Had they same exact problem with a number of item's from BCV, and also quite a few other company's that re bottle. From this I learned stick with ordering from manufacturer's as much as possible. BCV is a great fast shipping company, but just this week I bought INW lemon mix in a bigger bottle. It tasted nothing like what I got from them in a INW bottle a month prior. I also learned that many re bottling company's dilute 10-30%. I am in no way accusing BCV of this, just making other aware that this happens. I give they OP credit for understanding the problem, and working towards a solution. Just to get an understanding how much these company's make, nicotine river sells Flavourart flavors including tobacco's "250ml" for under $20 VS BCV 120ml for $19. That's a pretty big difference!
Yeah, who knows for sure what is up. I do know I have wasted a lot of time and VG because of it. I had a really good recipe for adding a nice Milk flavor and enhancing the TFA LL. I edited it because of thinking my recipe was bad. I hope I still have the original written down somewhere.
I am suspecting the same kinda thing with FW Cinnamon Roll. The first 10ml bottle I got back at the end of Sept from them was great. Just got a new 30ml bottle and is it cloudy looking. If I remember correctly, the first bottle was dark, but not cloudy. I have also used it in 2 recipes and can barely taste it.
Yeah man flavor inconsistency is something I've really been looking into. Mainly because people will say my recipe sucks and that I suck, but really they're using a bad ingredient or two. Ordering Direct doesn't help too much either. There's still the same amount of inconsistency than with BCV or ECX. It's pretty annoying. I'm sure they would refund you though if you state your case. They're both cool peeps.
I suppose it could happen but i think BVC is knowledgeable enough to know while rebottling if a flavor is bad or not .
My Inawera Donald Bubblegum i just bought from them taste terrible and not like bubblegum at all but no way i am contacting them and saying what i think about it , just write it off as a loss .
The main reason is because it's very clear you can't return it and they would laugh at me if i said credit me or send me the other Classic bubblegum flavor by Inawera as i was sent the wrong one .
I was looking for the flavor that actually resembled bubble gum lol.
On another note , i was told the reason flavor company's rebottle is because the flavorings they order usually come in bulk containers , i don't think rebottling means more profitable but who knows for sure.
Very interested to see what happens since you said the flavor of the little green fellow was bad , since you have two samples you should know .
You are correct. They purchase bulk flavoring and have to re-bottle it. I couldn't imagine them making more of a profit that way due to having to buy their own bottles and pay people to fill them..
Why would they do it then? You don't think TFA gives a deals on bulk concentrate? BCV offers original bottles and repackaged on some concentrates. The original package is more expensive. Every few cents adds up. Why do you think they have a store for selling concentrates? You think they run it for charity?
BVC?? Its BCV, and how would BCV know if it is good or bad? You think they mix up their own recipes with every flavor they have in stock? It would take them a damn year to do that and by then something would go bad.
I bought two bottles of it from them so yeah I am asking them to check their supply. I am sure they have the same supply as August because no one else uses this flavor that I have seen.
Sure it says they cant accept returns, but they can at least fix the issue and offer me a small discount for later purchase. Any smart business will do that unless they want to loose customers.
Also, why else re-bottle if not for profit? Are you thinking?

Do you really think you have to make full recipes to know if a juice is bad or not lol , BVC knows their flavors , when you are in the flavor biz you tend to know how flavors are supposed to be and if they are bad or not , i mean , c, mon man , think .
Even DIY ers know exactly what their flavors taste like and how they should smell , you are talking about people who have been around flavoring every day for years so yes, they know .
Why rebottle if not for profit did you ask , that was explained above and confirmed by mmafighter .
Yeah, I am sure they mix every batch of every flavor daily to confirm the concentrates are good.
Amazing how my thread got derailed because of one non-opinionated statement about them re-bottling juice. Why do people get so butt-hurt when you post something they "think" is not true?
