Weekly 'Suggest a Recipe for my Flavors' Thread - Week of December 18, 2015
submitted almost 10 years ago by AutoModerator

Got a bunch of flavors but not sure how to make them work together? Post your list here, and our team of semi-professional mixologists will make suggestions for you! If you are impatient and want to do this on your own, here are a couple of good links:

  • /u/daath has a nice website that has this functionality, but you will need to register to make it work. It is not very intuitive but if you work with it you can input your flavors and get a list of recipes that you can make. IMO this is the better site if you have the patience to make it work for you. Edit2: to get this to work, first set up an account. Then add your flavors to the stash (under my page / my flavor stash). hit save. Then go back to the front page and click the link next to the search field, "Search by flavor stash". You can select a couple of your flavors and recipes that have those will pop up.
  • This site has a nice big search button with just what you're looking for.

Happy Mixing!

Some ideas:
Chai, maple syrup and whipped cream. It'd be super sweet but yummy.
Jamaican Rum and root beer if you have it. First time I drank Jamaican Rum was with Root beer and it was awesome sauce.
Hazelnut, gingerbread, and toasted marshmallow.
Blueberry, blueberry wild, and melon.

Thank you! The I tried all of them, except the one with the rum. Mmmh, yummy stuff. I will definitely experiment more with chai and whipped cream.

try some Maple Syrup with Pecans, and either whipped cream or Toasted Marshmallow or a combo of both to sweeten it up. I love candied nuts

Yes! Maple syrup, toasted marshmellows and pecans. Why haven't i thought about that before? I added brown sugar and a drop or two of TFA's caramel cappuccino. Thanks for the suggestion!

This is a combo I never ever would have thought about. And I was sceptical at first. But actually it works. I have to play around with the percentages a bit more, but this is good. Thanks!

Banana cream and dragonfruit is nice! More banana than dragonfruit. Dragonfruit makes the banana cream pop for me!

Thanks! What percentages did you mix at?

I haven't tried these two by themselves, but you could probably do something like 7% bc and 5% df. I should give these a try though by themselves... The more I think about it the better it sounds :)

I'm pretty new to mixing and I'm really wanting to make a nice bakery flavor. I loved botboy's Awesome Apple Pie. One of my favorite flavors is Sloth Sauce's Muffin Tops. It's a simple buttery muffin top with a hint of cinnamon. I know I definitely want to use FLV Rich cinnamon but I'm not sure how to nail the rest and what % I need to use. Here's what I have:

(TPA)

Apple Pie

Pear

Bavarian Cream

Cheesecake (Graham Crust)

Coconut Extra

Cotton Candy (EM)

Graham Cracker (Clear)

Marshmallow

Pie Crust

Ripe Banana

Strawberry (Ripe)

Sweet Cream

Vanilla Bean Ice Cream

Vanilla Swirl

White Chocolate

(FA)

Apple Pie

Cookie

Caramel

Fuji

Joy

Liquid Amber

Meringue

────────

(FW) Cake (Yellow)

(INW) Biscuit

(Cap) Chocolate Glazed Doughnut

Just started DIY, my kit came with the following flavors:

  • Watermelon (TPA)
  • Strawberry (TPA)
  • Cotton Candy (TPA)
  • Berry Crunch (TPA)
  • Vanilla Bean Ice Cream (FW) ((they were sold out of TPA VBIC))

Already have been using the Strawberry & VBIC to make some Mustard Milk, came out pretty good. Been mixing different variations of CC and Strawberry/Watermelon

Kinda upset about the Berry Crunch, doesn't taste that good OR smell that good either. (tried it with some VBIC @ 1%)

Help? Any ideas for recipes? Looking for some new flavors too, maybe 2-3 more, so a recipe that I don't have all the flavors for is cool too. Thanks y'all

Here are my flavours:

Vapable Pear Drops Perfumers apprentice Strawberry PA Cherry Extract Flavour West Kiwi (does NOT taste like kiwi!) PA Strawberry (Ripe) Flavour West Watermelon (Natural) Flavour West Sweetener (Sucralose)

I have a kinda sweet tooth. Bought strawberry ripe watermelon and kiwi to try and replicate Twelve Monkeys Kanzi but the kiwi is pretty awful...

Any ideas?

  • RY4 Double (TPA)
  • Bavarian Creme (TPA)
  • Black Honey (TPA)
  • Honesuckle (TPA)
  • Hazelnut (TPA)

It's not much to work with, but I'd like what I could add in my next order so I can do more stuff!

I plan on buying Gold Ducat (INW) and Red Oak (TFA), mainly looking for tobacco flavors.
