If you read between the lines of my posts, I like tobacco based eliquid recipes (well, like them more than bakery or candy recipes) so I'm always tooling around with various sundry in the tobacco field of flavourings and find things to compliment them.

For a long time, my ADV was Halo's Tribeca. I tool around with it a lot on the DiY level, and came up with a new taste for it by including wintergreen, and a bit of FA's Joy. Don't have a name for this, so if anyone's got a suggestion:

The Unnamed Tribeca Sorta Clone with Wintergreen

• 1.5% Acetyl Pyrazine (5%)
• 2% FA Joy
• 2.5% TPA Graham Cracker (Clear)
• 10-12% TPA RY4 Double
• 15 drops FW Wintergreen per 30ml

Flavour Breakdown

Acetyl Pyrazine The popcorn / roasted peanut / choco-coffee aromas for this are well known and usually people are advised to use this at 1% or less in recipes, since it can dominate. I use 1.5% here which is pushing limits a bit, but I like it. More than you'd ever want to know on AP

FlavourArt Joy The love child of this sub for a while, many thought it was a wunderkind. I think HIC nailed the descriptor calling it funnel cakes. Sweet with a slight bakery note. This is a replacement for the EM called for in common Tribeca Clone recipes.

The Perfumer's Apprentice Graham Cracker Clear Not quite graham cracker (I think the other flavouring companies get closer) but this is damned nice. When I smell it and vape it, I think warm and cuddles. Make sense? ;) I also think it, along with the AP are coil killers for me; I have to change coils twice as fast when using this recipe. But it's worth it. The 2.5% is lower than some Tribeca recipes. Play with the amount.

The Perfumer's Apprentice RY4 Double The main tobacco note. Everything and then some has been written about RY4, and it's probably the single most favourite tobacco flavour for many DiYers who use tobacco flavourings. I put 10-12% because it depends on how you vape - I'd use more in temperature control. But I'm loathe to do recipes over 15% ;)

Flavor West WinterGreen I heavily wrote up Wintergreen here. In this recipe, I don't want wintergreen to be dominant, I just want it to hover over the recipe, float above it, be slightly there on the exhale. Warning though, it does leave your mouth a bit dry on the exhale at higher drops. Fool around with between 3 to 10 drops per 10ml for your liking.

Prep and use

As mentioned above, both the RY4 and wintergreen can be influenced by your vaping style, ohms and temperature so play with that.

This requires a good two week steep and I'd recommend you leave the bottle open for the first 24-48 hours too. Of course, if you have an accelerated method (heat bath, spinner etc) YMMV.

Also wintergreen is potent. It can coat your tongue and remain if you're swapping devices and going from recipe to recipe. Not a bad carryover as far as I'm concerned, but it will be there.
