Cinnamon Vanilla Danish - my take on Vanilla Sin
submitted over 9 years ago by Rogue_Wave454Mixologist

I wanted something a little different than what i usually vape, so i decided i would try my hand working with cinnamon. We sold a pretty decent vanilla cinnamon juice at the store i used to work at, but I wasn't ever blown away by it.

Cinnamon Vanilla Danish

  • 5.0% Cinnamon Danish Swirl (CAP)
  • 1.5% Vanilla Swirl (TPA)
  • 1.5% French Vanilla (CAP)
  • 1.2% Ethyl Maltol (TPA)
  • 0.8% Joy (FA)

The cinnamon danish is strong at first, but levels out after a few days. I was going for soft vanilla backing notes rather than have it pop out. I find that french vanilla sits in the background and rounds off the danish.

Joy works really well in this recipe to add that extra sweet note that works so well in bakery type recipes.

To me it's not overpoweringly sweet like the store bough juice, but packs just as much flavor

5% CDS way too much for my taste. I never push CDS over 3% no matter what. Cinnamon Roll by OoO is the way to go.

Agreed. 3- 4% is max for me.

Thanks for the share. I have made something similar. I agree on the Cap it mellows and becomes great. I like some LA CC icing and or some apple for a fritter for some diff versions of this recipe. Put this in the monthly recipe thread so it can be archived for posterity. Monthly Recipes Thread

Glad to see that flavor note on French vanilla. I'll be using it on my next version of cupcake of doom to get a better vanilla flavor
