Sooo this is my first public recipe, and I wanted it to be a good one. I know everyone was/is on a looper craze and I was sick of paying $22 for a 30ml bottle so I figured why the hell not.
The percentages are weird, I know. But in due time you will realize its all for a reason.
I made sure that with this recipe the berry crunch wouldn't over power the fruit circle w/milk so I found the sweet spot, also added the greek yogurt to give it a bit of the milky flavor it was lacking, and topped it off with meringue and vanilla swirl to give it that waxy powdery taste/vibe.
Its a great shake and vape, but it gets better after 3-5 days.
For those who don't want to visit the link:
- Berry Crunch (TPA) 2.85%
- Fruit Circle with Milk (TPA) 6.66%
- Greek Yogurt (TPA) 3.35%
- Meringue (FA) 0.6%
- Vanilla Swirl (TPA) 0.9%
Fruit Circles with Milk is metal as fuck.
Haha, when I put that in I was like no fucking way. But hey, the number of the beast is always good in my books ;)
Hope everyone enjoys this as much as I've been. It's almost looper, but everyone's taste is subjective.
Hail Satan.
What made you arrive at those percentages?
As stated above, when I was starting out with this recipe I was going by the mL. Liked what I had, but felt it was lacking in areas, so went to my notes, and dripped a few drops of what it needed and that's how they came out. I don't have a working scale right now, so that's also why haha.
Alright. This is fucking fantastic. Props, duder. Only slight criticism here (because if we post a recipe, we should be able to handle constructive criticism like big boys). This is just first impressions..it may change after a few days.
The FCw/M seems to drown out the Berry Crunch and Meringue a bit too much for me. I'll try taking the FCM down to 4.5% and bring the Meringue up to 1.25%. Meringue has always seemed like the frosting on Froot Loops to me, and some cereal recipes I have are all using around 1-1.5% Meringue and it works fantastic there. Everything else seems to be where it needs to be at, or at least close to it for now. I love the addition of Greek Yogurt to this profile, as played out as Froot Loops has been. It breathes some new life into it, at least for me.
My only additions to this might be .3% FA Vienna Cream to help bring out the creaminess of Greek Yogurt and calm the citrus notes from FCM down just a bit. My v2 for this as of right now would be:
4.5% TFA Fruit Circles w/ Milk
2.85% TFA Berry Crunch
3.35% TFA Greek Yogurt
1.25% FA Meringue
.9% TFA Vanilla Swirl
.3% FA Vienna Cream
^Sorry ^for ^removing ^the ^Dark ^Lord ^percentage.
Thanks for the tips NCM. I'll give this a try a little later. Also, as I said give it some time to settle. Glad you like it man, feels good to see this. I'll be sure to post my original stuff here in the near future. ;) can't wait to unleash my corn pops recipe!
Please do! Obviously you're into cereal stuff. Be sure to put Baker's Flavors' Cereal on your list. It reminds me of Grape Nuts cereal a bit. Super potent, at about 2 drops per 15ml.
Oh damn I'll be sure to do that. Always looking to add new stuff to the everlasting list haha. Maybe throw in some AP and milky stuff to give it a sweat raisin bran vibe. Like I said, I'm almost 100% on my corn pops recipe, and once it's there I'll be sure to put it up here. I'm pretty proud of it so far. Needs a little more testing though.
fantastic, thanks, will check it
Whoa, those are some weird percentages. Thanks for sharing.
Props for adding it to elr. #MakeELRGreatAgain
No prob man, didn't know it was lagging? Did I miss something. I did notice someone already adapted it, and reworked it to their liking, and 5 starred it. Is this the issue at hand lol
no he means the thousands upon thousands of shit-recipes, unreviewed shit, 20% cheesecake shit, 5% bergamot shit, 10% fa hypnotic mist shit, 10% regular fruit circles shit, etc. etc.
Anyone know if I can sub out tfa Greek yogurt for cap creamy yogurt or fw yogurt?
another looper clone to test! thanks
No problem, let me know how you like out!
I just mixed the 2 recipes, crossed fingers :) Btw do you think we will ever get to find a real clone of looper?
Haha glad you're finally mixing it up now. I'm not sure if we'll ever get close, but I actually like this version a lot more. It's not as harsh as it is after it's steeped for a while like looper really is from the get go. It's been so long since I've got juice from a store now, it's just lost its touch after I started making my own.
:( I added the [Clone Recipe] Flair for this purpose
Sorry skiddz, I thought I hit that one. Guess it was just recipe. Once I get back on my computer I can change it.
edit: fixed it for ya bud! forgive my blindness haha
Thank you for flairing either way, once I get control of the diy ejuice bot account it'll run for about a month just telling people to flair their posts. Then fully operational after that.
Hey man I'm fairly new to DIY. I have a scale so that makes life easy - every mix I've made has been a win for me since I'm picking flavors that I have always loved
I always loved looper but I feel the other clones have too many flavors going on and it turned me off since I'm a newb. Now I see your recipe with only 5 flavors and it makes me want to bust a nut into my juice with excitement.
My only question is - how close is this to looper really?
And ok I lied another question - do you like this flavor as your own concoction on its own ? Without even comparing to looper ?
Welcome to the club man!
Glad my recipe has you in such excitement haha, I think it's pretty damn close to looper. The last time I had it the taste stuck with me. I'd like to do a side by side when I get a chance though. But till I have some extra money this is based on memory, and my own opinion. With that said, I love this juice as my own. I've been vaping it on and off for about 3 months now and it's just something I'll always keep in my rotation.
Give it a try, and let me know what you think!
