Happy Holidays<3 Here's ANOTHER Strawberry Milk, for those less akin to TFA's Strawberry. I call it: Ketchup Milk

After trying Captivape's Strawberry Milk, I knew I NEEDED to come up with something similar. For those of you who haven't tried it, it's a (99% sure) Sweet Strawberry based Strawberry Cream mix, with no custard notes; but, rather, a smooth and very sweet, slightly grainy, cream. It wasn't easy to tackle this but I think after about a couple months and 50+ variations, I feel comfortable enough to release a very versatile strawberry milk.

So, I'm going to break down the conception of the cream aspect, the strawberry is very straight forward.

First, here's the recipe:

Katchup Milk NOT DIKETONE FREE

Capella Sweet Strawberry: 6-10% (Versatile, I prefer 8%)
Cream Base: 5-10% (this is the versatile part, I prefer 6% myself)
Sweetener (TFA): 1-3% or Super Sweet (CAP): 0.25-0.5% (Captivape-like would be around 0.5% Super Sweet)

The sweetener is necessary here for what I was going for; but, I'm sure some will prefer it without.

The Cream Base

The cream base is a 1:1:1 ratio of: TFA Hazelnut, TFA Marshmallow, and TFA Cheesecake Graham Crust

TFA Hazelnut: adds a wonderful depth to the cream. It has caramelic, maple, and dairy nuances that round out the cream. This is not replaceable (except maybe the DX version)
TFA Marshmallow: This adds the body and mouthfeel of the cream. If you are not a fan of this flavor, or are of the belief that it mutes mixes (it can, but it just works here) then you can remove it, lower it, or replace it with Toasted Marshmallow, or use a different marshmallow.
TFA Cheesecake Graham Crust: This adds the main dairy notes in the mix. It does take a few days to relax and blend with the other cream notes, but afterwards it's amazing. IT does have some slightly "spoiled" milk notes immediately after mixing, but those top notes go away pretty quickly.

I find the mix enjoyable as a shake and vape, but exponentially better after a few days steep.

The Versatility

Want more strawberry? Up the Sweet Strawberry to 10% and drop the cream base to 4 or 5%.

Want more cream? Go with 9% cream base and 7% strawberry.

Want to try something experimental that I was playing with along the way? Add 1% TFA Lucky Leprauchan for increased grain note on the cream, it works very well but I think mutes over time.

Or, add 2% Strawberry Ripe for a boost to the strawberry aspect using a different and very complimenting strawberry.

Or, replace Sweet Strawberry all together with Strawberry Ripe at the same percentage. Also, a very good mix, and more like Captivape's Strawberry Cereal.

It really is THAT versatile, I promise. My personal preference for this mix as noted above is 8% CAP SS, 6% Cream Base, 2% Sucralose.

EDIT: Okay so in my mind the versatile part is the fact that you can mix up the cream base and then mix the strawberry and cream together at such a wide range of percentages and have it still taste great. A non versatile recipe would be one that doesn't allow for a lot of changes, or only tastes best at certain percentages. Gonna leave the section there but I guess I am more just informing people of what most already know. But, some don't. Please, enjoy my friends. Happy holidays. Happy DIY'ing <3

I feel like FW Hazelnut is better than TFA but its more APish so would that even work? I was going to try it at a 1:2:2 ratio maybe

Never been a fan of FW hazelnut. Do your thing though. I guess this could have just been a PSA of the fact that marshmallow hazelnut and cheesecake graham make a great milk flavor.

Not to be a dick but every Strawberry Milk or similarly simple recipe is pretty versatile isn't it? Want less cream use less cream, want more strawberry use more strawberry, don't like this strawberry use another one...

That's not what I meant, it's a good post. It's just the versatility part that I thought is not really particular to this recipe imo.

I'd give it a try but I don't have TFA Hazelnut, is it similar to FW? I'll have to use that instead (and some other strawberry because I don't have CAP's).

Since OP said 6% of the cream base ideal and there's 3 ingredients, you could try 2% of each of the ingredients listed there and then just try winging it if you'd prefer more or less cream without doing extra math.

It is in percentages but I guess I could have done the math for you.

1:1:1 ratio means 6% cream base would be 2%/2%/2%. 9% cream base would be 3%/3%/3% so on and so forth.

The beauty of the recipe is it's versatility and that is diminished if I just give you a set percentage to mix it at.

Yeah, TFA Lucky Leprechaun will mute fairly quick. You have to really use with with just Cream types instead of Fruits for it to stick around.

Stepped it for 48 hours along with a hot bath. I have mixed feelings about this juice. At lower wattages, you can taste the strawberry and milk, but the strawberry doesn't taste like a strawberry milk sort of strawberry. It tastes fresher. If you're going for a candy-like strawberry similar to those bottled strawberry milks, perhaps tpa strawberry ripe would work better.

If vaped at higher wattages, the sucralose just overpowers everything else. It feels like vaping sweet air, with a creamy background. All in all, it's a pretty decent juice.

I wasn't necessarily going for a quik-type strawberry milk. But, thank you for the feedback.

I did say some will prefer it w/out the sucralose though. It just depends on how you vape and how sweet you like your mixes.

What other strawberry milk is there besides nesquik? Cause the fresh strawberry taste doesn't really go well with sucralose and the creamy base.

Some people have less affinity for strawberry, try dropping the creams to 1% each and doing 6% Sweet Strawberry and 3% Strawberry Ripe if you have it
