After some "hold my beer" level antics with a few friends and vaping undiluted flavorings- a koolaid flavor came to mind. Throwing several ideas at the wall to see what sticks- but I think I'm going to mix a raspberry, cherry and hint of grape- all sweet and candied. If you've had Flare by Roybot, that is the direction I'm going in.
My short list so far is TFA Raspberry Sweet, TFA Grape Juice, FA Blackcurrant, and FW Maraschino cherry. I have INW/FA/LA Raspberry, LA Cranberry- not sure they are what this needs.
Can anyone recommend any Raspberry/Cherry/Grape flavors that specifically stand out for this kind of flavor profile? Any suggestions for flavor additives as well(aside from a ton of ethyl maltol, which this will probably have). Thank You- Going to start with something like:
- 3.5% TFA Raspberry Sweet
- 1.5% TFA Grape Juice
- 1% FA Black Currant
- 4% FW Maraschino Cherry
- .75% Ethyl Maltol
That maraschino cherry tastes like robotussin to me. Maybe FW cherry crush?
Ya that's pretty high for that flavor. And I do like cherry crush for cherry beverage flavors.
I really prefer the FA and INW cherries. FW cherry crush is probs the only other cherry I'd use.
So you vaped flavor concentrate?

if i get a brand new flavor concentrate im not familiar with, ill add a drop of it with like 4 drops of pure VG on my dripper and give it a shot. It's actually pretty effective
I have been working on a Grape Sweet Tart (Request from a friend) and it may be close to what you are looking for. I know you probably dont have the flavors listed but I thought I would share something simliar I have been tinkering with. This is the version that has so far gotten me closest to the fake grape candy flavor, and the version that I was told was the best so far. BTW This has a killer throat hit which I dont really prefer, but that comes from the TFA Citrus Punch Moreso than the "TFA Grape Candy".
Test 3 - Grape Sweet Tart**
Ingredients|Ing %| :---|---:|---:|---:|---: Grapes (Inawera)|3.5%|24.0|1.243 g|1.200 ml Grape Candy (TFA)|3.5%|18.0|0.932 g|0.900 ml Citrus Punch (TFA)|2.50%|18.0|0.932 g|0.900 ml Mad Fruit (FlavorArt)|2.00%|12.0|0.622 g|0.600 ml Sweetener (TFA)|0.50%|3.0|0.155 g|0.150 ml
1 drops TFA Sour per 10ml/1 Drop Koolada per 10ml
This actually tasted more like a sour grape koolaid than sweet tart. Btw this has a thoat hit from hell if you shake and vape this.
I found that the the grape combo from "Inawera Grapes" and "TFA Grape candy" really gives you that candy grape flavor that could probably be used in a Koolaid variant. I would drop the Citrus Punch though down to around .75 - 1%. You want some citrus to help back up the Grapes and give it that "Tartness". The Mad Fruit I just threw in their for a drink note. It probably would work fine in a koolaid vape. Use Koolada if you want it to have that Ice feeling. Add sweetener to taste.
Since Kool Aid has a base of citric acid, you will want to put a touch of lemon flavoring in all of them, probably. Citric acid doesn't necessarily come from lemons, but lemon will probably be the cleanest flavor that gives you that flavor.
TFA's "Sweet and Tart" flavor tastes very "grape drank" to me. I'd definitely mix some in if I were going for grape Kool Aid.
