ELR Forum users @Amy2, @JoJo, @quitter1, @DarthVapor, @Ken_O_Where built a list of recommended flavors from different vendors. It's the result of a long private thread where they debated which flavorings to recommend to help people choose the "right" flavors the first time.

Kudos to them! :)

I hope some of you will find it useful as well!

I like the click counters on the list. Similarly it may be helpful to use oldschool counters for viewing individual flavors

The counters is a feature of the forum software :) But you're right, it's pretty nifty!

It will help to give extra data for selecting flavors

Id just like to mention that i, Ken_O_Where, had very little to do with the list. The credit goes to the others as i got into the convo towards the end.

I think they did a great job choosing flavors for the fist time buyer. :)

Dragonfruit was there - Strawberry and Pear were just added!

Well..I guess that's what I get for hovering the sub all day.

This has to be the most useful thing I've see so far on this site. I already have a large amount of the flavors listed but there is still a larger amount I don't have. Thanks for all the hard work that went into making this.

Very cool. Thanks for helping with this and cross posting it here. I had thought about doing something like this recently but from the other direction. List of flavors followed by the most used / best vendor of that particular flavor (or maybe just my favorite). Immediately decided that everyone would disagree with 70% of it so I'll just keep typing "taste is subjective!". Thanks again daath!

Can I make an ELR feature request? There's probably a better place to do it but I'm lazy and prefer reddit.

I'd like to have a secondary "favorites" list - a "recipes to try" list.

Instead of filling up my "favorites" with stuff I haven't even tried, I'd like to have a more appropriate place to store stuff that interests me, but I don't have the ingredients or just don't want to mix it immediately.

At some point there will be folders, so you can organize your favorites (and recipes) :)

Looking forward to it!

Easy little workaround I use: as ELR sorts alphabetically I just seperate my recipes with a prefix. Eg, a. Strawberry & Cream for tested recipes, b. Custard for recipes I can try, and c. Peach for recipes I need concentrates for.

I had thought about this before. It would be a great idea, and be able to remove from 'waiting' list to either favorites or go away. It would be nice if you could mark which you had tried to help when you are looking for new ideas.

Thank you for this. I havent started mixing my own, but im about to pull the trigger on it. Just need to do a bit more research on how to get started then im in, and I've already found a flavor on this list that looks amazing.

Again, thank you!
