In this context does 'concerns' equal bad news?

Yes. The UCSF Tobacco Research Center is run by Stanton Glantz, who is not a doctor and has a Ph.D. in applied mechanics rather than any biological science. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stanton_Glantz

Mr. Glantz can fairly be called the archenemy of vaping (at least in the academic sphere). He has repeatedly proven himself willing to demagogue, misconstrue research, and even lie in his anti-vaping crusade.

There is no upside to selling him juice.

Absolutely fucking wonderful.

The more I read the more it feels like I'm going to have to stock up on juice, a few tanks and one or two mods before we just don't have the choice to purchase them.

Look into going DIY ejuice. The threads in /r/diy_ejuice are amazing to start; I have some personal gallons just hanging out in case that day comes.
