Mint Chocolate Chip Assistance Needed ITT

Hi y'all. So I had some Ice Cream Man, Mint Choco Chip about a week or two back and while it wasn't the greatest juice, I really enjoyed the profile. Thus began my illustrious dive into the rabbit hole of mint chocolate chip flavor profiles.

I ordered various concentrates and a few odds and ends. My girlfriend works for eBar at Nordstrom and she said she puts Irish Cream concentrate in their shake and it's not nearly as good without it.

So far my best mix has been:

FW Chocolate Mint 5%

CAP Dutch Chocolate Mint 2.5%

FA Irish Cream 1.5%

FA Fresh Cream 1%

TFA Creme de Menthe 3%

This mix provides a nice creamy cooling on the exhale and a deep chocolate exhale. Although, it's almost as if they are two separate sensations, as if you added FA Joy to the mix to separate them. I think both the Mint aspect and the Chocolate aspect are too strong. I want to get that chocolate just right as if chips in a cool, refreshing, minty ice cream, and don't want the mint to be too strong.

I highly suspect the aforementioned ejuice is simply using Lorann's Mint Chocolate Chip but the sites I order from don't carry it... yet.

Any suggestions on how to combine the mint and chocolate aspect? I have a couple different chocolates and mints on hand, but no FLV Creme de Menthe. Tasting the ejuice, I don't think they use creme de menthe but I don't want to clone it as it's a pretty simple profile and would like something a bit more complex. Just looking to combine those two flavors rather than having two separate exhales. A cool refreshing, mint ice cream, with a subtle bit of chocolate.

Thoughts?

If you want a really good chocolate mint then you have to try "Creme de Menthe" by Flavorah. Tastes like those "Andes" Chocolates that come in the green wrapper.

Not sure about the recipe as I only own 2 of the listed flavorings.

I came here to say this as well. I haven't tried making this type of juice myself, but I'd definitely use FLV Creme de Menthe if I did.

Heh, this recipe is very different from anything I've ever mixed up. I tend to steer pretty clear of FW. Also I haven't tried the juice OP is referring to. That said, I would play with modifiers, things you might not think of. Too chocolatey? Add a note to cut through it. I dunno, something like that.

you still using your og tundra recipe? i finally landed some dk tobacco mix... been making it with FA Glory.. It's pretty good but not as addicting as the original. Have to try it with that shtuff

The production version you can buy is modified from my released version, but both are crack as far as I'm concerned.

FWIW, I think Bombies uses Lorann's Mint Chocolate Chip for A Real Nightmare, which is one of my all time favorite choco-mint juices.

Try adding a small amount of dulce de leche if you have it. DDL contains a small amount of triethyl citrate, this chemical works as an emulsifier and may bring your two flavors together. Also steeping usually helps with this to.
