Why isn't there a DIY fragrance sub as active as this one?

You know, I've wondered the same thing. We're basically making aroma/perfume mean to be inhaled. The vapor itself doesn't have a taste, per se (plug your nose when you exhale, if I'm not making sense here. Same as when you eat food). I would absolutely love to find a community like that. We could probably learn a lot veering away from the hivemind a bit.

Candle makers, Soap makers, perfume / cologne makers. Few subs i am about of that talk about FO and EO's.

E juice is a lot of like food flavored items, I want like abstract scents that go together, like lavender or sage or sandalwood. I assume a sandalwood flavored ejuice would be very expensive and not very worth it...

I'm not 100% on this, but AFAIK, perfumery is like DIY ejuice x 9000. Just browsing over the stuff available from TPA, it seems like it would be pretty damn complicated. Especially when most flavors we use are at least close to something we'd eat, whereas fragrance molecules don't have that kind of familiarity to most of us. I'm about to get into making my own beard oils using just the essential oils my GF has on hand and I'm pretty overwhelmed as to how to craft a complex scent.

I don't know, but on that I met a very successful boutique soap maker over the holidays and oddly enough he uses a lot of the same flavoring for smells that we use for vaping.
