This is the thread to share all of your best individual creations. If you want to share your recipe as its own post, it must have extra content such as development process, variations, etc - but please post it here as well for posterity. Clones you made should go in the clone thread, and we also have weekly threads for new-mixer questions and "help me mix something with these flavors" threads. Please help keep the community "clean" by posting in appropriate threads.
It's best to use the format:
<Flavor> (<Vendor>) @ x%
<Flavor> (<Vendor>) @ x%
<Flavor> (<Vendor>) @ x%
<Flavor> (<Vendor>) y drops per z ml
(note - if you are having trouble with spacing, hit the space bar twice before you hit return and your comment will begin a new line without a paragraph break).
Don't forget to review the over 70 recipes from the December thread! Your next ADV may have already been posted there. Congrats to /u/Nicobeak for having top-voted recipe last month.
Please note that we won't be using contest mode on the recipe thread this month either. Recommended sort is by "new".
Happy Mixing!
In honor of celebrating the arrival of 2016, I am happy to finally be releasing my recipe for "Vicious Vanilla".
As many have requested this over the past several months, I feel it's only right to start 2016 off right with the release of this recipe.
History: This recipe began as a quest to discover a vanilla cream base that would work well in a variety of circumstances. After testing this base on it's ~12th variation as a standalone, I realized that it had a ton of merit to stand on it's own.
Vicious Vanilla
3.5% CAP Vanilla Custard V1 (my preference over V2 although V2 is excellent as well after a ~30 day steep IMPO)
2.25% TFA Vanilla Swirl
1.5% FA Vienna Cream
1.5% TFA Bavarian Cream
1.5% FA Catalan Cream
1% FA Vanilla Classic
0.25% CAP Cinnamon Danish Swirl
Steep and Use: Allow at least a 1 week period to steep/age/homogenize/whateverthefuckyouwanttocallit. If you use Vanilla Custard V2, allow 30 days. This recipe really is best IME after 30 days, gets better at 90 days, and is truly a gem after 6 months but good luck waiting that long. Goes excellently with your morning coffee, or if you prefer a more subtle, ADV that isn't super sweet and isn't fruity, it may work for you there as well. I will admit that I had a recipe similar to this when I first got into DIY and it was the first ever non-fruity mix that became an ADV for me.
Development: I began making slight adjustments to boost it's own profile without injecting any fruit flavors into it (which had been my original intention). After trying a variety of spices, cinnamon, other more flavorful back notes (TFA Pie Crust, Graham Cracker, CAP GC, etc) this is where I eventually settled.
The addition of Catalan Cream and CDS really set this recipe over the top for me as differentiating it from a straight vanilla vape without masking the vanilla with too much other flavor. I didn't want the cinnamon and Mediterranean spices to overtake the subtle vanilla profile. I also wanted to ensure that this recipe could survive as an ADV without the accumulation of vapers tongue.
Feel free to boost total flavor percentage up to as high as 12.5% without vapers tongue (add 10% to each of the above).
You can find some other development notes from when I first discussed this about 18 months ago here.
Happy New Years Everyone and have a prosperous 2016.
Feel free to copy/paste, save, share, re-post etc. Always appreciate a reference though!
Oh damn. Always love it when you share one of your secrets, but it also usually means I'm obsessed with an ADV for the next few months. As luck would have it I used up the last of my CAP VC yesterday, so my new obsession will have to wait a bit. Thanks and Happy New Year my man.
No FA Vanilla Classic. Maybe I'll finally experiment with FA Vanilla Tahiti.
I tried it out with Vanilla Tahiti since my Vanilla Classic is MIA (stupid tiny bottles) and it was amazing. Someday when I find it I'll try the original as well, but it was delicious with Tahiti!
by jove, this is some good shit, i had to modify slightly as i was missing one flavour (switched cat cream for custard cream FA) and also bumped overall flavour % up to 15% as i like max vg , has become my fav juice, have ordered the cat-cream and planning on a 100ml batch when it lands, many many thanks botboy, much appreciated mate
Just finished my 2 week steeped 5ml tester. This recipe is glorious. It has some similarities with Colossus by Cyclops Vapor... but it is easily better. I've been trying to make something similar to Colossus for a long time – You went beyond. Can't wait to start on my 120ml bottle in 2 weeks. Thanks so much for this.
I broke and tasted it at 2 months on a fresh build, very delicious! Only have 30ml of my 120 left.
My only issue with the recipe is that I cannot drip it after anything else. Very delicate mellow vanilla and light spices get easily overtaken by whatever I was dripping last.
Very delicious nonetheless, thank you very much!
I am confused about the "base" concept , does a "base" mean unfinished and you should add something else or is it an actual finished product?
Any idea on the similarities between FA Vanilla Classic and INW Vanilla Classic? It's the only ingredient I am missing for this mix, probably going to make it anyways, but just wondering.
As always thanks for all you do for this sub.
There is no way I can call myself the first person to come up with this combination, but I can say I am the first one to note its likeness to Strawberry Custard by White Label Juice Co. Inspired by one of my favorite strawberry e-liquids, I present Tubby Custard or White Label Strawberry Custard Clone.
8% Sweet Strawberry (CAP)
6% Vanilla Custard V1 (CAP)
2% Cake (Yellow) (FW)
Enjoy with or without steeping. Kudos to /u/Steegzqt for inspiring my search for the proper strawberry and custard concentrates.
Follow-up Edit: White Label's Strawberry Custard is a distinctive strawberries and cream-type blend (if you can call it that). Out of the many commercial strawberries and cream e-liquids I tried, Strawberry Custard had a simple charm unmatched by Vapewild's Strawberries and Cream, BleuX's Mom's Milk, and MBV's Moo Juice. White Label's Strawberry Custard was less buttery and/or creamy and featured a strawberry flavor that was unlike a true strawberry, tasting more like a tart strawberry bon bon.
Recreating the recipe was a matter of finding the right strawberry and custard concentrates. CAP Vanilla Custard V1 was my first choice since it is a renowned custard concentrate that lacks a strong vanilla flavor. Finding the "right" strawberry was more difficult. I tried TFA Ripe Strawberry and TFA Strawberry mixed with CAP VC before trying CAP Sweet Strawberry. FW Yellow Cake is featured in this recipe for no tested reason. I have not tried this recipe without FW Yellow Cake but I suspect it is an unnecessary component. If you do not have it, feel free to omit FW Yellow Cake.
I wonder if I could make their version of Strawberry Cheesecake by subbing out the Vanilla Custard for CAP NY Cheesecake. I'll wait for a new shipment of sweet strawberry to find out.
Very spot on, btw. When I was buying juice on a budget (before DIY), this stuff was like crack to me.
Glad you enjoyed it! It was one of my absolute favorites, so much so that it was the only blend I ordered from WLJC back in the day.
Let me know how the Strawberry Cheesecake turns out, I've never tried WLJC's Strawberry Cheesecake, but if it's at all similar to the custard I'm sure it's awesome. I think you're on the right track with using all CAP ingredients.
I'm thinking this will be my first mix. Will CAP Vanilla Custard V2 work, or should I hunt for V1? Also, has anyone tried this without the FW Yellow Cake yet?
I have not tried it with CAP Vanilla Custard V2. V2 leaves something to be desired when compared to V1, but I think the flavors are similar enough to get by. You wouldn't lose much if you mixed a 10mL batch to try it out.
I fully encourage you to try it without FW Yellow Cake as well. When I was mixing this, I didn't know I was making the Strawberry Custard of my dreams. I think of FW Yellow Cake as unnecessary at this time, but I have not tried making this blend without it (I'm still working on finishing the first batch).
As it stands, the recipe is tasty but in need of revision. FW Yellow Cake could probably be removed and I think I could lower flavor percentages across the board. Keep an eye out in next month's (maybe even this month's) recipe/clone thread for a revision with more notes. I definitely want to try VC V2 to see if it works.
