TFA Fruit circles question
submitted almost 10 years ago by pink_er_pants

After searching high and low I've yet to see a single recipe anywhere with TFA fruit circles that DOESN'T have berry crunch or captain cereal. I've got a decent cereal recipe that uses both but ive smashed through my captain cereal. Now im staring at this fruit circles and wondering about another potential use. Curious if anyone has utilized TFA fruit circles in any way that's been remotely decent without another cereal paired with it

Some people really like TFA FC. Others have difficulty with it.

From my tasting, I'd say burn it with fire, then scatter the ashes among several different toilets, and perform a ritualistic burial ceremony for any atty you tested it in. Then pay a pennace of not mixing for one month as punishment for even bringing the flavor up for discussion.

But, like I said, some people seem to like it. I don't want to show any bias.

made the mistake of making 250 ml of tongue fuck as my first batch because i heard it was good. Biggest mistake of my life, those goddamn fruit circles are the bane of my existance. Never again.

I mixed up a fruit loops cereal recipe a couple weeks ago. It was a reputable recipe. I didn't read up about the lemon taste of the Fruit Circles until after it. I am still slowly getting through my 60ml bottle and the longer it steeps the more predominant the lemon gets. I am looking forward to trying FW Fruit Rings which apparently doesn't have the lemon taste!

The lemon is what makes or breaks a fruitloop juice. Go stick your face into a bag of fruitloops and tell me there isn't lemon in it.

Every fruitloop juice I've tried is either nothing similar to fruitloops or they overdid the lemon and it tastes like pledge.

I made a really amazing 30ml fruitloop batch but neglected to write down the proportions, and every attempt to recreate it tastes like pledge. Maybe I'll try again tonight.

Do you recommend an alternative?

I'm not on a Fruit Loops thing at the moment, but when I go back in that direction, I'll be trying ECX FE lemon, and INW Shisha lemon.

/u/IDSMB /u/queuetue /u/DrMclovens /u/fritobandito32 sorry guys.. I uh... fell asleep.

Whipped this up! Pretty banging! Can't really nail the flavor of it. The honeydew is pretty strong though. Not getting much from the fruit circles. Reminds me somewhat of a fruity type gum. If you have the ingredients already I'd suggest trying it out, definitely a unique flavor

Just saw this.. My bad. Yeah I can tell the Fruit Circles is in there but it doesn't exactly pop out like it would at that percentage which is pretty interesting. Thanks for coming back and leaving feedback!

Do you think I could use INW Mango instead of TFA? Perhaps@ 3.5-4%? And possibly 2% IMW Melon, and like 1-2% FW papaya? I like that combo a lot, and I only have a 5ml of TFA honeydew and I'm out of mango

You can get away with subbing the Mango. But subbing the Honeydew and adding Papaya won't taste anything like mine. Could work out good though so I'd try it!

I'll keep honeydew the same and if I like it, buy more honey dew

Damnit, I've got no mango lol. From the thread it seems it's pivotal.

I think i remember making it for a friend awhile back with no mango and him saying it was still good. I'd try it. The Fruit circles does some weird shit to the Honeydew and Pineapple and make it pretty interesting.

Ya creams are a good addition. I was going back into work so just gave a general idea as fast as possible

Lemon Meringue pie from Cap pairs well with it. Use to make a really good lemon custard/lemon bar recipe that used fruit circles/lemon meringue and Fa custard.. See if I can pull up the recipe.

Just adding some cream to it makes it pretty decent. I was happy with adding bavarian cream, cream fresh, and some cheesecake(graham crust) to it. It took the edge off it.

TFA Cheesecake Graham Crust amd TFA Bavarian Cream. Make a lemon cheesecake.

I pledge allegiance to the TFA Fruit Circles

You should try some Slurp Ejuice some time and you will never use TFA Fruit Circles again.

Still on the quest for the Holy Grail.

Two days ago I mixed up

1% TFA Dragon Fruit
1% TFA Fruit Circles
13% FW Yogurt

Just trying to get a more interesting plain yogurt. Tastes pretty good right now. You wouldn't know FC is even in the mix.

Yes...

I find that with Fruit Circles the lemon can get over powering, I use Strawberry to mute it then pair it with malted milk. I've never used berry crunch with my fruit circles recipes. Probably what I'm missing!

Here's what I use mine in. 5% fruit circles TFA 2% vanilla bean ice cream TFA 2% toasted marshmallow TFA 1% lucky leprechaun TFA 1% cotton candy TFA

Let it steep for a few days.
