Another obligatory thank you post (recipe at the end)
submitted almost 10 years ago by juggernaut308

Just wanted to stop in and say thank you to the mods and members real fast. I still think this is the best vaping community anywhere. Thanks to this sub I have 5 or 6 really good flavors that I'm pretty proud of that I've began selling to a few people that I've converted over to vaping, it's made my diy hobby almost pay for itself and allows me to help people vape good flavors without them spending $20 on a 30ml bottle of sweetener with a little VG.

Mods, you guys do a great job and you should know that your time and efforts do not go unappreciated. You guys are awesome and it seems like you've all been really busting your asses on this sub lately. Thank you all for that.

Everybody else that's ever involved yourselves in this community even a little bit, thank you all. I find myself digging through several year old posts trying to find percentages for certain flavors, or to see if a recipe has been made already. This sub is a great resource and it's made better by the large archive of user submitted content.

Now that that's over, here's my final recipe for raspberry cheesecake, it needs a name still.

Raspberry (caps) 6%
Vanilla bean ice cream (tfa) 4%
Bavarian cream dx (tfa) 2%
Cheesecake (graham crust) (tfa) (2%)
Apple pie (tfa) (1%)
Strawberry (tfa) (1%)
Dragon fruit (tfa) (1%)

Sweeten to taste, although I don't think it needs any.

It tastes like a raspberry cheesecake with some vanilla ice cream on the side. The raspberry isn't very prominent without it being at 6% and even then it's kind of weak without the tfa strawberry and the dragon fruit backing up the fruity notes. Tfa apple pie is kind of an oddball flavor to be in this recipe, but it doesn't taste the same without it. In small percentages I can't taste the apple at all in the apple pie, all I taste is pie crust, I've added it to the recipe to help accentuate the graham cracker crust. The vanilla bean ice cream adds the ice cream taste and the bavarian Cream kind of ties it all together, it can be subbed for sweet cream. Hope somebody can get some use out of this recipe!

I'm curious if there would be a good replacement for the VBIC. That's all that I don't have, and I am not a fan of Cap NY Cheesecake.

Good question, I would say maybe sweet cream and vanillin or vanilla swirl?

Recommend checking out TPA vanilla swirl. It's a pretty decent replacement, although to be honest nothing can really replicate the buttery goodness that is diacetyl.

To make my job easier when I'm launched, please get in the habit of flairing your posts. If you can't find a flair that applies, please let /u/skiddlzninja[1] honey badger know so it can be remedied. Thank you.

Ugh, I hate flair, so much. Any particular reason we're going to flairing everything?

Edit: nevermind, just saw the posts about the flair bot... well its been fun guys, I'll be back once that whole situation sorts itself out.