My new jam this year has been Pear profiles, and my latest favorite of the last 3 or 4 iterations of Pear is
Pear L. Sense
Pear (TFA) 4%
Pear (FA) 1%
Fuji (FA) 1.5%
Honeydew (TFA) 2%
Meringue (FA) 1.5%
Pretty straightforward pear notes boosted nicely by the Fuji and the Honeydew gives some really nice juicy "ripe" back notes, without the Honeydew actual flavor coming out too much. A good addition to this is also FA/INW Raspberry combo, but I like this enough just on its own.
Edit: Name change, as I didn't notice I used the same recipe name as another user in this thread.
Hey you should check out this Placid clone by /u/psyki. I'd be surprised if you didn't have all the flavors on hand and I'm sure you'll like it based on your own recipe.
http://e-liquid-recipes.com/recipe/299629/Adirondack+-+Placid+%2528Clone%2529
I've been messing with variations of this recipe on my own and the version I mixed up last night was with 1.5% FA Meringue and some other percentage tweaks. I've also been using FW Pear instead for this.
Thanks for this recipe - I'll definitely be making it when I do my next batch. Also what was the original name for this?
His is pretty close to my own version I've been working on. So far /u/onmywaydownnow has the closest I've tried. I can't really try this particular version as I don't have INW strawberry. And the biggest downside for me with Placid is that I can't taste strawberry for the life of me.
Edit: Didn't catch your last question. I named this Pearracuda, which /u/BiggieSmallsEyeball used when posting his Pear/custard mix here a few weeks ago and I just didn't notice it.
I'll mix this tonight and report back. Thanks for posting
Sweet! Hope you like it.
Its good, however I'm getting harshness out of the mix(which im assuming is the TFA Pear)
TFA Pear is so hit or miss with me. Some of my mixes turn out fantastic, and others...the dreaded harsh pear. I have no clue as to why my concentrate does it, but it happens.
Thanks again for posting. Will vouch, tasty recipe for anyone interested in mixing it.
STRAWBERRY JAM CRACKER
- INW Strawberry 2.5%
- TFA Strawberry Ripe 2.5%
- CAP Graham Cracker 3%
- TFA Graham Cracker Clear 2%
- TFA Vanilla Swirl 2.5%
- FA Vienna Cream 2%
- FA Cream Fresh 2%
INW Strawberry is hands down my absolute favorite strawberry flavor. It stands loud and clear compared to any other strawberry flavor and can be sweet or fresh depending on how it's mixed. I added an equal part of (the weaker) TFA Strawberry Ripe to round it out and give it syrupy flavor.
My first iteration had CAP Graham Cracker at 5% without the TFA Graham Cracker Clear and it was good, but when I lowered the CAP GC and added TFA GCC it again, served to round out the graham cracker flavor.
The vanilla and cream mix is kind of my go-to cream mix. I use the same combo of flavors in a lot of my fruit and pastry mixes at various percentages. These are the percentages I found it work best in this mix. Some of my friends of mine say they taste the graham cracker more than the strawberry and vice versa. The cream just blends it all together quite nicely.
Truly good as a shake & vape but does get better after a few days.
Happy new year, totally delicious Canolli recipe I whipped up rather recently. Give at least a few days, ideally a week to steep.
Holy Canolli!
- CAP Vanilla Custard 5% (any higher and we can't really taste the pastry shell and nuances in the cream)
- CAP New York Cheesecake 1% (essential for the marscapone cheese taste, depth in the cream flavor)
- CAP Golden Butter 1 drop/15ml (CAP Butter Cream at 0.25% if you don't have this, or leave it out)
- MF Grape, Sauvignon Blanc Flavor 1 drop/15ml (use a hint of a white grape flavor if you don't have this, here for authenticity and balance, not entirely necessary but nice though. can be omitted if you don't have it but will enhance if you do have. For example FA White Grape 2-3 drops can do the trick)
- MF Dark Chocolate 0.35% (use TFA Pistachio instead of this at a reasonable percentage for a tasty variation if you don't have this... or both if you are up for it. the pyrazines in pistachio accent the chocolate well. If you want straight canolli cream than you can ignore this addition, I like it though)
- INW Biscuit 1.50% (with joy it makes fried dough akin to canolli pastry)
- FA Joy 0.50% - fried dough, white sugar inhale
- FA Meringue 0.50% - powdered sugar and body for the custard
- FA Fresh Cream 0.50% - milky, creamy, smooth
- CAP Sweet Cream 1.00% - sweet milky taste, cheesy nuance, for authentic whole milk ricotta/marscapone
- INW Lemon Mix 1 drop/15ml - enhancer/authenticity (you can use inw/fe lemon if you don't got this, or lemon of your choice but I like this the best. keep the lemon note around 0.25%)
- FA Cinnamon Ceylon 0.25% - enhancer/authenticity 2-3 drops per 30 ml is best
- DIYFS Holy Vanilla 0.30% (you can use fa vienna cream if you don't have this around 0.50%), or FLV Cream at 0.50%
- FA Marshmallow 0.50% - extra bit of body, sweetness, anywhere between 0.25%-0.5% is good.
Let this steep. Takes a little for the richness to build and joy to settle down. Totally delicious when it all comes together.
I'm definitely going to make this. Only thing I'll change, in my family we don't add the fruit, and put chopped walnut on the ends.
We also sprinkle them with powered sugar. Any ideas on how to achieve a powered sugar flavor?
Lemon Pie
- Custard (FA) 2%
- Cheesecake Graham Crust (TFA) 2%
- Apple Pie (FA) 1%
- Biscuit (INW) 0.5%
- Lemon Sicily (FA) 1%
- Lemon (INW) 0.6%
- Meringue (FA) 0.5%
Pretty damn tasty. Lemon Pies are pretty easy in my opinion and fun to experiment with. FA Custard, FA Apple Pie and INW Lemon are my go to's, the rest is whatever you feel like.
You could for example omit the TFA Cheesecake Graham Crust and add .5% FA Cookie or up the apple pie by .5%, add a touch of vienna cream, use only INW Lemon (I'd try 1.5% or a bit less), leave out the meringue (it's optional)...
As long as you use the three main ingredients it should be a solid vape.
This sounds great! I love lemon vapes, especially pies/bars/doughnuts. I don't have INW Lemon, so I might try subbing out with Cap's Juicy Lemon. How is INW Lemon?
It's very bold and sweet, pretty candyish actually but it's delicious. I've never tried CAP's but if you think it'll work go for it!
By the way if you end up trying it I'd love some feedback. The reason is I suck at comparing vapes to specific food items, I'm calling this a lemon pie but to some people it might be closer to a lemon bar or a lemon cheesecake for example. It's just that since it is lemon/custard/crust I'm calling it a pie and not overthinking it.
Oh, I will definitely be mixing this one up this coming Sunday. (Sunday seems like the only day I can make free for mixing) I've already saved it to eJuiceMeUp, and I'm really looking forward to it. Looks like I'll be subbing the INW Lemon, though, because BCV still doesn't have some much needed ingredients in stock yet for me to put in an order. And, yes, absolutely I'll let you know how it goes, including notes on substitutions.
Which Inawera Lemon are you using for this recipe? Lemon Concentrate (Cytryna), Wera Garden Lemon Mix, or their Shisha Lemon?
The lemon concentrate from their regular line. I really like it for this type of vape, but as I've said it's pretty candyish. I think it works really well but if you think something more natural would be better feel free to use whatever you like.
I don't have INW lemon but I have lemon sicily, TFA lemon, FE lemon, and Juicy lemon. Suggestions? I really want this
Tbh im going to take out the lemons and make a blackberry pie by using 1-1.5% BlackBerry TFA, and like .3% Boysenberry FLV, and maybe .3% Bilberry just to mellow the blackberry. I'll probably add 1% NewYork cheesecake CaP, and a little Bavarian Cream
lol that's a pretty different recipe! Should be good nonetheless though. I'd personally do 1% Blackberry and 0.5% Boysenberry. Interested to hear how it turns out.
Amongst the lemons you listed I only have lemon sicily, if using only that I think I'd try 3% to start.
Yeah I decided on 1-1.5% BlackBerry, 4% Strawberry TFA, and .3% Bilberry. I decided on TFA strawberry to smooth out the blackberry. I've had success with BlackBerry at 1.5%, but you're totally right so I'll probably end up doing 1%. Do you think 4% strawberry is too much? I feel like its not a strong flavor and it'll help it out. I won't mind a strawberry/blackberry pie either. I really like what BlackBerry does to strawberry.
This is my second of three variations of Liquid Gold. So far this is my favorite.

