I would be so annoyed if they shipped me those lol
Oh, don't worry, you have to choose it, lol, they don't just dump a fancy bottle on you.
I really love how it looks - it breaks up the monotonous row of 30ml bottles of concentrate. Kilner tops are normally pretty tight (I keep a litre bottle of water on its side in my fridge), but there was a little bit of concentrate around the top. At a guess I'd say it was due to how it was filled, otherwise there'd be a little puddle in the plastic bag it came in.
I love the top sealing on that bottle but not a big fan of the tree shape. Give me that top sealing with a regular bottle and i'm happy.
The Xmas tree shape is a bit silly but that's why I like it :P
I wish the inner base of the bottle was dipped in the middle so the last remnants of concentrate would pool neatly to the centre but what can you do.
Not sure if you're in the UK, but you might like these
And for larger diy batches, these 500ml brown swing-top bottles seem reasonably priced.
My little daughter would love to have a couple of those bottles (empty of course!)
Yeah those are nice bottles. I'm in the USA
Thanks for the post.
I tried searching for 50ml kilner bottles -uk USA, but the Google search bubble keeps my search results in the UK despite all that. It can't be that hard to find though. I thought there'd be more choice in the US. You'll come up with something.
Actually for concentrates, you're on the right side of the ocean. I ordered about a litre and a half of concentrate from Capella direct, shipping was about $35 dollars then I got a £25 invoice for customs duty a week after (I'm in the UK). My wholesale account with TFA hasn't been used yet because they want $55 international shipping. I wish I was local to both, but hey-ho.
