INW Dirty Neutral Base
submitted almost 10 years ago by WaterFlourYeast

I was looking into tobacco flavors, since I've never really touched them at all and I think they would be fun to experiment with. One thing I found was INW Dirty Neutral Base , it seems like it's similar to FA Black Fire, adding in a ashy note.

On Inawera's website they have a VG/PG/NIC base with what im guessing just has the above mixed in already.

Anyone have any knowledge about this concentrate? I'll be picking it up in my next order, I've always liked the ashtray taste.

that has to be the most unappealing name for a flavor ever created but I am intrigued.

Stay low like 0.5% to 1%. Gets real ashy, really fast. It also "dries" out the vape as well. I like it, but find myself not using it as it can be a bit overwhelming.

is it smoky? or more of an astringent ashy taste?

It's hard to describe as an additive but I'd describe it as ashy, not smokey.

Is it like a cigarette ashy and dry? Because I'm trying to make a Marb Reds juice for a friend who loves the taste of them, and it dissuades him from vaping.

To me, yes. It takes tobacco flavors from fresh pack wet tobacco smell to more of a post combustion experience. It's really hard to explain until you use it and I haven't played with it for 6 months.

It sounds like what you are looking for as an additive. It makes the sense "dirtier". Very useful.

To give an example, something like this is nice.

  • FLV Flue Cured 3%
  • INW DNB 0.5%

years of conditioning associating the taste to a nicotine fix can do that to you.

I liken the flavour to that after taste you get after you finish the cigarette. Not really ashy per se but def that dirty combusted flavour. It works well in a tobacco flavour and it was the flavour I needed to get a tobacco to taste like a cigarette for me.

I use about a drop per 10 mls for tobacco flavors. If you use too much it tastes like a wet cigarette.