Looks good, man. I'll try this out but I'll probably omit the FA Cookie since it burns my throat. If it doesn't taste right, I'll add it in. Do you have an ELR link for this?
Looks great, I only have tpa horchata smooth. Will that work?

As I reflect on this past year, it was a huge one for me. I got married, bought a house, got a dog and two cats, and have started DIY. I live in PA, it finally decided to get cold, and lately I've been craving tropical juices. Our honeymoon was in Jamaica and I wish I never had to leave. SO HERE IS A LITTLE TASTE O' DAT JAMAICAN RELAXATION, MON! STRRRAIGHT FROM DA RESORT! I present:
ROOM PUNCH! (Ya Mon, currently in development)
Coconut Extra (TFA) - 0.5%
Fresh Cream (FA) - 1%
Dragonfruit (TFA) - 0.5%
Golden Pineapple (CAP) - 1%

Sweet Guava (CAP) - 0.5%

"YO DIS LOOKS GREAT, BUT DOES IT TASTE LIKE DA DRINK, MON?!" Yep, it does taste like rum punch. Nice coconut milk base, sweet tropical fruits, and a slight rum presence. Alcohol can be adjusted to taste and I am researching some other alcohol flavors to use.
Lots of lurking on here and haven't made a post. I have been making juice for quite a while now, and figured i'd share my latest vape. I mix max VG so i'm not sure how a 50/50 blend would taste. Hope you enjoy and feedback would be awesome!

