I don't know if anyone is familiar with this flavor by space jam, but after doing my research, and finding one comment that was downvoted, I've finally found an almost exact replica to this flavor. For those not familiar, it kind of tastes like orbitz gum with a bit of something else. One of my favorites when it comes to vaping.
4% TFA Honeydew 2% TFA Watermelon 2% CAP Double Apple 1 drop TFA peppermint per 10ml
It's incredibly spot on, and after trying some on a fresh atomizer vs with my friend's vape who's ADV is pluto, it's almost exactly the flavor of Space Jam Pluto.
Enjoy!
Edit: Posted this below. Also you can probably substitute other apple flavors for CAP Double apple, but that's the one I had on hand. Apple just mixes really well, and gives it that bubblegum taste that a lot of recipes substitute straight bubblegum for.
Is there a specific peppermint you use?
Oh my bad! I forgot to list what manufacturer. It's TFA. I've edited the OP to reflect that.
Back in the day there was a spot on clone floating around for it, that I ADV'd for a good while.
It was a 2:1 ratio of TFA honeydew and TFA bubblegum, with the same 1 drop per 10ml TFA peppermint.
I tried this too, but the apple much more closely replicates the flavor. It tasted far too much like bubblegum, and didn't have any of the other flavor notes that Pluto has.
Unless they changed the recipe since I've last tried it, I really think you're overthinking it. Pluto doesn't really have anything else going on in the background either.. I guess I should throw up a standard 'taste is subjective, go with what tastes right to you' disclaimer, but I personally think that the books are closed after the honeydew/bunnlegum/peppermint recipe.
Well, considering pluto was my adv before starting diy for about a year, and I've tried both recipes side by side with actual pluto, I can guarantee that the recipe above is much closer to Pluto than just the honeydew bubblegum recipe.
If you really care that much, try out both and report back. There are definitely elements missing with the 6% honeydew, 3% bubblegum and hint of peppermint recipe compared to space jam Pluto. Regardless, I'd rather fans of this flavor be able to find this post and decide for themselves.
I am almost certain there is at least 2% bubblegum in the original. I can taste it. I like the idea of apple, but idk I'm going to try your recipe with 1-2% bg
Go for it. The bubblegum flavor really comes from the mixture of the apple and melon flavors though. I'd try mixing both so you can see what I'm talking about. There's a reason why apple juice is used in almost every fruit juice blend that you can buy in the store. It blends well with most flavors.
Missing bubble gum
If you had bothered to read the comments, you would have read that the apple mixes with the rest of the flavors to make the bubblegum flavor. I've tried both recipes. Flavors often combine in unexpected ways that you can only learn from trying, so try it out. If you've been mixing long, I'm sure you've experienced this.
As a heads up, if you're relying on people reading the comments to get a point, its probably a point worth putting in the original post and is a sign your original post was lacking clarity.
That said, I can see your edit adds it. But I'm unsure of whether this was added before, or after your response of "If you had bothered..."
Sub for TFA watermelon? Double watermelon, or watermelon FA by chance? I think I have a few more that I'm forgetting to mention
