Capellas Doughnut recipe I have been making for a while.
submitted almost 10 years ago by fearliathmor

I know it is real high but it balances out in a week or two for those that like their juice strong (low tastes/muting tanks). I am playing with it today at around 3-5% with TPA frosted. I have tested TPA and at real low it brings a frosted/powdered sugar flavour. 2-3% TPA frosted donut with a touch of meringue and fresh cream FA. Use it as a base for a cream filled, apple fritter, and jelly donut. KK Donut. I have read much about Cap donut. Here is what I have been making for a long time.

KK Donut

1% Cream Fresh (FA)
5% Ethyl Maltol (10% PG)
10% Glazed Doughnut (CAP)

Flavor total: 16% Long steep on this one. I like a couple weeks my buddy lets it sit for a month. This has been my wife's ADV for a long time (she likes strong flavours). Not my favorite but I found so little discussion on using this flavour I thought I would share this one. I am trying to get TFA frosted to work with this one for a few different types of donut recipes. I will share the different versions as I try (if there is interest still in donut recipes). I want to use some cap cinn danish and apple, a nice cream filled, as well as a fruit filled version.

Yes it smells funny and stays that way for a while. The flavour is worth the effort imo.
