Shisha Flavor Recipe: Double Apple + Mint

So I've went through about 5 different versions since getting my flavor order in yesterday of trying to make an ejuice that had the same flavor profile of my favorite hookah vape. I would mix Al Fakher Double Apple with a bit of their mint to create a wonderful smoke. The flavor profile is apple with a hint of anise and I would add the mint to give it an extra kick. I finally came up with a recipe that hits it almost exactly right.

INW Bahraini Apple 1.5%
INW Shisha Apple 2%
INW Mint .5%

Mixed at 70/30 VG/PG.

All my iterations before this one I tried using FA Anise, but it turns out the Bahraini apple alone had enough of the anise profile needed for this vape to be what I remembered. What makes the "double" apple part is adding in the INW Shisha apple to boost the apple flavor much higher than the anise, and the mint is a perfect addition to give this flavor even more depth. Traditionally shisha apple (as opposed to double apple) has a higher anise:apple ratio. If you are looking to go that route, Bahraini apple at 2-2.25% and dropping shisha apple to .5%-1% would achieve this I believe.

This flavor takes me back 10 years to senior year when we used to get friends around the hookah and blow massive clouds of smoke while bullshitting and getting wasted. Now I can have this flavor in a safer form without the necessary prep and clean up that hookahs required.

To be honest, I only ever smoked bowls (i guess that's how you say it lol) of double apple, double apple + mint, al fakher guava (soooo goood), and social smoke mobster. I never really expanded from these.

Let me know what you think of INW Mint when you get some more time to play around with it. It's on my list of soonish-to-get.

Will do. I definitely don't taste any menthol-iness in this mix, just mint flavor.

Good on you. Never could smoke double apple, way too heavy of a flavor, always tasted like licorice to me.

Possibly. Been a while since I've smoked anything out of a hookah, let alone double apple so my memory is a little hazy. All I know is I don't like the flavor.

Oh, I'm not saying you're wrong, I was just being obnoxious and spouting "fun facts". Molasses definitely tastes like licorice.
