Question: How do you go about making One Shot Concentrates?
submitted almost 10 years ago by OiPalloi

As the title says. I want to make one shot concentrates as I would like to make a batch of one shot and create a concentrate (of example Looper) so I can then add 10%-20% of that to my Nicotine, PG and VG.

I just need pointing in the right direction with it all.

Any help is much appreciated! Thanks!

ELR has a feature where you can take any recipe and make a flavor base out of it. http://e-liquid-recipes.com

Well. I was expecting it to be much more confusing than that. Thank you, you have saved me so much time!

I did a bit of small scale production making house brand juice for a b&m for a while. I found that unless I was doing more than 100 bottles of 1 flavor at a time, I wasnt saving time batching concentrates. The best work/time compromize was batching .5-1L of finished juice in one step. 1 bottle per flavor and strength, measure and dump all ingredients into that bottle, shake/stir and pre-steep, dispense from that bottle into 10/30ml bottles, and toss the bulk bottle. For personal use I do the same thing except I only fill 2 30ml bottles and keep refilling them from the bulk bottle.

I just load my calculator with my final recipe, and then up the desired quantity based on the size of my storage, ie. 600mls final product = 120mls @20% flavor.

so I build my flavor base in my 120ml bottle at a recipe set to make 600mls of my final product.

Thanks.

It's basically the same on e-liquid-recipes but they give you all of the measurements in ml and you can adjust everything with automatic calculations.

Seems like my easiest option.

And let it steep, right?

I try to get at least a week on them if I can. It speeds up the steeping when I mix down to the bottle dilution level.

Awesome question! I plan to do this in the future, will this put a little steep time in as well? Or even go bad after x amount of time?

i will generally make 30ml of flavor at a time

just take a your recipe that would make 30ml, and then add that flavoring 10x to the bottle,

that way, you can pull out just as much as you need for each actual bottle.

Good to see you trying out DIY with as much hate and discontent the uninformed part of the vaping community gives it.
