I mixed this up about 2 weeks ago, and after 3 days I gave it a try. I set it aside as a failure because it was just too strong and sharp on the tongue. It almost had a fruity sour taste, and I really don't like fruity flavors. Last night I gave it a little smell test, and it smelled really good. This morning I decided to give it a drip, and it is right where I wanted it to be when I first thought of it. If you like nuts in your tobacco, then I'd give it a go!
1% Desert Ship FA
1% Hazelnut TFA
1% Toasted Almond TFA
.5% Nutty Princess INW
.5% Toasted Marshmallow TFA
.5% Graham Cracker Clear TFA
You might like it fresh after making, but I think a two week steep is where it really shines. Let me know what you think.
Looks good, although FA DS even at 0.2% is crazy strong for me. It mellows quite nicely, though. I may give this a shot and see how it mellows at 1%. I've heard good things about nutty princess, too; how much tobacco do you get from it? INW vanilla pipe is good, but it is almost straight vanilla for me. I'll pick up some nutty princess if the tobacco note is noticeable...
Well nutty princess definitely doesn't taste too nutty to me at all, i like it in small amounts in recipes, which is how it seems other people use it too. I still wouldn't have high hopes for it as a tobacco standalone or even primary, though. Not at all.
Personally, i find the taste to mimic something very very specifically... Play dough. I don't think I've seen anyone else make the comparison so it could just be me, but I definitely taste play dough... in a good way, because oddly enough, it grew on me after a couple of vapes.
Honestly, if there's anything here that could be left out, it would be the nutty princess. I can't really get in to it more than where it's at here.
My first test with FA DS was at 6%. Didn't realize FA was so strong. That was a surprise.
