Hi there !
I'm new & this is one of my first post on reddit, but the lasts months i've explored the forum and learned sooooo many many things. This is a great community with people sharing their knowledge, advices, ideas etc etc...
I would like to share one of my recipe that i actually really enjoy :-)))
Some weeks ago i was vaping a French liquid (well, i'm French too & my English in not perfect & my humor "shitty", u'll see that...), FURIOSA (dragon clouds), described as this :
"Nectarine milkshake with a coulis of Strawberries raised of brightness of cereal...Subtle, creamy, fruity and greedy, brief, certainly your next all-day....
All day not for me, 19.90 Euros for 30ml is way too much, i don't buy commercial juices very often, maybe 30ml/3months
I have immediately detected the main flavor which is TPA fruit circles, nectarine is heres but really cut off, not really a milkshake, strawberry ? hard for me to feel it. Anyway it's a cool vape, something a little different as usual Cereals juices, not too lemony, but a bit creamy,sweet & sour, really fruity cereal !
So here is my adaptation of that juice ^^
TFA Fruit Circles / Berry Crunch: The mix of these 2 cereal flavors make something that i really enjoy. Berry crunch adds fruit notes to the very lemony Circle...(nothing new here...)
FA Strawberry & TFA Nectarine : This is the fruitty add-on to the Cereal flavor. I choose FA strawberry instead of TFA Ripe just because i think it works better on this recipe. just a personnal taste. TFA Nectarine (Acetoin is your friend ?) is sweet, fresh, a bit tart. Nectarine have similar notes such as Apricots/peach/plum....but not the same thing, sure it's Nectarine ! 3% works well with FA strawberry ( Also i used it because i don't have any others Nectarine flavors except that one ... ^^
FA Fresh cream & FA Meringue : boths make the mix sweet & creamy (we need sweet notes on this recipe but not too much, otherwise u'd better buy commercial expensive juices...). More than 2% of meringue tends to make a kind of "burnt", like the top of a meringue that stay a bit too much in your oven while you were vaping one of your favorite All-Day juice... ^^ Damn vapers !!! Some people say that more than 1% of FA meringue is not good for a mix with fruits...i think here 2% works.
TPA Dairy Milk / TFA sweet cream : Because i think 99% of people eat their cereal with milk ^^...i would say it add something milky to the recipe mix (again nothing new...) & kind of bitter/sour combined with fruit flavors. 1% is enough, more in that recipe makes it becomes too bitter. The cream add...creamness ? :-) (I think dairy milk is not necessary, just level up a bit the sweet cream % instead.) Sweet cream + Meringue will make a kind of milkshake.
TFA Bavarian (Acetoin is still your friend ?) : just because i love this flavor ! with fruits, it adds vanilly creamness, make the fruits dessert like, a bit buttery but sweet. It tends to makes this mix less harsh too (well i know, nothing new here again ^^)
Want something sweeter ? add tons of sweetener like most of commercial juices to mask the lack of "fruit punch" ...personnaly not my thing.
So i tried various attempts with this mix, tried many combinations, to my personnal taste this one works the best. I prefer this with Dripper, I don't say it's a BIG cereal recipe, just a nice Cereal vape juice, fruitty, creamy, sour & sweet but not too much, not too lemony, perfect with my tastes...so, love it or hate it !!!
i've posted the recipe at ELR : http://e-liquid-recipes.com/recipe/344802/FURIOSA+%2528ThePzy%2527s+version%2529
I'm open to any critics/advices to make this recipe better again :-)))) Will post more recipes very soon :-)
oups ^^ here it is :
FURIOSA (ThePzy's version) : Fruit Circles (TPA) - 4% Berry Crunch (TPA) - 2% Red Touch (Strawberry) (FA) - 2.5% TFA Nectarine - 3% Cream Fresh (FA) - 2% Dairy Milk (TPA) - 1% Sweet Cream (TPA) - 1.5% FA meringue - 2% Bavarian Cream (TPA) - 2%
welcome to reddit. you can edit your original post rather than comment on your own post to add content. and most ppl refer to flavors with manufacturers first then flavor name and also like to format their recipes as a vertical list so it's easier to read. I'm feeling grateful today so I've done it for you...
TFA Fruit Circles 4%
TFA Berry Crunch 2%
FA Red Touch (Strawberry) 2.5%
TFA Nectarine 3%
FA Cream Fresh (FA) 2%
TFA Dairy Milk 1%
TFA Sweet Cream 1.5%
FA Meringue 2%
TFA Bavarian Cream 2%
Hey man, the usual format for posting recipes is:
[enter][enter]
* 4% TFA Fruit Circles[enter]
* etc% ETC etcetera[enter]
* etc% ETC etcetera[enter]
* next flavor
If you don't use the * to make a bullet point, you must hit enter twice to start a new line.
So that it turns out like:
- 4% TFA Fruit Circles
- 5% IDK other stuff
- 4% OK some more stuff
- 10% RLY everything else
Formatting can seem a bit silly, but it makes everything easier to read for everyone, so we enjoy it. It also takes a while to learn, so don't feel bad about not formatting properly.
Where do you get those flavors? I'm french too and I can't find a lot of these anywhere. :/
TFA is in many French's shops, same as FA . Personnaly i buy direct from manufacturer, or official retailer.( absolut-vapor, aromemarket for FA, vapotestyle etc etc....)
