Recipe - Moist Fruit (do you like a certain chewing gum?)
submitted almost 10 years ago by testaccount54

I got some TFA/LA Tutti Frutti a while back with the intention of trying for a Juicy Fruit flavor but then I got sidetracked and it fell by the wayside. I abandoned it for a little bit, came back to it a few days ago, and I'm surprised at how easy it was!

Here's the recipe, please mix it up and let me know what you think!

TFA - Tutti Frutti - 10%

TFA - Banana Cream - 2%

TFA - Gummy Candy (PG) - 1%

TFA - Sour - 2 Drops per 10ml

It's really good as a shake and vape (for me) but I have no idea what steeping will do.

So, on to my rationale:

Tutti Frutti - So this is a weird flavor, It's like a totally inexplicable medley of fruit, I can't pinpoint a single definite fruit but maybe my taste buds suck. Anyway, combining it with Gummy Candy really gets that gum flavor. You have to be conservative with the GC because it can overwhelm really easily. 1% is perfect.

Banana Cream - Gummy Candy has a lot of harshness to it, BC manages to round out that harshness while also adding a banana element that's clearly present in Juicy Fruit. Win win.

Gummy Candy - I've already talked about this flavor, although its more accurately a flavor additive. It really gets the essence of gum, but it's really harsh and dulls flavor. The harshness we've addressed, but the dullness is fixed by...

Sour - This really brightens up the fruitiness of the Tutti Frutti, and lets that shine through the Gummy/Cream.

So, awesome. Mix this up if it appeals to you. Give it a try and give me some thoughts! I'd love to hear what other people think.

Next up: Lemon Pound Cake plus(!) Cakestone v3

This is a great post. It shows (what I believe to be) the bare minimum of development notes that a recipe should have to be self-posted. You did a great job breaking down the flavors, and why you used them, without writing paragraphs on each. Great job, OP, and great recipe. You may want to copy this over to the recipe thread just for archiving purposes.

Mine is a little bit more simple.

CAP Bubble Gum 8%

Capella's bubble gum is identical to "Juicy Fruit" gum , i have the "Tutti Fruitti by a few others including FA and they are not dead on like Capellas is .

They are very close but not dead on.

> CAP Bubble Gum 8% are there 2 CAP bubblegums? 1 gumball and the other juicyfruit? or only 1? I ordered CAP's juicyfruit but the bottle has gum balls on front

The one I'm talking about is called bubble gum and it has what looks like a pack of juicy fruit on the label. I'm not familiar with any other capella gum flavors.

I know Inawera has two bubble gum types and one does have the gumball's on the label , i know another flavor company has gumball's on the label also.

Capellas does not but it does show a yellow pack of Juicy Fruit gum on the label.

You can bump it to 10% if you want. That might really blow your hair back.

Nice write up. Well done. Let us know how it steeps out, I'm wondering if the sour will mute the fruitiness after a bit of steep. I'll be mixing this up on the weekend. Thanks!

I dropped the Tutti Fruity FA back to 5%, shake and vape, so far not bad at all. I'll vape 5ml or so (a tank, Goliath v2) then let the rest sit for a week or two.

So far I'm getting more of a Fruit Striped gum than a Juicy Fruit. Probably the FA Fruity Tutti. I'm definitely getting that gum after taste.

interesting, I have LA TF and i was curious how different brands would work. Good to hear it turned out well. Never had fruit striped gum so I can't vouch for this but i do agree that its not as much juicy fruit as it is a delicious fruit gum
