I'm mostly a lurker here, only got into DIY recently. But I would love to participate in some kind of DIY juice secret santa. Nothing big, maybe a 10-15 ml sample + recipe. Maybe someone/a mod could set something up if there was enough interest here? I would be willing to help, but I think we need someone known/trustworthy to officially run the thing.

[Edit] Yeah. I was naive and posted this without thinking much about it, sounded like a cool idea at first. After reading the comments I'm not too sure if I'd vape something I got sent by a random.
I appreciate the sentiment, but I don't know if I'd trust liquid mixed by any but a handful of the regulars in here. Too many of this sub's members are of varying skill levels, and I'd worry about putting newbie juice into my body.
I like the idea of exchanging recipes, but we share those all year around, so Xmas isn't as special.
About the only thing I could imagine trading would be unopened flavors that we like but are under-appreciated, but I don't know if I would participate, since my backlog is scheduled into February already.

As to the backlog, I think that sending a sample of your favorite ADV (like 10mL of your 120 that's already made) would be good. And this will help people to branch out more as we tend to stick close to the wheel house alot of times when we mix.
I'd be perfectly willing to share my ADV, which is definitely an offbeat flavor profile. I'm just not sure I'd be willing to try yours.
Recipes are safe, I know how clean my bench is, I know where I get my materials, and I know how to measure well. I don't know anything about a lot of you, including Mr AIDS joke below. :)
Mandate zero nic? There are tons of us who have been mixing for a while, or have gotten very good in a short time but don't care for too much of the social aspect of it. The only thing I would be worried about is some dude accidentally putting too much nic in a bottle.
This sounds fun. Everybody sends their favorite recipe with a sample to the person they draw.
Edit: If there is a concern about the lower skill levels in some members, it could actually work out to be like a mentorship thing. If you get sub-par juice, then you can help them to refine their recipe and their skills.

Edit: There are a few companies that just stock every flavor extract ever and brew up recipes according to your specifications. Could use them as a middle man to insure gifts do not contain any bio/chem hazards. Canadian example

we should definitely have some kind verification process. Maybe a basic juice safety quiz and then a minimum karma check?
Then I'm definitely out. I don't know my karma score, but I feel I say a lot of things that people find unpleasant. :)
I like the idea but I share the same concern as many here. It's hard to trust the people you know nothing about.
But, and this would be limiting on the amount of people who could participate, it may be possible to just have everyone pick their secret santa; someone they have seen and gotten to know on this sub for a while, having a reciprocated and no longer secret santa. That would allow for people to only exchange juice with people they trust as it would be a mutual agreement between both parties.
But, that's a long shot ;/
