...would it be outrageous to suggest a selection of Flavorah picks be included in the "My First Order" Flavors sidebar?
I only ask because, as a new mixer myself, I've had some wildly satisfying "training wheels off" moments with Flavorah flavors specifically. When my attempts at building my first complex bakery juices proved sadly lacking, I shelved them until I could get some more flavors ordered and whipped up a shockingly good 10ml shake-n-vape berry crunch cereal recipe, by-the-drop (sorry! I was pre-scale!) using only 3 Flavorah ingredients.
It's nothing I would post to the monthly recipe thread, but, it once I re-create and refine it, it would definitely be worth sharing as an easy introductory mix.
What I'm saying is, I know Flavorah flavors generally requires a light hand, but, I don't think they fall into the same category as MF or even FA. I think even unskilled mixers can make a tasty vape quickly and easily, on a fairly tight budget. Is there a reason they're not recommended more? Is it the expense? The lack of wide availability? Do they make things too easy?

I get really giddy when I see someone link one of my posts. So glad I was able to provide something helpful for others!
From what i have seen they really don't have a big selection of flavors and some flavors get reviewed far more positively than others.
If they develop a much larger selection somebody will post about which ones are worthwhile.
You can make very simple two flavor recipes with all of the flavoring companies , especially FA if you want to.
Medicine Flower flavorings have definitely cooled down the Flavorah talk lately.
I don't disagree with you at all, I'm just saying that certain flavors, like Cinnamon Crunch and (I know I'm in the minority here, but) Cereal Crunch take, like, 4 or 5 steps out of creating a solid cereal foundation, so all you have to do is kinda' paint-by-numbers to nail down those milks and fruits while avoiding pitfalls like the Lemon Pledge syndrome.
Is the selection smallish? Yes. But that's only because they seem to be just ramping up. But, for what they have now? I couldn't imagine my "starter kit" without Pink Guava and the polarizing "Cereal Crunch" (not together! ew!). They've made things a lot easier for this newbie, and helped me whip up my "Playskool First Mixes" well enough to keep me from getting discouraged.
But, yeah, they don't singlehandedly replace FA/TFA/INW/ETC. Of course not. Just nice to have around in the first-timer's kit, yet curiously lacking in the suggested "first order" thread.
Well you would know better than i would , i actually have never tried them yet but i have only heard great things so what you say i have no doubt is correct .
I understand they are new compared to a lot of others so it will be great when they can start adding to the selections.
Anything that makes things easier is a HUGE plus.
So are you saying they don't make their concentrates at the chemical level? That they just combine existing concentrates by other companies?
I assumed they created their concentrates, but the way you stated that makes it sound like they just mix TFA Cinnamon and TFA Captain Cereal and call it Flavorah Cinnamon Crunch.
I figured they make their own at a chemical level because of the colors. A lot of their juice is a copper looking color.
Nooooooooo, not at all! I wouldn't presume to know how they make their concentrates, and I am definitely not suggesting they are combining from other flavoring companies. I was just saying that things like Cinnamon Crunch and Cereal Crunch give the new user a nice running start toward a good, vapeable cereal base while using a minumum of ingredients. And I'm not even saying that's the end game here. It's those tiny flourishes added that make a recipe truly great.
I can't imagine it's TFA, their flavors are much more potent than most of their counterparts/competition. If it is just a relabeled flavoring, I'd love to know...I bet it'd be cheaper going straight to the source.

They are more expensive and if you hadn't noticed people are usually starting with the more well known or readily available ones and stick with them.
When I first started I went to LA and TFA because that is what ecigexpress had. I stuck with them for awhile because lack of knowledge and lack of research.
People make recipes out of what they have. Most people have the other brands. So probably 90% of recipes call for the other flavors.
I didn't even think about Flavorah until I started doing deep research on what will make a good Froot Loops recipe that is set apart from the current ones and set myself to the task of figuring it out.
Six months later I am still looking and realized that Flavorah may hold some of the key ingredients I need for this Task .
My next concentrate order will contain eight of their concentrates. Then four others from FA and INW.
TFA and CAP have some good shit, but you have to dig deep sometimes to get a better recipe when company has the same flavor concentrates that are "night and day" different,
You go looking at fruit and you see Artificial Candy, Natural Fresh Fruit, Some Sweet, Some Bitter, Some Juicy, and ect.. You never know what each Brand offers until you research and/or look at other people's research.
Same here. My first order was almost entirely TFA, because they were affordable and had a lot of interesting "colors" to add to my paint box. My second order was considerably more expensive, because it called for more FA flavors than I was comfortable with the first time around. In between those, though, was a small Flavorah order, which yielded a lot of pleasurable results that I hadn't had before.
I started way behind you (I've only been mixing a month or so) but have found Flavorah to be helpful for beginner and intermediate recipes, as well as popping up in the more advanced recipes.
Mixes with peanut butter and yogurt didn't appeal to me at all but, since seeing some recent reviews, I couldn't resist adding them to my tool kit. I only mentioned them as an additions to the "my first flavors" order thread, hoping the more experienced mixers like you might chime in. I feel like we can't underestimate this sub's power in moving the market toward tastier (and easier) recipes.
Yeah, I don't see their flavors as being just easier as much as I see that a lot of their flavors are convenient for easier compiled recipes because they are multiple flavor concentrates.
No different then CAP is doing with stuff like Chocolate Covered Doughnut.
They still have several single flavor concentrates that are probably significant and will work better or worse in certain recipes.
I myself would love to see the community pull together and have a site dedicated to top recipes.
You would need an unbiased panel of mixers to mix and judge.
I would love to see premixed concentrates sold also though. It would take some time and dedication from multiple people too be able to decide what the majority liked.
Right now the Commercial eJuice Market is so Saturated with juices from these guys that do DIY and get to a level where they figure it is time to bottle commercially that you have no idea what to buy other then looking for the Hype.
For instance the best Pebbles juice I have found is from an small Indiana shop. A B&M owner down here attended an Indiana Vape Confrence, found it, and ordered stock. Best damn recipe I have ever tasted "of course that is subjective".
It has been a year and hardly no one I meet on here has tried it. I am sure when they hear someone mention a juice they figure it is just another clone of something they had. So its real hard to for commercial recipes to build hype unless they are put in a place for people to try them and samples sent out
These concentrates are kind of the same but much smaller scale. If one of them or a mix of two of them "mixed properly" is good the majority will not know. That is until a DIY'er with some credibility comes out with a recipe or mixes a recipe and reviews it so that the hype will build.
If you make a good recipe and want others to DIY it you better have some credibility or be able to present it very well with words and description.
Are you talking about Slurp? That stuff is great!! There is a shortage of it right now, but I'm hoping to get more soon and work on a recipe ;)
Yeah, Most people just wouldn't understand how different a Pebbles juice could be till they tried it. Community is suffering from from the whole Cereal Killa & Looper hype, yuck...
Ordered a couple bottles of it a few days ago. I hate having to buy premium juice, but no one has came close to this one.
