A little bit about Inawera and their different lines.
submitted almost 10 years ago by queuetueProud Sidebar Reader!

Some information about my current favorite flavor company, Inawera. This is all google-gathered from sites largely in languages I don't speak, so please feel free to correct me below.

Inawera makes flavors specifically for vaping, they do not produce concentrates intended for use in foods or beverages, and all of Inawera's flavors are produced in Lublin, the ninth largest city in Poland.

Their flavors are primarily geared towards tobacco and supportive flavors that make tobaccos taste better. Those supportive flavors are strongly concentrated, often very realistic interpretations of a real world flavor, and useful outside the realm of tobacco flavoring. Some of their flavors (smoked prunes, sesame, exotic roots) point to a flavor profile different from my US palette, but they are worth exploring as they are unusual but also great flavors.

INW even produces a "dirty neutral base" which is PG infused with different levels of nicotine and the flavor of an ashtray, to build another flavor on top of, resulting in a simulation of a burning cigarette. They also produce pre-nic'ed bases in virginia tobacco and "universal" tobacco varieties.

They suggest you could even vape that DNB straight, although I can't see how anyone could.

In general, Inawera flavors are very concentrated. Frequently, reports of them being “weak” are incidents where using too much flavor has blown out the tester's taste receptors. I always start testing INW at 1% and work down if necessary, and will very rarely go up to 3% with a single flavor INW.

Inawera has several different lines. In addition, the packaging is in polish, but a mixed type of polish intended to support their wholesaler, which is in Spain, and main customer base in english speaking european countries. This combination can create confusion, so here's a description of their current lines:

  • E-AROMAT: “House” flavors. Highly concentrated, but easier to use. Gold/Brass colored label with a colored panel in front and an illustration of the flavor. Often useable as a single flavor mix or with little adulteration.
  • WG: Wera Garden - the “Pro line.” More difficult to use, but intended for professionals to use in blends, geared towards tobacco. Rainbow colored label, with a big brown drop.
  • TDM : Tino D’Milano - this line is intentionally similar to FlavourArt’s flavors: similar flavors, rumored to be designed by former or current FA flavorists. Plain looking yellow label, big brown drop.
  • SHISHA: Blended flavors, intended to be suitable as one-flavor mixes. Based on the flavor of the sweet shisha tobacco used in hookas. Full color images of fruits and different background colors to match the image on label.
  • DUETS: Blended flavors, intended to be suitable as one-flavor mixes. Based on classic real-world flavor pairings.
  • CLASSICS: These seem rare, and I don't know if they are part of the other lines or not. White labels with "Yummy classics" on them and an image on the package. The only one I have is rhubarb, which says something about "classics," but I'm not sure what.

Inawera also makes unconcentrated mixes suitable for vaping directly, although I’ve never encountered them.

Their primary website is http://www.inaweraflavours.com/ for bulk orders, and they maintain a forum at http://www.inawera.com/ which unfortunately for me is mostly in polish (I think). The forum does contain tasting notes, often including mixing percentages and gear used for testing.

Also available in the US at Wizard Labs (great prices for testing sizes), Bull City, and ECX among other vendors. Anyone with availability in other countries, please add it below or let me know and I'll add it here.

They are currently hosting a black friday sale, which indicates they are intentionally targeting the US market, although seemingly not in earnest.

EDIT: Lots, I'll keep updating as I think of things or get other information.

Another shitpost, no surprise there. Did you even read the sidebar, numbnuts? All that text, and I don't see a single one-flavor recipe, nor do I know what to order. If I wanted useful information I would have gone to /r/Vaping . Do you even mix by weight, bro?

Srsly tho - great post. I've been playing around with a few of these and they are pretty solid. I really like their peach, which skiddlz got me into - a lot like FA white peach but without so much bite.

Anyway... That link looks like some good deals if you want industrial sized quantities, but for smaller amounts the best deal right now is over at wizard. THey are selling 8mls for $1.29, which is about half of what INW is charging direct from the source. They don't carry the raspberry molina though, which botboy has encouraged me to try

Thanks again for some great content.

Sorry, boss, but no recipes because I don't mix. I just collect flavors. Gotta get them all!

(I added the info about sensible places to purchase them, I wasn't suggesting people buy industrial quantities :) )

What? You collect all flavors but don't mix anything , i don't get it . Inawera gets mixed reviews by most , some good ones and some not so good ones just like every other flavoring company .

Yeah, I just collect them. I've been doing it for about 6 years now, but I've never tasted any of them.

I keep them sealed in lucite blocks on a shelf.

