my fruit loops recipe: Loopy Morning
submitted almost 10 years ago by Weare177

Fruit Circles (TPA) 8% Berry Crunch (TPA) 3% Graham Cracker (TPA) 1% Fresh Cream (FA) 4% Dairy/Milk (TPA) 1% French Vanilla (TPA) 1.5%

i just made this recipe, its my first cereal recipe so im looking for some help. i chose fruit circles to be the main note of this to get the full fruit loops flavor then berry crunch to smooth it out a bit. the fresh cream, dairy, and french vanilla were used to give the milky flavor and give the juice a nice smooth vape. the dairy was the main key to round the flavors off. i used graham cracker to give it a bakeryish feel. the problem i ran into is the exhale, the inhale is the flavor i was aiming for, a little off though. the exhale however gives a weird almost waxy aftertaste and i cant quite pinpoint the problem. this is without any steeping so would steeping get rid of the strange aftertaste or is there a problem with any parts in my recipe? are there flavorings that shouldnt be in my recipe or any flavors that i am missing? help is greatly appreciated.

This is my personal fruit loops recipe:

3.75% TFA fruit circles

3% FA fresh cream

3% CAP sugar cookie

2% TFA sweet cream

1.5% TFA Rice Krispies

1.25% FA meringue

1% TFA berry crunch

15.5% flavoring- mixed at 80/20.

My main problem with fruit circles is that it's a very selfish flavor. At and over about 5-6% it tends to stick out like a sore thumb and steal the spotlight from the other notes that I'm trying to bring out. This recipe right here will give you an extremely delicious, last few spoonfuls of cereal in the bowl, sweet, creamy goodness that should be in a fruit loops juice.

I'm sure everyone and their moms are burnt out from cereal vapes, but if you have these ingredients laying around give this recipe a shot, I promise you it's worth it. This recipe has been in my ADV rotation for some time now and always make sure to have some steeping for personal consumption sitting around.

Cheers, hope I could help!

EDIT: was slightly off on recipe(fixed)

EDIT2: as someone else already mentioned, steep time is huge with any type of creamy flavor profile. It might be good as a shake and vape, but might personally recommend making a 30mL for now and a separate batch for steeping.

And before I make an edit 3: this recipe may contain trace amounts of D/A/AP, so mix at your own risk!

How is this without the Rice Krispies? And is it actually Crispy Rice Cereal (TFA)?

It's ok without it, but the cereal is then lacking. You'll still get a great fruit loop flavored juice with great creamy notes, and you'll taste the sugar of the cereal (sugar cookie x sweet cream x meringue) but you'll definitely be missing just a little something.

Just like any authentic and great recipe, substitutions are always possible, but you'll just get that much of a loss in quality.

You'll probably get a good product though. Why not mix it up and let me know how it goes?

And about the name, I'm 99% sure it's called Rice Crunchies or Krunchies by TFA.

Thanks that's the name of it by the looks of things.

I'm just on the hunt STILL for a good Fruit Loops vape. They are all either way too creamy, or just way too fruity. They all seem like a real crappy knock off cereal, which isn't a problem they still tend to taste great, just not Fruit Loops great. The only ones I've come across that actually taste like Fruit Loops have been big name juice MFG's so I'm on the hunt!

Is this more of a Looper type flavour, or a Bird Brains? Looks interesting :)

Uh.. I haven't had bird brains before, but there's much more of a realistic creaminess to it and a lot less of the "crunch" from the AP that looper provides (don't quote me on the AP, just what it tastes like). That could be easily changed by turning up the berry crunch.

And screw TFA fruit circles.. Go FW fruit rings and you'll never look back. I use it 1:1 whatever fruit circles was in all recipes.

PLEASE learn how to properly format your posts. trying to read inline recipes is the worst.

Personally I would cut Fruit circles in half. At least. But I suspect that Fresh Cream is giving you that weird aftertaste. Cut that in half as well.

And yes to aging, at least a week is a must for any cream to be its best. Looks like you are on the right track!

Dilute the whole thing in half and see how that is?

I think the berry crunch is about right, and the others are not hurting anything. I just know that Fruit circles is rough. People say FW Fruit Rings are better, but I kinda burnt out on cereals. Now trying to figure out all the yogurts.

I'm burnt out on cereals, yogurts and donuts.

Patiently waiting for something new.

Drop fruit circles to 6%, ad marshmallow(or FA meringue- .5%), cut the graham cracker out entirely(maybe replace with FW yellow cake), drop FA fresh cream to 2%, up the dairy to 2%, up the french vanilla to 3%.

If the fruit circles comes out a bit too strong after all this, add some TFA sweet cream.

I don't have any marshmallow or merengue on hand and I just got an order in so I won't be getting any juice soon, anything to replace those with?

Meringue is the flavor of the sugar coating on cereals. Smells like a fresh opened box of cereal. I'd say just use a cream to help soften it if you don't have those.

Was vaping this some more and did realize that the graham cracker was giving off the wrong flavor for this recipe so thanks you were right!!

I'd swap the percentages of the Fruit Circles and Berry Crunch. Fruit Circles has a very pronounced artificial lemon flavor. I don't mind it myself, but a lot of people say it tastes like lemon Pledge. I've had great results with a very simple 4-ingredient cereal recipe:

  • 7.5% TFA Berry Crunch
  • 4.5% TFA Bavarian Cream
  • 2% TFA Graham Cracker (Clear)
  • 1% TFA Fruit Circles
