I bet that most of you probably are tired of the whole Cereal craze and don't mess with cereal mixes anymore. I also bet you never tried this juice.
I went through several stores trying and buying different things until I found that it is possible to get the taste I am looking for. That juice being made in Indianapolis and being top seller all over the south as far as Florida. The juice is called Slurp by JÜS manufactured at Indy E cig. Every time I stock up on flavors I have to splurge and get this stuff.
The description of this Juice is below:

A very subtle Milk flavor so light that you don't feel as if it is a creme.

A grainy Sweet Sugary taste "Ever emptied the Bottom of a Bag into the bowl?"

A puffed rice (maybe Corn) taste that you can only taste behind the main notes if you really pay attention and that shows up more during a dry burn.

A Fruit Taste and a citrus taste that I can't describe and that does not taste like lemon or pledge mixed with other fruits. Hard to tell at this point, but I have ideas now.
The last one is really hard for me to pick out The fruit taste is so light that you feel as if it is equal to the Milk note in the recipe. So I have been extremely interested in trying to figure out this fruit taste first of all.
The juice usually tastes like Milk with Fruity Pebbles and sometimes the grainy taste will remind you of fruit loops, but the recipe is spot on which no other has seemed to do. The closest was Glas E Liquid's version, but they were very far off the mark. Looper is just a joke when compared.
I searched the internet over for clues on what these people found that gave them the idea for this mix. I found the following facts below.
Food Ingredients: " artificial flavors" US Foods do not require cereals to display full ingredients and manufacturers can be very vague. Australia's government requires more clarity and may have a different version of the cereal all together. The artificial flavors they used for that version are below.
- orange
- lemon
- raspberry
- cherry
- lime
During the search I ran into another DIY Hobby that is used for mixing fragrances called Essential Oils. A very popular mix of oils was a ~~recipe~~ Blend for Pebbles / Fruit Loops. I found the blend below on about 6 different websites.
- Grapefruit
- Lemongrass
- Bergamot
If any of you are as adamant as I am about figuring out a good Loops/Pebbles cereal recipe feel free to use the info and share ideas.
I will be researching the flavors above to see what concentrates I can find that will work.

That is the List for artificial flavors in the Australian Version of Froot Loops made by Kellogg. Probably tastes a little different. I am still looking around for opinions or someone who could say for sure.

There must be some bad stuff in the US version. A few countries have banned these sorts of cereals. A good reason to just vape for dessert after a healthy breakfast.
Interesting. I'd imagine it would be pretty difficult to get a list of exactly what's in these things since they are closely guarded trade secrets. But I think those flavors make sense. Raspberry kind of surprises me. There has been a lot of speculation that Froot Loops contains Bergamot though and lots of people make comparisons between these cereals and earl grey tea.
I am also wondering about the Oils. Smell makes up a lot of what we think of when we say "Tastes Like" .. Other then Sweet, Salt, Sour, Bitter..
Someone said TFA Mary Jane smells like LemonGrass, Not Sure myself.

Yes the trade secrets are kept close. You will never get 100%. This Juice I am vaping is damn close and so are the Dino-Bites you get at Kroger. I was done with making a Cereal Vape up until I had this.
Just like to add that in the update Aussie version cherry flavor was removed.
Also most people say that the aussie/euro versions don't taste as good :P.
Little tip for creating captain crunch flavor is the a slightly more pronounced strawberry note, as indicate on the box they use strawberry juice concentrate (for berry crunch that is).
Really good to know. That just makes you wonder what was in the original for them to feel they needed to add that to the AUS version.
This juice is on point though so someone figured it out. If they did then we can also.
I have been trying several methods of tasting the cereal and vaping this juice to get a better understanding. Clearing my pallet with different things and trying new concentrates.

If anyone has those flavors and can tell me if they are just artificial enough to work that would be greatly appreciated.

Blueberry overtone on bite, raspberry intermingled, then when you take a breath you taste a slight undertone of cherry / lime / lemon rolled into one.
I am thinking blueberry needs to be at the top note on taste profile, then surround it with lemon/cherry/lime/raspberry.
I just don't see Blueberry being in this. The TV producers are going by what colors are in the bowl man. You should try the Juice I mentioned. "Slurp by JUS".
I have used TFA Wild Blueberry , TFA Rainbow Drops, TFA Grape Candy , & TFA Rice Crunchie.
Blueberry is just too light to build around and I don't taste it at all in the cereal or this juice.
Rainbow drops tastes like skittles candy. Nothing like it.

Rice Crunchies - Probably will work as a low note to the mix
All of that would taste like a mixed fruity candy sure, but not going to work for what I am talking about. I guess you would have to try the juice to get an idea.
Who's juice have you tasted that you think is the best Fruity Pebbles mix?
The juice that I tasted wasn't by any big name box brand. I have tried slurp and to me, it just tasted like Looper w/o the berry crunch.
The one I tried was a mom and pop down in Panama City Beach, I may order another 120ML bottle for testing purposes. The only thing I didn't like about theirs was it still had somewhat of an over powering lemon note, it was much more mild than that of say "Looper" or "Cereal Milks" , but it was still too present.
I cant tell if it's blueberry or raspberry that I am tasting, but I have INW , TFA , FA , and CAP Ras and none of them give me an artificial enough flavor as the one in FP.
I am all for trying to contribute to this thread, but I am rather green at mixing still and just now branching out more on my own vs. copying the internet.
I have ordered 100 10ml bottles and going to start mixing all flavors that would be needed in say FP and test them stand alone and start slowly adding to the mix until it's right.
In my mind, there is not a "clear winner" for this cereal. They;ve come close, but FP has a unique "fake" taste that I'm wondering if we even have the access / ability to clone even at a 80% success rate.
I'm down for sharing notes / ideas tho. Thanks for the response on the flavors I mentioned. I'll steer away from them for now.
I also have Rice Crispy Treat by TFA I believe, and stand alone I could see it building the base around due to its "creamy" notes.
You found it at the shop in the City part of Panama City Beach , right? Not beach side. That was the only place that had decent juice when I was there.

See to myself from what I have found and tasted it almost makes me think it is a grapefruit with citrus on top like bergamot.
Hey, Fryv4 posted about making fruity pebbles like 3 months ago and right around that time I had posted the exact same thing. I actually did a lot of research on the subject myself. Watch the commercial from 1994, or check my post I made about it. If you watch the commercial they show pictures of the fruit in the commercial. That is where I figured out which fruit was in it, instead of going off of color. For me the definitive fruity pebbles is a juice called Bundy made by a friend of mine, but he is no longer making it. It is now branded under a different name. I have a tiny bit left but it is damn hard to figure out this recipe...
