Hey guys I've been making my own juice for about 2 months now and all the vegetable glycerin I bought from TFA is all gone. I thought the glycerin I bought from TFA was very good, very high quality, but I thought I'd go a bit cheaper and bought a half gallon of some generic stuff off my friend. My friends juice I've noticed from having it a few times, always seemed to turn my coil wicks to shit in 3 days (usually it takes 1 or 2 weeks for me). So anyway I've been making my juice as usual with the same nicotine and capella flavoring as always when I notice my coils have gone to shit after just a few days. Is this a coincidence, or should I just toss this vegetable glycerin and get a new batch? If I should get new VG, where should I get it for a cheap but reliable product?
Note: I'm using Capella fruit flavors (strawberry, banana, green apple, apricot, blueberry) and Nude Nicotine 100 mg/ml diluted in VG.
like other people are saying, VG is so cheap its not worth bothering with cheap or unconfirmed brands. Essential Depot is awesome. here is 2 gallons of VG for 40$ with free US Shipping. If you make a lot of juice, search essential depot for their "Glycube"s. they are 4 gallons of VG and PG in any combination (EX: 3 gallons VG, 1 Gallon PG) for 50$ plus shipping (which is kindof expensive). If you take care of you VG and dont leave it open, it will stay good almost indefinitely. If you buy the two gallons, that means that 20mls of VG costs you $0.11 so its worth getting the "premium" brand because its so fucking cheap anyways
I just got 3 gallons of vg and a gallon of pg for $39 and $17 shipping. So $56 for 4 gallons. UPS is taking their sweet ass time delivering it though.
I work at UPS, and right now through the next month is the busiest part of the year. The shipping volume practically quintiples, so there are a lot of delays with processing and getting the shipments out.
Which brand is it?
No clue, he said it was good. It was a half empty gallon container of VG. Could it have been cut with something?
If it sat with the lid off it, it would have absorbed moisture. And that would be consistent with wrecked coils. Does it seem as thick as what you were using?
I had some VG before that just kill the taste. I was good than went bad it seems.. I don't know what happen.. how ever much flavor I put in.. I get same terrible taste. Not ever sure where it came form.. used to just buy VG by 100ml along with regular juice purchase.
