There is a division of the govt that deals with weights and measurements to protect consumers from these kinds of practices. Sounds like MF may be breaking the law. G
I came here to mention this, and yes, you are correct; MF is breaking FEDERAL law.
If it's true, that's pretty outrageous for a company to say: "ok ok, you caught us, we'll throw a little extra your way if we have it, but we're going to keep screwing everyone else".
I love medicine flower so much, but it's already expensive as it is.
I thought those 15 mls were running out fast.
I'be personally noticed that any juice, flavoring, ingrediens for diy e-juice that comes in a bottle that is not transparent, comes in short. Also the 15 ml bottles with the glass drippers always have less juice than bottles with the squeeze tops because the displacement caused by the glass pippette.
Hell I tried out that churro flavor juice last week that comes in the little teal paper carton (same company that does the milk flavor in the little milk carton). The bottle was white and completly opaque, can't even see how much juice you have left (which is shitty), and when brand new there was 22ml of juice in a 30ml bottle for a premium e-liquid...
The corners being cut all over the flavor and
I sell hundreds of bottles of churrios and I have never seen them have a short bottle, in fact a bottle of churrios wont fit into our 30 ml plastic bottles. You must have got one that had some juice leak out or something. Suicide bunny on the other hand had been sending us shorted bottles for months before we stopped carrying it.
Sounds like they are measuring by weight and not volume with an incorrect ml to gram calculation.
This isn't it. There bottles just hold a max of 15ml without dropper (I purchased 1500 similar at one point and had to pitch them).
So all they need do is relabel their bottles as, say, 12ml and edit the website?
The longer they leave it, the greater the credibility hit.
Medicine Flower has been in business since 1985, I doubt they are concerned about this minor inconvenience.
They also to not cater to vapers and after discussions with the owner over a year ago, actually preferred that their product not be associated with ECIGs.
if they are charging 22$ a bottle and only giving 12ml, cheeky swines are ripping off the paying customer to the tune of 4.4$ per bottle, totally unacceptable and should be held accountable. despicable business practice, if it dont fit the bottle then do the honorable thing and buy new bigger bottles !
I suppose that explains the 3 samples of raspberry they sent me with my $300 order.
P.S notes coming soon ;)
Ooooh, more notes :D I'm curious how many are good. Those I know that have tried them hasn't had one flavor they didn't think was superior... Which pains me, because I want to try them, but right now I don't want to do business with them :P
Are the 30ml bottles also short? I'm surprised with the amount of business they do, you would figure this issue would of been resolved by now.
I haven't heard about their 30ml bottles, but I would think they suffer from exactly the same issue, due to the way they fill... Apparently they use weight and not volume, but they didn't take weight per ml into account, so there's almost certainly always less.
I have bought a lot of "premium" juice that was short of the listed amount. The last was 2 30ml bottles that only had 12.5 and 13.25 in them. That's crazy to rip people of that way when juice can cost up to $1 a ml.
C, mon lol, a 30 ml bottle had only 12.5 ml of juice , that is mind boggling .
I think he's full of it. A 30ml that only had about 13ml in it would be half-full. I don't think any vendor would try to be that blatantly shitty. There's no way you'd convince someone that a half-empty bottle was a full 30ml.
I guess I might care more about this if their flavors weren't super concentrated and also of varying potencies. Even with the misleading info the flavors are still worth it IMO. Short me a few mL on vanilla tho and I might make a stink but the blueberry I got will probably last me until I die so not sure I care. Transparency is always nice. Especially if you are running something larger than a diy operation.
What % do you use for stand alone blueberry, I got 6 of their flavors and I am having trouble pinpointing this one.
Thanks!
I don't really use it standalone tbh have only combined it with FW Blueberry to give it a more 'fresh blueberry' edge. about 0.5% of a 10% dilution works well for me.
Is medicine flower worth it? Holy shit that stuff is expensive
Medicine Flower just posted this on ELR's facebook page (direct link to the facebook post here).
Basically they're trying to come up with a satisfactory solution to this :)
Any update on this? I sent them an email a while back, haven't heard anything. I want to place another order but not get shorted.
To make my job easier when I'm launched, please get in the habit of flairing your posts. If you can't find a flair that applies, please let /u/skiddlzninja know so it can be remedied. Thank you.
/u/NotCharlesManson are you as irritated as I am? I was just about to place another order with them. The wild rasp, blueberry, peach and white cherry are all fucking phenomenal single flavors at 1%, though the chocolates (while good I think) need help.
Honestly? I don't have much of an input at this point. A kind soul sent me their flavors last month, and I'm just now getting used to them to the point where I'm probably going to make an order. I think it's very shady on their part, and I really hope they sort it out. I'm sure it can be taxing as a business to see this huge influx of orders. I know I wouldn't want to take that on. But that's just it; they're a business. They should make it right for their user base, and I'm sure they will. The average user may get screwed over at the moment, which won't look good on them. But I think they'll take this huge mistake into heavy consideration and come back with something to draw even more customers that they may have lost due to this.
