TFA Fruit Circles: Bad batches?
submitted almost 10 years ago by queuetueProud Sidebar Reader!

Fruit circles has ruined 10-12 recipes for me now, and frankly, I've given up trying.

But seeing how some people love it and others like me can't imagine anyone ever putting this anywhere their tongue, it reminds me of the bad batch of CAP Chocolate Glazed Donut I got. Could the pledge haters just have received a different product than the circle lovers?

I propose an experiment: Is anyone who likes their TFA fruit circles willing to trade 10ml for my 98% full 30ml? I'll also throw in a free 10ml of horrible CGD, so you can confirm I'm not crazy with regard to that.

EDIT: Ok, I surrender. No takers, so I added an 8ml to a wizard labs order. Maybe in 2 weeks, this will become a "who wants 40 free ml" post. I got some replacement GCD, too.

I like fruit circles. Post your recipe.

Edit: Still think you should post a recipe.

Can I ask, how long have you been letting it steep? Because it tastes fucking awful anywhere before a week. After a week or two it stops tasting like lemon pledge and tastes so good with creamy/milky flavours

I'm on 2 months with some of these recipes, all are over a month at this point. I still sample them once in a while, but it requires a complete RDA teardown every time

So you've only tried one bottle? I'd say it's probably a bad batch. Made tongue fuck the other day and it was fucking my tongue like it should.

I'm with you on this one. It almost made me puke the other day at 7% out of 20.5% total flavoring and steeped for 10days. It was so strong it reminded me of black licorice (which I hate). It definitely taught me a lesson to use my better judgment rather than go by reviews.

I'm curious about your GCD experience. I bought just the CAP Glazed Doughnut version and thought I got a bad batch. It tastes nothing like a doughnut, pastry or food item and more like plasticed baby powder, even after steeping 3weeks and turning a dark orange color. In the same order came FA Marzipan, same thing, nothing like Marzipan after steeping for weeks. I almost re-ordered both from another vendor to see wtf is up with them but I've moved on to other recipes, someday I will, just need other things more right now.

damn, are you guys using small aspire mini tanks or something? 1 - 2% on that is my max. I don't see how people use so much flavoring in these juices. I even have to thin down some of the juices I have bought at B&M. Well I don't eat sugar so maybe my taste for sweets is a bit sensitive..

Nope, no tanks just rda's until a recipe gets to ADV status then it's a RTA. I taste nothing on inhale, literally nada. Exhale is the only point I get flavor regardless of the total % or anything else I try. Pretty sure my taste buds are jacked in a permanent kinda way. Which is why I can't figure out if I got 2 bad flavorings in that order or if it's me.

The example above at 20.5% total flavoring was someone else's recipe that had raving reviews/comments so I thought I'd try it out. I feel like it's only fair to the creator to try it as they posted it, even, as in this case, if my gut is screaming "don't do it". I think 1-2% max is my limit also.

I mixed Waynes Cereal Milk recipe and added CAP Lemon Merangue Pie & TFA Fruit Circles in moderation. The Cereal Milk & Sweet Leamon of the CAP concentrate really mellowed it out. I had Looper and Nark by FogBoss and they were quite strong with that TFA Fruit Circles Taste. I did the same with those juices .. Just made another 30ml of Waynes Cereal Milk recipe mixed the two bottles.

If you ever want a nice cereal vape without Leamon and more on the Milk / Pebbles side then try JUC - Slurp from INDY E CIGS. I put it in the Clone Request thread. It is pretty damn good. Only juice I would spend $25 at the moment. lol

I'm a huge Fruit Circle advocate... It's delicious in anything I use it in!

What's your recipe?? I usually am in the 5-10% flavor range with it.

There have been many, as I said, but all have been popular cereal ones from this forum.

Try FW fruit rings. I think it's a lot more solid.

Yeah see I am opposite. 1% is more then enough for me when dripping. Plus the fact has a strong candy taste and pledge lemon taste. I usually add CAP lemon meringue pie and that seems to blend with it well and settle it down some.

I have had 2 or three batches of FC and they all tasted the same. I completely understand the pledge taste people describe but as mentioned it goes away after a few days of steeping. As a shake and vape it's pledge and dominates any mixed I've used it in but after letting a few mixes sit for 3 or 4 days and trying them again they are great. Give it a good steep and see if you get something usable. (Never went above 6% with it though).

I got fruit circles In a kit and I've been mixing it at 8% with decent results. No pledge. But I have found that the flavor drops off after a week. I'm trying 10% currently.

I find the secret to fruit circles is to use it as lemon. My cereal recipe uses other flavors and I just use fruit circles in place of lemon. Better that way.

What percentages are you using and how are you measuring? I find that my first mistakes in DIY was adding too much flavor. I can't see adding anywhere over 1% of it.

Also depends what you vape from. I can't see dripping more then a 1%. I use Wayne's cereal milk recipe with it.

The receipt I use it in takes a four keep steep to clam it down

I like fruit circles and I hate FE Lemon (which is the one I think tastes like pledge). I'll trade 10ml of mine for 10ml of yours to see if there's a difference

So strange. Quick question, do you think fruit circles tastes like fruit loops? To me, FE Lemon is delicious and jacksters cereal is spot on to fruit loops for me. However, some of my friends swear that fruit circles tastes like spot on fruit loops, and I'm not sure whether they have extremely poor taste or if something strange is going on here.

Yes, I'd say that Fruit Circles tastes pretty similar to fruit loops, although not really exactly. I don't get the lemon pledge taste at all from TFA Fruit Circles at any percentage I use it at, although I've only used it as high as 8%. FE Lemon tastes like pledge to me even at the lowest percentages.

It would seem that people who like Fruit Circles won't like FE Lemon, and vice versa. Quite interesting really.