I've been a huge fan of inawera flavoring for a while. What I'm not a fan of is the way the site is ran. Information is spotty at best, split between multiple sites that have seemingly no link between them. Flavors will "disappear" from the site for weeks or months with no warning and when you do email them, if the one in ten chance they decide to respond the only thing you will get from them is "It's restocking, we cannot give you any ETA on when it will be available again" this is conveyed in broken English and I've had to sent multiple emails just to get this answer. Most of the questions I have emailed them with over the past few months are answered with complete silence. From a business standpoint I have had to phase out inawera in my juice line because I simply cannot be guaranteed I can get stock when I go to order it. Another frustrating thing is how there prices very by what currency you are paying with, if you change to USD on inaweraflavours.com you will be charged about 30% more(after conversions) for the same product. I brought this up to them and paypal months ago and neither has decided to take action on it, leading me to believe this is just a simple plot to garnish more money from customers not paying attention. It could very well be neglect, but I did bring it up to them months ago with no change.

Just wanted to chime in with my experience with Inawera, because I really think it speaks volumes to the kind of service you should expect from them.

Thanks for the write up q-2. INW and obviously CAP are my two favorite flavoring companies. I love INW fruits in my tropical mixes.

I'll add that Wizard Labs has the best deals on INW flavors at something like $1.50 per 8ml. Only downside is that it comes shipped in a non-mix-by-weight friendly bottle (which is actually better for flavor preservation.)

awesome, thanks so much for all the info. We just received our INW flavs and haven't had much time to play with them yet, but excited to get started.

INW is quickly becoming my go-to over FA lately. I've been getting a few with my last orders that have really surprised me and just got about 25 more with my most recent order. Very interesting about the TDM flavors. I was wondering if they were attempting to compete with FA on some flavors. Thanks for the write-up, broski.

Wow, thanks. I knew there was a lot going on with INW but I never even tried to parse it all out, this is great.

Nice post!

I'm new to mixing and bought my first batch of flavours from Inawera. Most of them have been great, except for INW Vanilla Classic and INW Orange.

I tried Vanilla at 2%, 3%, 4% standalone or in a mix (for example 4% INW vanilla, 1% INW lime and 1.5% INW biscuit). I can't taste it at all. Do you have experience with this flavour and dosage, or should I just try another brand or maybe shisha vanilla?

As for Orange, I'm not sure if I'm putting too much or not enough, I tried between 2% and 8%. It smells great but taste quite weak and feels somehow unpleasant to vape. Any recommendation with this flavour?

Also, don't you think some custards or creamy stuff are severely lacking from INW range? I have INW crème brulée, it's decent but I'm not sure if it's very suitable for mixing. That's about it for that kind of flavour or did I miss something?

> Do you have experience with this flavour and dosage

I don't, in fact. I avoid INW for dessert flavors. What I love about Inawera is their ability to make a single flavor on point that hits like a freight train. I build a support structure around it using other vendors for the final recipe.

For the subtle complexities of pastries and creams, I'd go elsewhere.

I'm also not familiar with INW orange, but I haven't found any oranges that really float my boat. My suggestion would be to take it down to 1%. I know that's counterintuitive, but with strong flavors, it can often make a positive difference. I just bought Hangsen's green orange to see if it will bring what I'm looking for.

I actually like INW shisha orange, but admittedly I don't have any other experience with orange flavors. It's potent though. I use between 2-6 drops per 30ml bottle depending on recipe. I've been working on lately a lemon-lime mix which I use a drop or two just to brighten up the mix. I've also tried Donald Bubble and it's weird. Definitely reminds me of Bazooka Joe gum and I swear it leaves this sticky sensation on my teeth. And again, it's incredibly potent. Only a drop or two seems to work.

That's interesting you say you use one Inawera flavor and build around it with others; one of my best mixes does that exact same thing. The Inwera is a much higher percentage than you use though; 4%. I'm afraid if I lower it the other flavors would overpower it.

What do you do when you build a mix like that? Do you keep all the other flavors low too, or keep them at around 2-5% like most flavors?

You are definitely overdoing it. INW flavors are strong af, so you should start at 1%, and if you still can't taste anything then lower the percentage until you can. If you're at like .1% though and you can't taste anything then yeah it's a shitty flavor lmao.

Meh, ok I'll try that but it seems strange an other dozen INW flavours come out great at around 2%, even those that are known to be super strong (unlike the vanilla classic or orange). Only those two at are shite especially the vanilla.

Also I saw on http://e-liquid-recipes.com/flavor/2274 Average mixing quantity: 2.3% plus a dude saying "Long steep - 4 weeks try little bit More flavor maybe 6% Preferred single flavor mix: 5.0%"

E-liquid-recipes is completely useless for flavors with only 2 reviews and 4 recipes. Keep any mind that any newbie mixing his first juice can go on there and flood it with poor advice.

Maybe you like tongue searing flavor, but I've had polar opposite experiences than you have with INW. Blueberry? .25% max. Peach? 1% max. Anything from INW that I've tried over 1% has killed my tongue for hours.

Thank you for this wonderful write up. I have been very curious about this company and plan on try some of their concentrates very soon. Too bad I don't speak Polish so I could read their forum, lol.

HA! Reminds me when I was back in college, decided to drive down to Moana, a "driving beach" with a car full of people in my trusty Hyundai Getz.

Bill : "How does this handle sand?"

Me : ".... yeah, pretty good!"

....bogged. Tide coming in. Fark
