Minimal flavor recipe
submitted almost 10 years ago by kindadinosaur

Hey guys, noob DIY'er here still looking to buy my first batch of flavorings, one thing I noticed that a lot of recipes posted on here are pretty complex, meaning so that it takes 6+ flavors to make one recipe. As a noob, im looking for simple 2/3 flavor recipes, I have found a few but they are deep in this sub. Searching does not bring anything up. What im really asking is basically, is there any post dedicated to beginner recipes. I have seen a few people suggest mustard milk i believe it is and 'nana creme. But lets say im a college student who plans on buying 5 flavors to start out with, I know im pretty limited on what I can make, but im also a noob and don't know what to get. Id love your input! Also, is loranns the only flavoring on amazon?

    1. Buy 5 fruit flavors of your choice.
    1. Buy menthol base or menthol crystals (that you would make into base)
    1. Start your mix low and work your way up to taste on a single flavor.
    1. Make 5 fruit juices you like.
    1. Add menthol to taste and now you have 10 different juices!

The above is what I did when I started out and it saved me a lot of money. Mind you, I am so lazy now I vape nic base and don't really make juice unless I want something fun but hey, its pretty easy man.

I mean, I like fruit but I feel like fruit vapes are hit or miss, I got a strawberry kiwi recently and it was terrible. When I smelt it I got nauseous so I mean, a sweet fruit vape is nice once in a while but any suggestions for a tart flavor?

I was never big on tart. You have to pick fruits that are good by themselves and aren't complicated. Apple, grape, blueberry, ripe apple, and quince were my fav's.

Seriously get some quince.

There are some good 2 flavor recipes here. Search mustard milk, thats one that I like a lot. There is a 2 (maybe 3) flavor recipe on the front page now that is a berry lemonade. Also, you should go check out /r/shakeandvape for a whole sub of simple recipes.

Agree with 'Nana Cream and Mustard Milk. Some of the first recipes I ever tried and they've been my ADV's for almost a year now. Super easy and very tasty.

  1. LA Banana Cream

  2. TFA Strawberry

  3. TFA Dragon Fruit

  4. TFA Vanilla Bean Ice Cream

I do 5% TFA Pineapple all the time. 6% TFA Ripe Strawberry and 7-8% TFA Vanilla Bean Ice Cream is great too. Recently been playing with a Grape Lime Rickey with 10-12% FW Grape Soda and 2-3% FA Lime (Tahiti, but I want to try the cold-pressed next).
