Announcement: New Verified Vendors List
submitted almost 10 years ago by kirktBring on the Diacetyl, baby

Verified Vendors List wiki page

How to get on the verified vendors list:

  1. Have (or work for) a DIY-eJuice related business

  2. Send an email (not modmail):
    a. to: diyejuicemods@gmail.com
    b. from: your company's official email
    c. include: Brief intro
    d. Copy the text below and past into your email:
    | Vendor | Website | /u/Username | Nic | VG/PG | Supplies | CAP | FA | FLV | FW | HS | INW | LA | MF | NF | TFA | Premix | Link | Ships to |
    e. Leave the piping symbols "|" in place
    f. Replace the first three fields with vendor name, website, and reddit username
    g. If you carry nic base, replace the text "nic" with a single Y. If not, erase just the three letters "nic"
    h. Repeat for fields up through Premix
    i. Leave the text "Link" alone
    j. for "Ships to" replace with USA, Eur, Can, Aus, etc. Please use abbreviations where possible.
    h.Hit Send

  3. Message the mods (bottom of sidebar) and ask us to check the gmail account. We will not be checking this regularly; without this step nothing further will occur.

  4. Application indicates your acknowledgement that a vendor review post will be generated. We are NOT responsible for the contents of that post, nor will we remove any negative reviews. You are however permitted to respond to any comments. The post will be linked in the wiki and be open to comments for 6 months.

  5. Failure to follow these instructions will result in your request being ignored. This is free advertising for YOUR business; please do not ask us do your work for you.

  6. Once you have received verification that your info has been posted, please check the wiki page to verify that the info is correct.

From this point forward -
###Only Verified Vendors will be permitted to post specials / sales / promos etc.
Being a VV does not give you carte blanche to post these items either; posts must still get mod approval. If you are a vendor but not on the VV list, you are still welcome to participate in any other aspect of this subreddit.

First vendor: Gremlin DIY. Thanks for following instructions! Vendor review is now live as well.

Thanks. FWIW it was not my idea, but I thought it was a great one and borrowed it.

Hey...

So it's likely a result of me being on an idiotic resolution of 1366x768, but this is happening.

Also, thanks for doing this. I think a vendor wiki is a great idea.

I get the same effect. I have to decrease screen magnification to get the right columns to fit. Limitations of the table markdown format and my desire to get all those columns included.

Does it make that one little nerve at the corner of your eye twitch ever so slightly?

^^^^good.

by skiddlzninjaalmost 10 years agoThat one moderator. You know, the honey guy.

Should we also post this to ecig_vendors? Or get the mods there to post it?

You can let them know about it. They are welcome to link to our wiki page.

Great idea! Thanks a bunch for this as I know it will save me some money, and will help build and strengthen the community and some great vendors.

Just a question, why the 6 month time limit on the review post?

Any reddit post can only be open for comments for 6 months. Reddit limitation, not ours.

Ahhh, thanks!

I'm assuming the vendor would start the process over if they still wanted a review thread for their business?

We'll see what happens six months from now. The person who recommended the VV list said they repost review threads every 6 months. It seems to me that unless things change drastically with a business, one post should suffice.
