The purpose of this thread is to gather the community to explore a flavor and it's many uses.
We're not just looking for you to post recipes you have containing the flavor of the week, but looking for you to share your process as you develop a new juice using the flavor of the week.
This should help us all to better understand how certain flavors interact, and give us all a launching point to perhaps discovering new wonderful recipes. Please post new recipes created using this flavor as well as any and all tasting notes as main posts. Thought process is encouraged also.
This thread will NOT be in contest mode so the best flavors and reviews of those should move their way towards the top.
While I definitely encourage you to branch out with this flavor and use some more rare flavors, I would encourage everyone to keep it in mind that others will not be able to try your recipe and comment or offer assistance if they do not have the flavors you are using. I would also encourage you to use this week's flavor as the "main" flavor in your recipe although this is not required.
You BETTER sample and offer tasting notes on your recipe. Good luck to everyone!
This Week's Flavor is: COOKIE
Unlike in the previous monthly contest thread, I am NOT limiting this to any specific flavor from any specific vendor. After all, our goal here is to come up with perhaps some unique uses of the weekly flavor or combinations others may not have thought of before. This should allow for maximum participation as well!

Damn how did cookie beat mint? At least now I have more time to get INW Mint & stuff. I might post a cookie recipe or 3 later. At work now.
I'll look forward to that. Have you tried INW Eucalyptus & Mint? I'm trying to find anything that goes well with it. Its not bad with INW dragonfruit
Which mints are you getting? I picked up Eucalyptus & mint, and natural mint. Planned on playing around with them after work.
You only just now got eukalyptus z mieta? Tsk tsk.
Just INW Mint. I forget which others they have, gotta look into it again. I'm still broke tho, damn holidays.
Growing up my Grandpa would make tradition Italian cookies every year for Christmas. FA Cookie reminds me of one of cookies that he used to make.
To start it he would bake the cookie with a thumb indent in the middle, then he would put Apricot jam, or Raspberry jam the into the indent, and sprinkle chopped walnuts on the cookie. Like a lot of Italian cookies he made it would then be baked again.
Because FA Cookie already reminds me of this cookie, that will be my base. Next I'm going to add a little of INW Biscuit, to try and keep the cookie from being to dry, but not take away from the main cookie note.
I currently only have CAP Raspberry V2, so I'll use that (although the Apricot one was better IMO).
Also I have no walnut flavor at the moment. Instead I'm going to use a combination of FA Hazelnut and Almond.
Lastly, a little TFA Brown Sugar to sweeten.
**Almond (FA)|0.5
Biscuit (INAWERA)|0.5
Brown Sugar (TPA)|0.5
Cookie (FA)|1.5
Hazel Grove (Hazelnut) (FA)|0.5
Raspberry v2 (CAP)|3
**
Flavor total: 6.5%
I'm going to mix this up as 5ml tester, 11/89 PG/VG 3mg NIC and let it steep over night. If I remember, I'll post the results, and second version of the recipe tomorrow or Wednesday.
*Grammar and Spelling, I Hope.
Day Two:
The cookie flavor is spot on, but a little on the weak side. I feel like this could be do to my Velocity Mini RDA, as I never seem to get the best flavor from it. The raspberry is well balanced, leaving the cookie as the main note. However the CAP Raspberry V2 doesn't have a very jam like flavor to it. I'll have to try and find the mythical INW Raspberry.
Overall I think that so far I'm on the right track.
Any input that you all might have to make the flavor stronger, without over flavoring would be much appreciated.
*Tested with a Velocity Mini by EHPro, 0.5ohm (6 wrap, 24g kanthal) on top a Kbox Mini (18 watts, 3 volts)
*Redripped, and raised watts to 28 (3.7 volt). I really need to start checking that stuff first. The taste is now stronger.
- (TFA) Cinnamon Sugar Cookie - 5%
- (CAP) Vanilla Custard v1 - 6%
try it
EDIT: I did not understand the purpose of this thread. Disregard this cinnamon custard recipe.
This seems too simple to be really good. Just these two ingredients?
I can see using the CAP Vanilla Custard to combat the dryness of TFA Cinnamon Sugar Cookie, but at 6% I would think that it would take over after a long steep. I would try dropping the Vanilla Custard to around 3%, and add 0.5% INW Biscuit, and 1% TFA Marshmallow instead.
I'll give this one a shot. I like simple recipes, and this sounds like it would be good with morning coffee.

A classic play on CAP sugar cookie and FA Cookie. Look for the updated recipe in the comment section!

No recipe (yet) rather a question:
So cookie is a weird one for me. I dont know what it is about it, but im working on an Oatmeal Apple Cookie recipe & no matter how i tweak the cookie %, it still has a massive dryness to it. Almost like a throat hit. Its too dry for my liking. At first i thought it was the Fuji Apple, but in other recipes, the dryness doesnt exist. Any tips?
I don't personally have any suggestions, but you may be able to take some ideas from /u/enyawreklaw's version
Ingredient|% :---|---: Almond (FA)|0.5 Apple Pie (FA)|2 Brown Sugar Extra (TPA)|1 Cookie (FA)|1 Fuji Apple (FA)|2.5 Sugar Cookie (CAP)|4 Vanilla Custard v2 (CAP)|1.5
thats actually what i started on. I changed it, but that was my base
I've countered dryness with vanilla swirl about 1-1.5%
Really? Unfortunate. I've vaped vanilla swirl standalone @ 4% and it's very similar to VBIC, not surprising, though, as they share 90% roughly of the same compounds
Meaning I've counter-acted dryness from other concentrates using vanilla swirl and it covered it up.
Edit to add
I've really been loving what vanilla swirl does to mixes. It thickens them up and adds a creaminess over what other vanilla flavorings add. Probably due to the other goodies in it in addition to the ethyl vanillin and vanillin. If I'm going for actual vanilla flavor, however, I stick with shisha vanilla.
Ok, go easy on me. These are my 1st attempts at an Oatmeal Cookie, and my 1st posted recipes. I'm not very articulated at saying why I chose each flavor other than to say this: When I try to come up with a recipe, I think about the profile I'm looking for, and then, what ingredients I'd use in the kitchen. I then correlate those to the concentrates we have and give it a shot guesstimating the %s. I then tweek the %s until we like it.
I used Oatmeal Cookie for obvious reasons. I imagined that the butterscotch would add another dimension to the oatmeal, and I like them IRL in my homemade oatmeal cookies. Both recipes are pretty good, to us, but not quite where I want them yet. I have plans to change out the sucralose for brown sugar, and play around with the %s some. I do like the Oatmeal Cookie at 5% though. I may also sub out the Butterscotch for Caramel. I just haven't had the time to tweek lately. I'm also waiting on some walnut to arrive, as I think that would be pretty awesome in these as well. Any and all advice is greatly appreciated.