The overall flavor percentage seems high but it's just right. This is basically and shake and vape but it really starts to become it's true form after a week. Out the gate, this juice is very vibrant and bright but after 2 weeks the flavor gets so much body. I've noticed that this flavor is difficult to get vapors tongue from - it could just be me, but it's a consistent blend. Enjoy.

Two of my favorite things are Bourbon and Apple Pie, so I thought I would see how they worked together.

- Whiskey (FA) 1.25%
- Oak Wood (FA) 0.5%
- Vanilla Swirl (TFA) 1%
- Kentucky Bourbon (TFA) 3%

Quick question; is that Whiskey definitely Flavourart? All I seem to be able to find is Flavor West.
Shisha Custard
- 9% CAP Vanilla Custard V1
- 3% INW Shisha Vanilla
- 2% TFA Dulce de Leche
- 1% MBV Bavarian Cream - TFA is a good sub
- 1% TFA Brown Sugar Extra
- 0.5% FA Fresh Cream
This is like lots of Grant's VC clones out there, but the INW Shisha Vanilla changes the flavor slightly in a most pleasing way. Let it age a week.
Do you have experience with FW Dulce de Leche? Do you have any recommendations about the TFA version?
I don't have any direct experience with FW Dulce de Leche. From http://e-liquid-recipes.com:
- FW, 4 stars, median Percentages in recipes 2.8%
- TFA, 3.5 stars, median Percentages in recipes 2%
- TFA is used in 6585 recipes, FW is used in 502
Based on that information, FW is tastier, but weaker and less popular.
This turned out nice :)

Note: The Fruit Rings with Milk mutes the lemon pledge taste. Hence, we need the citrus from Capella Sweet Tangerine or a lemon flavoring to give it that fruit loops taste. TPA Hazelnut, Sweet Cream and Bavarian Cream creates a rich and creamy base which acts as your milk. Definitely needs a good steep for the creams to develop.
Here is a good cheesecake base:
- LA Cheesecake 3
- HS Italian Cream 1.75
- TFA Cheesecake Graham Crust 2.5
- INW Shisha Vanilla 1
Give it a few days to a week for the LA to not taste so plasticy.
Add fruits...whatever really.
Good additions that I've tried, both really good:
- Strawberry Ripe 6
- Shisha Strawberry 1
And
- Amoretti Key Lime .75 (just a random lime I wanted to try, other limes would do) This one is my favorite. It tastes like key lime pie but the lime is very light.

The super sweet can be subbed for other sucralose solutions like TFA, which is 10% (CAP is 20%), but CAP's has other additive that really (to me) make it taste so much better. Super Sweet gives it a much smoother sugary feel. I feel like with TFA's sweetener I am just loading in sugar where as CAP's, while I still feel like I'm loading in sugar, it just seems to rolls over the tongue much better and has much bitier (if that makes sense) sweetness.
I do have to give a warning about the additives in CAP's Super Sweet; It's been mentioned before that besides the citric acid, it contains other preservatives. Vape at your own risk, please.
Hey dude, this looks good. I made this on Saturday and can't wait to try it. How long would you reccomend for steeping?
My first recipe of the new year! The name is a pun because this arose of just dicking around, and a good recipe came of it.
Deadly Cereous
2% TFA lucky leprechaun
1.5% FW Apple Jacks
4% FW Cake batter dip
0.5% FLV coconut
0.75% TFA graham Cracker (clear)

1.5% FLV Vanilla custard
Steep 5+ days. Sweet and thick :)
Just mixed this up minus the coconut (hate that shit, even a drop of any coconut flavor ruins a mix for me) and without even steeping its a wonderful change of pace from what i get with seemingly similar recipes. Best use of FW Apple Jacks I've seen, doesn't even taste like cardboard!

This reminds me of something I've had before, but can't place it. I like the pineapple and peach notes and the fuji rounds the flavor out nicely and adds some needed sweetness. The lemon and lime give it a bit of tartness and brightens the fruit flavors a bit, while the spearmint is just barely in the background.
A good shake and vape if you are in a hurry. This definitely, in my opinion, doesn't need any additional sweetener.
Critiques and comments welcome.
I'm definitely going to whip up a variation of this and report back. I'm thinking 3% CAP Golden pineapple, a FA white peach/FA peach/FLV peach combo, keeping Fuji right where it is, keeping the lemon and lime flavors exactly, and using my FW spearmint at that percentage.
edit: So yep, this is quite sweet. This pineapple/peach combo is very yummy and I like the work that the supporting cast is doing here. The spearmint finish is a nice touch. Nice Mix. Post it up to /r/shakeandvape. I named my version after you:

I was on a root beer kick so I started looking through my flavors. I have no sassafras and I only have root beer float by tfa. I started digging around some more and realized I had root beer from osdiy. I smelled it and did a taste test again and was thinking hell yes this gonna work. So I mixed some up at 10% and thought it needed the float part. I did a little research and this is what I came up with. Simple shake and vape!

