Simple strawberry cookie
- Cinnamon Crunch FLV 4%
- Vanilla Bean Ice-Cream TPA 3%
- Strawberry Molinberry 3.5%
- Cinnamon Ceylon FA 0.3%
So this is a simple, yet delicious recipe. It is by no means a final recipe, but begs to be played with. Try different variations, tell me what you think
Cinnamon Crunch
So, big surprise, this is an awesome flavor. It is buttery, grainy, sweet, rich, and cinnamony. To me it tastes more like honey-roasted oats. There is a sweet cinnamon note in there, but it is by no means pronounced. A very bakery-type cinnamon, one you would find in a nice home-baked cinnamon swirl. I personally like cinnamon to be a bit more strong. At 4% the Cinnamon Crunch flavor offers a nice base for everything you decide to mix it with, it is extremely mixable. A word of caution, it is a fairly potent flavor and i wouldn't go above 4.5% with this one. Cannot be subbed
Vanilla Bean Ice-Cream
I decided to make this addition to smooth things out. It is one of my most used flavors and is extremely versatile. It brings it's own smoothness to this juice, without subtracting from the overall experience. A lovely addition to any bakery-type flavor. You can sub this with some other cream of your choice
Sweet Strawberry Mol
This can be pretty much subbed with any fruit or berry of your preference. Capellas sweet strawberry, TPA Banana Cream, Fuji FA would all work wonderfully in conjunction with Cinnamon Crunch. The reason i picked Mol Strawberry for this is simply because i haven't had a good strawberry juice in ages, and this flavoring IMO is one of the best Strawberries out there. Yes, i know the Strawberry Ripe hype out there, but to me it just tastes like moldy berries, it is a pass for me
Cinnamon Ceylon FA
As i said, i like my cinnamon fairly prominent in my juice if it is to include any. Cinnamon Ceylon is in tune with Cinnamon Crunch, as it too is a very "bakery-type" flavor. At 0.3% it isn't overpowering, but it just boosts that cinnamon note a bit more. I guess this could be subbed with some TPA cinnamon, although i haven't tried
As I said, this recipe begs to be tempered with. Try adding some nuts, more cinnamon, liquid amber in conjunction with Fuji, blueberries, the possibilities are endless. Although this is an awesome flavor as is, this provides a solid and delicious platform to work off of. Steep time is pretty short, overnight and it's good to go
Hope you like it!
Are there any US based companies that sell Molinberry?
