With everyone seemingly wanted a good banana recipe I humbly offer up my Banana Pudding I have been working on.
submitted almost 10 years ago by KeithMcDuck

I have been playing around with this for awhile and I really think this is really good. Any feed back from you guys would be awesome. Hope you enjoy.

  • Banana Cream Colorless (LA) 5%

  • Banana (FA) 1.5%

  • Vanilla Custard v1 (Cap) 2.5%

  • Cinnamon Sugar Cookie (TFA) 1%

  • Joy (FA) .5%

The sugar cookie and the joy are there to mimic the nilla waffers at the bottom of the pudding. I really don't know if joy is adding much to this mix though.

Yum. This looks pretty good.

I still haven't gotten around to buying LA Banana Cream. I may just have to now. It seems like that is the end all be all when it comes to that flavor.

Definitely a necessity. It's almost like not having garlic or pepper in your spice cabinet. You're gonna miss out on a crap load of recipes. I agree with you also. This recipe sounds good.

Damn, I wish I would have thought to throw it into my last order... Two days ago... sigh

lol. That's nothing to feel bad about. We've all been there. You'll be there again too. I'm there right now. Just waiting to see if anyone will have a sale soon. Probably not since I actually need things. Ironic.

You made it TWO WHOLE DAYS before seeing something else to order!?!? I'm pretty sure that is a world record!

If anyone has FW cookie butter I usually add that to mine to mimic nilla wafers, small amount around .5 to 1.5%

Hmmm I will have to try that out. Thanks for the tip.

Its really good, if you've ever had cookie butter from trader joes its similar tasting.

Thanks for sharing! I've been kicking ideas around for a similar recipe. I think I will sub CAP's custard with FLV Vanilla Custard for more of a pudding taste. How do you like FA Banana?

Yeah i haven't had a chance to mess around with Flavorah flavorings are they worth picking up?

Absolutely! Their Vanilla Custard is best described as a vanilla pudding. It's like vanilla custard minus the egg. I think Flavorah has a 20% off code until new year, so the price is on par with FA flavorings.

Would INW Biscuit be okay to replace Tfa cinnamon sugar cookie?

Yeah I think it would be okay maybe try that at .5% and maybe like .5% of vanilla swirl. That might be a get ya to where you need to be.

Due to dietary health reasons, I can't have Banana Pudding much anymore. I'm curious to try this one. Thanks. I have everything but the LA Banana Cream.... There is always that one flavor you just don't have to complete the recipe.