This is a milder recipe, more subtle. With steeping the flavors meld and it becomes more complex and quite good. I would say steeping is necessary for this to truly enjoy it. Two ideas for modding this I have not tried yet is adding sweetener and/or adding coconut. One of the ideas behind this recipe was to avoid coconut, I love it but just wanted something without it.
We mixed these at 70% VG and 30% PG.
This is my first recipe post. I have done DYI quite a bit for many years, but I pretty much ran out of supplies a while back, recently I stocked up with 25+ flavors and other supplies and am looking forward to mixing many more flavors.
Peanut Butter fiend reporting in. This is my seventh and best iteration of a dessert flavor utilizing peanut butter.
Behold...
PJPBX (v7)
Peanut Butter (TFA) - 6%
Tres Leches (FW) - 1.5%
Sugar Cookie (CAP) - 3%
Vanilla Custard V1 (CAP) - 2%
Butterscotch (FA) - 1%
Peanuts (INW) - 0.5%
Total flavor percentage - 14%
I have been calling it PJPBX because I wasn't sure what I wanted to emulate. Instead, I simply tried to find the best pairings for TFA PB and go from there.
Previous iterations included CAP PB and FLV'S version. CAP PB has an unnecessarily long steep time, and it's taste doesn't reflect the smell very well. The aroma is of an extremely sweet and buttery peanut butter, while it tastes more nutty and slightly burnt to me. The FLV PB had a strange taste to it, but I could see revisiting this in super small percentages (drops/xml).
Tres Leches is super sweet; I highly recommend the concentrate. Ive combined with Sugar Cookie and VC1 to make up the dessert base.
The butterscotch and INW Peanuts exist to accent the main flavor and provide depth.
It's actually not bad right away, but please give this a week to fully develop.
Thanks!
I've been doing diy for about a year and mostly been just making recipes I've found. Little by little I think I've gotten some idea about how the flavors work and started to find ways to make stuff that I like myself. I've worked on dozens of recipes, which mostly have been huge disappointments. These are the ones I'm happy with so far, and ones I'd say are nearing readiness. For reference, Rhodonite and gambit v2 are the best recipes I've come across. I've been learning a lot from here so I feel I should also be giving back. I thought long and hard whether I should post them, but here goes, you can find some notes on ELR behind the links. Any comments and suggestions appreciated.

Pretty self explanatory. TFA Regular Horchata is way to Cinnamoney and CAP Horchata is straight Custard. Horchata smooth has a perfect balance of Cream and Cinnamon and a little rice essence. Any thing lower than 10% just doesn't cut it.

This is my first time posting here, and I have three recipes I'm really proud of.
This recipe is really simple, but I'm REALLY pleased with how it turned out.
Poe's Purple Fairy
Cucumber (TFA): 6%
Green Tea (FF): 3%
Boysenberry (FW): 4%
I don't even like peach, and I made this for my boyfriend, but it ended up so amazing, that I ended up making a 120mL of it for myself. Great ADV.

Bavarian Cream (TFA): 7%
Juicy Peach (TFA): 5%
French Vanilla Deluxe (TFA): 3%
Butterscotch (TFA): 2%
Acetyl Pyrazine 0.75%
Vanilla custards are my favorite and I have made tons of test batches, trying to make the best. So far, this is the best I've come up with. Creamy and smooth. I steeped this 3 days and ran it in an ultrasonic cleaner most nonstop for that time. (Still experimenting with how long is best to steep/shake in the cleaner)
Baudelaire's Black Band
Ethyl Maltol (TFA): 0.5%
Acetyl Pyrazine 5%: 0.75%
Brown Sugar (TFA): 1%
Butterscotch (TFA): 2%
Cheesecake Graham Crust (TFA): 7%

Mountain Dew Baja Blast

6% TFA Citrus Punch
0.75% FA Lemon Sicily
0.5% FA Lime Tahity Cold Pressed
1% FA Orange
1% INW Raspberry
Wow, excellent first submission! Tastes just like the drink! Just taking a whiff of blackcurrant instantly reminds me of it. What was your reasoning on adding the black cherry?
+1
Thanks! That means a lot, the first thing I ever mixed was actually your blueberry cream and I still go through at least 30mls of it each week!
The black cherry was the final addition, before adding it the raspberry and blackcurrant were really distinguishable. Black cherry tastes somewhat in the middle to me and viola! It tied the flavors into one solid mix.
Is there a way I could cheapen up this recipe to maybe 2/3 flavors? I know it wouldnt be the same, but a suggestion for something close?
ditch the extra lemon (and if you have to, lime), along with the black cherry, they are enhancers.
FA Orange adds a high sweet citrus note that I couldn't do without, and blackberry + blackcurrant make up the real flavor of the juice.
If you have another raspberry, any can be subbed for INW Raspberry.
It won't be the same recipe, although will be similar.

I love Baja Blast! I got some house juice from a shop around me which I'm pretty sure is just this. I later bought this and have since used it up.
Can't wait to try your recipe /u/helloiamyourpeepaw Ordering the stuff for it now.
I wanted something a little different than what i usually vape, so i decided i would try my hand working with cinnamon. We sold a pretty decent vanilla cinnamon juice at the store i used to work at, but I wasn't ever blown away by it.
Cinnamon Vanilla Danish
5.0% Cinnamon Danish Swirl (CAP)
1.5% Vanilla Swirl (TPA)
1.5% French Vanilla (CAP)
1.2% Ethyl Maltol (TPA)
0.8% Joy (FA)
The cinnamon danish is strong at first, but levels out after a few days. I was going for soft vanilla backing notes rather than have it pop out. I find that french vanilla sits in the background and rounds off the danish.
Joy works really well in this recipe to add that extra sweet note that works so well in bakery type recipes.
To me it's not overpoweringly sweet like the store bought juice, but packs just as much flavor
Blueberry Bananagram Blast
5% Blueberry Extra (TPA)
4% Cheesecake (Graham Crust) (TPA)
6% DX Banana Cream (TPA)
2% DX Sweet Cream (TPA)
3% Whipped Cream (TPA)
Dessert Version:

