Need more sugary glaze for my donut

Recipe as is first.

Cake batter cap 1.5%

Joy fa 1%

Glazed donut cap 7%

So far it taste like a donut. But the one your grandma likes that's just dough that's only eatible by dunking in coffee. So how can I get that sugar glazed like a donut hole. Currently have sucralose em and obviously joy. Any tips before I just fumble and get more confused ?

I like to use meringue at >1 for a frosted sugar.

LA cream cheese icing at 1.5%

FA Meringue at 1%

Consider even TFA Brown Sugar at %1

I would try TFA Brown Sugar as someone else suggested.

Also, I keep reading your title as "need more surgery glaze". I know that's not helpful, but it is amusing.

For a doughy taste that resembles donuts I love to use INW biscuit around .6%. Thanks to Wayne I discovered this gem of a flavoring.

You could try upping joy to 2%, the sugary flavor comes out at higher percentages.(be warned, the yeast also comes out, so if you want more yeast and glaze, this is the solution)

FA meringue, INW marzipan, or TFA belgian waffle(if you want it maple glazed) would all work as glaze flavors.

Has anyone else got a Play-Doh taste from CAP Glazed Donut? I haven't used it since my first time... was such a disappointment!

yup, its pretty nasty stuff. I'm not sure how people can stand it. It tastes and smells nothing like a donut.

how did you mix it? it went away in mine. all i got was maybe a doughy taste and some glaze from it.

At 3% I get an unfrosted freshly-fried donut. at 4% I get Playdough. At 7%, like his recipe calls for, I can't imagine. I haven't tested higher than 5%.

Maybe try a little bit of Inawara Biscuit? It really sweetened up one of my peppermint vapes.

Try adding some marshmallow to it. I added some marshmallow to the bronuts recipe and it gave it nice frosting on top flavor.
