How I view people who over describe flavor profiles.

When I first started DIYing, I thought people describing flavors like that was pretentious, and annoying. But if you ever want to move on from simple recipes, and actually be able to create something entirely on your own, you kind of have to get into that much detail. Someone reviewing a flavor and saying "yep, taste like strawberry" isn't helpful at all, whereas someone providing a detailed breakdown of a flavor profile is invaluable.

I've been DIYing for almost two years at this point. I understand you need to explain a flavor rather then just say "snozzberries taste like snozzberries" but some people go a bit overboard with their "views" of a flavor.

Wasn't really meant to be a post trying to start fights though... just thought it was hilarious and reminded me of a few posts here.

"Its a delectable madagascar vanilla served on a warm bed of french custard with a sweet hint of a sprinkle of cinnamon with a cara-"

Shut up its vanilla custard.

So true, I gave up trying to believe the reviews on ECR about juices. I figure, they must of been high AF when they vaped it and wrote the reviews.

Comes in quite handy for me so far. I would rather see that then fifty threads each of "My First DIY", "What flavors do I order." or "Just made a shelf device to hold my flavor will it work?" ...

All the Creative and Complex threads go to the bottom and never seen again.
