I ordered a bottle of 3mg high vg egg nog from Mitten Vapors, and I think it was the best tasting vapor that I've ever had, so I'm looking for possible clone recipes. With winter coming up, it would also be nice to have that seasonal flavor discussed here and available :)
Yeah , i believe the mixer "HIC" just uses FA Vienna Cream for Egg Nog.
Some Flavoring companies sell an Egg Nog flavor and you can buy a 13 ml sample for around $2.50 , should allow you to make your own super cheap .
FA Oba Oba can impart egg nog like taste when surrounded by the right flavors.
FA Holiday Spice can also create a bit more interest in a seasonal vapes like this.
/u/hectomaner listed his wonderful vanilla custard base recipe in this thread.
It has very pleasant eggnog notes in it, and remains one of my favorites.
> I'm working on one currently. Here's where I'm at: 5% CAP Eggnog 20% TFA Vanilla Bean Ice Cream 5% FW Jamaican Rum The Eggnog is really strong, very heavy on the nutmeg, but the VBIC tempers it and gives it a good smoothness. In the next iteration I will cut the eggnog to 3%, VBIC to 15%, and add some cream (Sweet or bavarian; haven't decided yet). If anyone wants to tweak this with me please let me know what you did and how it turned out. Edit: Here's Eggnog Rev 3, which I really like: 3% CAP Eggnog 15% TFA VBIC 5% TFA Bavarian Cream 5% TFA Brandy (forgot I had this and works better than the Rum flavor). This one's a keeper, I'm really happy with the results in a dripper. Edit 3: This recipe would benefit from a custard flavor, but since I don't use those for health reasons it's not part of the recipe. If you want a killer here and don't care about the dangers, throw some custard in there and this could be an ADV.

you can all crawl back to your holes now
FWIW, I pretty much abandoned that recipe so don't blame me if it sucks. I am also now firmly pro-custard and would approach things entirely differently now than I did then.
I was wondering about the 20% VBIC, but I didn't really feel like going any further. I had to dig a little to find yours.
I applaud you for firmly becoming pro-custard again; & I agree, I'd make it differently.
Maybe I'll work on some solid White Russian/Egg nog/Mint Chocolate-Milk-Vodka Rumpleminze drink vapes in a few weeks. That'd feel pretty holiday-y
Search bar is this --------> way.
& so are archived recipe threads. I know i've seen more than one egg nog recipe somewhere in there.
Also: Search.
Hey, I don't mean to be a dick, but if it's so easy, why not just do a quick search yourself and post the results here? Let him know you used search to find it, and it might help him in the future.
After 50 posts of doing this, I gave up, maybe seeing 1/50 actually having had done some sort of search or homework. I don't blame him whatsoever. Before you submit content, you must do your part, and there is nothing wrong with /u/tranceinate reminding one to do that part.
There is nothing wrong with a post that says "I tried the other eggnog recipes on this forum, but they suck. Any help? I've tried this and that and some of those"
There is everything wrong with asking a question that has been answered.
Do your homework, or at least show that you have tried. otherwise: www.reddit.com/r/DIFM_ejuice
I kind of understand his reason for this response though. It's kind of a waste of data and a post if theres already a bunch of other posts about it, and if it was a discussion he was looking for and said that, that'd be totally different. Since there's always new info to be had.
I've been noticing a lot of dickishness around this sub lately, and I don't mean you.
I dont have to do a goddamned thing because ive already done my fucking homework on this sub over a million times already. There's a big red fucking warning box when you hover over Submit New Content fucking WARNING you to use the search bar before posting.
So no, fuck right off with yours & OPs bullshit.
only would like to add that sometimes reddit search function fucking sucks and good information can easily get buried within a thread. also someone might have a fresh eggnog recipe that they're holding onto, but haven't shared yet and maybe a post like this could remind them about it. but having said that... if you do a search for eggnog the first hit is a year old thread asking nearly the same exact question so you obviously have a point.