For Tanks I bring the DX BC to 8 because in my experience my tanks bring the blueberry flavor well and the DX BC tends to get muted. If the flavor is too much for your taste in a dripper, you can reduce the %'s by ~.5-.75% each (ends up at 16.25-17.5%)
EDIT: formatting
This is one that I cam e up with trying to replicate the juice my boss vapes.
Its quite refreshing, and I'm finding it hard to put down.
Simple Water Grape
Ingredients|Ing % :---|---: Watermelon (FA)|1.00% Champagne (TFA)|4.00% Cucumber (TFA)|0.50% Cactus (INW)|0.50% Koolada 10% (TFA)|0.50%
Koolada was added as 2 drops per 10ml, which is about 0.5%.
Cucumber is there to add something else to both the grape and the watermelon.
I dont have many Grapes, and they all tasted like american grape candy. I was after something of a white grape. Champagne is actually perfect for this.
FA Watermelon is bang on the watermelon I was looking for, helped by the cucumber.
Cactus is there to add some wetness, and I reckon some Dragonfruit wouldnt go amiss here either (who doesnt love dragonfruit?!)
Its a very easy vape. A refreshing grape, with just a hint of watermelon.
Wrong time of year, but still tasty :)
Just picked up the stuff to try this out. It might take a week or so with this weather, but I can't wait to try it out.
On a side note. I have a 30ml bottle of FW dragonfruit that I've not really found a good use for. I didn't mean to order that much of it. What do you use it with?

Hi Fawgmachine, thanks for taking an interest in the recipe :-)
I've never tried INW or FW Mango's unfortunately. Do you have Cap Sweet Mango? that may be a good subtitute, but regardless, try whatever you have on hand, you may come up with something better than my mix :-)
The Cap Orange/Mango with Stevia is very sweet actually and may not even be to your tastes, so have fun experimenting and please let me know how you get on :-)
Happy mixing!
This is a pretty solid juice tbh. I just didnt have the CAP Orange mango, so i went with like 1.5% of random orange and mangos, and added like 1% of meringue. 3 of my friends wanted to buy it off me, but i cant remember ´which orange and mango i went with lmao! Anyway, we love our juicy juices in Euroland
Just pulled this out of the cabinet after a few weeks and it was better than expected. Everything but the Caramel (TPA) & Vanilla Custard v2 (CAP) were chosen specifically for their flavor profile. At the time it was mixed I only had one caramel and was running low on Vanilla Custard v1 and even lower on Vanilla Custard FLV.
It's good as is but I'm excited to replace the Caramel & Vanilla Custard with FLV versions because I think they'll bring it that much closer to perfection.

Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich (first iteration, a work in progress)
2% FLV Peanut Butter
3% TFA Strawberry Ripe
1.5% TFA Strawberry
1% INW Biscuit
1% FA Cookie
I recently got some FLV Peanut Butter and it is damn good. It's got a nice salty, nutty, and creamy taste and texture. I have never had a peanut butter flavor, but I can't really imagine anything else better or more accurate than FLV's version. After tasting FLV Peanut Butter by itself at 2.5%, I immediately knew I wanted to try my hand at a PB + J flavor.
FLV Peanut Butter - Only peanut butter flavor I have however, I am in love with the salty and creamy texture it had in it's single flavor test batch at 2.5%, so I went with 2% for the recipe.
TFA Strawberry Ripe/Strawberry - These are widely known and used flavors that are pretty much self explanatory, but I went with the 3%/1.5% ratio because I am a fan of strawberry jelly that has little strawberry chunks in it. Strawberry Ripe kind of has that fleshy, earthy, creamy strawberry flavor to it and TFA Strawberry gives us that sweet almost candy like taste. I have FLV Strawberry and from all the notes I've read from others, it's supposed to be a jammy like strawberry flavor. That sounds like it would go perfect for this recipe however, I don't like FLV Strawberry and think it has a sickening medicine/cough syrup taste to it. If you are a fan of FLV Strawberry, it would probably work well in place of the strawberry combo I used.
INW Biscuit/FA Cookie - I had no idea where to go for the bread aspect of this recipe, but for a shot in the dark, this isn't a bad start. Biscuit gives that buttery/bready taste while FA cookie kinda gives that crunchiness to it. I know that AP can give a bready flavor, but I don't have any AP and plus I'm almost positive FA Cookie is packed with AP.
Any suggestions and/or recommendations would be greatly appreciated!
If you're in Europe you could maybe try to get some Toasted Bread (Pain grillé) from Solubarôme. I haven't tried it yet but just smelling from the bottle it smells exactly like toast!
Trying this now and I'll let you know what turns up. I've been doing something similar and it still is lacking the true AP or peanut butter feel. I just got TPA DX PB so I may try to include that in my first batch since I already know how this should taste. Question: FLV pb seems to be the true peanut but lacks butter, no? My thoughts were that it would pair really nice with a more buttery peanut butter so I'll let you know if that makes it pop. The Strawberry's I feel RIpe and Strawberry are perfect jams. I also have FLV strawberry but I'm not that keen on it. It seems to have an odd body to it...somewhat of an odd aftertaste too. I'll try DX TPA PB at 3% and let you know.
I mixed it up to recipe 80/20 just now. Off the bat the strawberry is hardly coming through, if at all. I'll let it sit a few days and report back.
I mixed it at 70/30. The PB settles down after about five days and then the strawberry comes through. I just mixed another 10mL where I bumped each strawberry up by a percent so I'll have to see how that goes. Let yours sit for about a week and give it another try. If the strawberry still isn't where you want it, increase them both by a percentage or two :)

What provides the "fried" flavor here?
Apricot Brandy
Keep it simple folks , keep it fucking simple . All I want a smooth apricot brandy that actually simple and doesn't overwhelm you . It's smooth and sweet .
-
Apricot (TFA) - 4% --> This is the main note here, you may change with other Apricot but this is the only one I have , so adjust accordingly .
-
Brandy (FA) - 0.75% --> Yup this is the brandy you want to use , it cooks the Apricot and make it juicy and sweet.
-
Vienna Cream (FA) - 1.5% --> Will I needed a filler , this flavor is so versatile it's outrageous. It's basically the barrier between harshness and booze .

Fisherman's Friend Blackcurrant
Background: Someone asked me to make them juice for their wife. The juice they normally vape is called "Black Ice", a blackcurrant menthol type mix made by a local outlet. I pulled out INW Blackcurrant and FW Extreme Ice and mixed something which (in my head) would be something they would like.
Result: The exact same flavor as Fisherman's Friend Blackcurrant! I love these things, especially the blackcurrant ones! The juice smells and tastes just like them, pure luck!
Recipe:

One Night Stan Clone
The vape store near my house sells a White Peach Green Tea eJuice that my friends cannot get enough of. Because they would rather pay $5 per 30ml instead of nearly $20, I've created a clone of it.
ONE NIGHT STAN
10% Menthol - 2% (Note, my latest batch of menthol seems to be weaker than others before it, keep from 1%-2%)
10% Ethyl Maltol - 1% Adds in that smooth mouthfeel, cuts steep time, shortcuts to a popular juice, and frequent in many 'premium' eJuices
TFA Green Tea - 4% , easy enough explanation for this. 5% was too high, 3% was too low.
TFA Juicy Peach - 5% now this clearly isn't a white peach, although it is the peach they are using in ONS (unless it is TFA Peach, although I haven't tried it and Juicy Peach already matches the taste perfectly)
Kiwi & Co.
- Kiwi Double (TFA) 5%
- Pear (INW) 0.5%
- Pineapple (TFA) 1.5%
- Strawberry Ripe (TFA) 5%
- Strawberry (TFA) 2%
Here's my take on the classic strawberry/kiwi combo. The INW Pear complements Kiwi Double very nicely while pineapple lends sweetness and a little tartness.
Would TFA Pear work instead of INW?
Nothing particularly groundbreaking to share, but here's my take on One Hit Wonder's Muffin Man:
- CAP Cinnamon Danish Swirl @ 3%
- CAP Sweet Cream @ 2%
- FA Fuji @ .5%
- INW Shisha Vanilla .5%
The only thing here that I would say is absolutely essential is the CDS, everything else can probably be substituted. This was a mix I just threw together and it came out extremely close to the original. If you want less sweetener, cut the Sweet Cream in half and add .5% FA Fresh Cream. Happy mixing!
I'm gonna mix this up, I just don't have Shisha Vanilla. I'm gonna try subbing with either Madagascar or Vanilla Swirl. I know they're probably not very similar to Shisha Vanilla but I'll see how it goes
This is a recipe I have been vaping on for ~2 weeks or so and I have been really enjoying it. Of course any tips on how to improve it are welcomed, Im gonna need more INW Shisha Strawberry very very soon.
Simple Strawberry
6% INW Strawberry Shisha
6% FW Strawberry
2% Sour
1% Sweet
The result is a nice smooth somewhat sweet strawberry. Easy and quick to mix up. As far as steeping goes, it doesnt NEED to be steeped and is tasty from the get go, but im sure steeping it for a few days up to a week would give it an extra bit of flavor.
The FW strawberry is good, if theres a strawberry that works better with the strawberry shisha let me know. INW Strawberry Shisha has been nothing but great, even alone its a good flavor.
I've heard a lot of people comment that TFA Strawberry Ripe goes very well with INW Strawberry Shisha, making it more "jammy".
Interesting, right now its more of a sweet strawberry, I might have to pick up some ripe with my next order.

I worked on this for a while. I'm now mixing in large batches because it's really good. I'm not one to go into detail about how I created a mix or what it tastes like. From the looks of it, it's pretty self explanatory. Fairly high percentage for me, but whateva.
I've also used CAP sweet strawberry in place of TFA strawberry at the same % with great results.
I name my juice by whatever band is playing in the back ground at the time, so Good Throb it is.
Trying to make a mostly fruit mixture with a hint of cream / creamy mouth feel

After shaking it tastes pretty good to me, but I could probably up the strawberries another 1% each. It's sweet on it's own which is nice. I feel like it needs adjustment or something to help it out a little. It doesn't stand out yet.
I was also contemplating adding koolada, and depending how the I feel about the cream later I might add a little coconut. Input / tips welcome!
I've found TFA Sweet Cream to work well with fruits at about 1-2%
Dang, I don't have that. Do you know if Bavarian cream (tfa)would work?
Frosted
OoO Speckled Flakes 6%
TFA Kettle Corn 1.5%

So yeah, this is my version of frosted flakes... and It's basically cornflakes in lightly sweetened cereal milk. It's flakier than a bowl of milk. The speckled flakes is a light flavor and I didn't want to ruin the beautiful exhale on this with overpowering dairy notes, so I kept it light. It has enough flavor but not too much flavor in the sense that, you keep vaping it to get more of that beautiful exhale.
I keep wanting to make it "crunchier" but I like how I keep coming back for more. If it was any richer it might not be a repetitive vape like it is now. And OoO takes a good bit to steep, so make a bunch to allow time to steep. If you want it sweeter up the meringue or add sucralose.

Thanks for the recipe! Will definitely mix this up in the future; however, I will replace TFA Watermelon with LA Watermelon--tastes much more like watermelon to me than TFA's version.
Ok so I am new to the DIY ejuice and new to vaping, ive made a few recipes so far that have been soso but I was mostly just messing around trying the flavors I bought, anyways this happened.

I am pretty stoked about this one. It's a nice refreshing mint julep. It seems like a lot of bourbon, but, for me, it just wasn't there at 5 and 10 percent. 15% is where the bourbon came out and was more pronounced.
The Spearmint and Koolada give it a nice cool finish and it definitely smells like a mint julep.

This will produce 30ml of a 4mg ejuice solution. The flavor is near perfect, if you dont believe me, compare the actual drink to the ejuice.
Steeping Steps:
• Microwave for 12 seconds with the cap off
• Seal the cap, shake very thoroughly (I use a powerdrill and some rubber bands to shake my juice)
• Leave in a bowl of HOT water for an hour or two.
• Shake again before using
Obviously for best results you should shake the bottle daily for a week after repeating the above steps.
#23
Joy FA @ 1.4% Biscuit INW @ 0.2% Meringue FA @ 1% Strawberry TFA @ 3%
Shake n vape, i like this at 30/70. Sorta like some strawberry shortcake of funnel cake. Pretty darn delicious even at the super low flavoring.
I'm going to try this if only to find out what Joy at 1.4% is like!
Edit:
Okay, tried it. 70% VG @ ~50W on a Velocity. As a shake and vape it isn't working out for me. I'm getting meringue with wine and just a hint of sweaty socks. As you point out, there is a surprisingly large impact for such a small amount of flavor here. Caveat: I'm a supertaster. Many recipes people love taste weird to me. I think the maltol in the Starwberry is combing poorly with the Joy. I've gotten that wine/sweaty socks problem with similar strawberry combinations.
Vaping this at the moment.
Really nice level of flavouring - flavour not too strong or weak, easily ADV'able.
Didn't work as a shake and vape for my tastes, really started to shine after about week though.
Moderate level of sweet fresh strawberries with a low background note of fried bread/donut/lightly toasted bread. I might try adding 0.25% of FA Torrone to this to see if it adds some of that powdered sugar effect.
Stream O'Cream (Strawberry cream and orange cream enhaced with menthol).
- Strawberry ripe TFA 7%
- Bavarian cream TFA 3%
- Orange cream TFA 5%
- Menthol (any vendor) 1-2% (depending how cool you want it to be)
Steep 2-3 weeks to get the flavorings mold together. Does not need breathing but warm bath can make steeping bit faster. Remember to shake well.
Flavor profile is fruity ice cream. Very sweet, but delicious after steeping it right.
Tried a friend's juice, got inspired. This is my first iteration and it could use a little something to smooth it out.
http://tjek.nu/r/3cm5
Give it a shot and let me know what you think.
Here's something that I whipped up last week. I'm a big fan of pears and creams. So this has been marinating in my mind for a while.
Pearrific
- TPA Vanilla Bean Ice Cream - 6%
- TPA Pear - 5%
- Capella Honeydew Melon - 3%
- TPA Vanilla Swirl - 2%
- TPA Honeydew - 1.8%
- TPA Cotton Candy - 1.6%
- TPA Sweetener [optional] - 0.4%
And there you go. A delicious and refreshing pear vape with a creamy vanilla undertone. On the inhale, you get the crisp and fresh taste of pear followed by a rich honeydew. On the exhale, there's a smooth vanilla ice cream aftertaste that lingers in the air. It's great as a shake 'n vape. But the cream becomes much more prominent after it steeps for 4 - 5 days. The sweetener is totally optional but if you prefer those premium tasting juices, add a tiny bit and see how you like it.
This is one of my favorite mixes. Absinthe and Anise is loud in the beginning, but it calms down after a couple weeks. This mix comes together after 3 weeks and is best after a month.

Another one of my favorites. A fruity creamy cookie mix with a little yogurt tang.

It taste like Cinnamon Roll to me... For a stronger Cinnamon note increase the FLV Cinnamon to .5%. Steep a month for the honey to settle down.

I've been chasing a decent banana yogurt for a while now and I think I found it:
Bavarian Cream (TPA) @ 2%
Greek Yogurt (TPA) @ 7%
Marshmallow (TPA) @ 2%
Meringue (FA) @ 2%
Ripe Banana (TPA) @ 3%
I'm in love with this recipe at the moment, but will experiment more. I'd like to know how it will taste with 1 - 2% orange cream thrown into the mix.
Steeping will be required for the yogurt to come out and play
Just made my recipe public. Decided I should post it here.
Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cereal Bar
4% Cinnamon Danish Swirl (CAP)
5% DX Bavarian Cream (TPA)
2% DX Sweet Cream (TPA)
4% Graham Cracker (CAP)
1% Ethyl Maltol 10%
Formulated after seeing a Sugar Bear clone. Was going with "Cinnamon danish washed down with a sip of milk", but a friend tried it and told me it tastes like those old General Mills Cinnamon Toast Crunch ceral bars. The creams really give it that sweet creamy glazed element, and the rest just really helps bring through the cinnamon flavors it needs. Maybe not as crunchy as cereal, but the flavor is spot on.
After mixing for months now, this is the first recipe I've made that I'm really enjoying. It's unique in the sense that i havent seen anyone attempt this, but it takes heavy inspiration from a Blue Voodoo clone and Fresh03's yogurt recipes.

Blue Raspberry Yogurt
.
TFA Greek Yogurt @ 7%
INW Raspberry @ 0.75%
TFA Juicy Peach @ 5%
FW Blueberry @ 4%
TFA Bavarian Cream @ 2%
TFA Whipped Cream @ 1.5%
I figure you can sub for whatever blueberry you want at a similar percentage, or sub the INW Raspberry for TFA Raspberry Sweet at a much higher percentage (maybe 3%-5%) because the INW is super potent. It's not too sweet at the moment, so adding 1% EM 10% may help with that.
Hope someone finds this enjoyable.

1% CAP Sweet Cream
3% flv Blueberry Muffin
1.5% fa Bilberry
1% fw Tres Leches
It's quite good. I've had a hard time balancing blueberry in recipes--it tends to fade out or be overcome by other flavors IME. But it's definitely present here, and after a week, the milky cake flavor comes together. When I make it again I'll be adding a bit of FA Lemon Sicily.
Hey dude, recipe looks great. How long to age? Or is it a s&v?

I don't even know what that means... Did I do something wrong? If I have, I apologize.

Actually this is not a clone, this is somthing i started with, but came to completely different taste. It smells and tastes really great after 10 days steeping. Just try it and you will not regret it.
