Dove into the world of yogurt last night...
submitted almost 10 years ago by smoakleyyyMixologist

...and came up with a mixed berry yogurt flavor. IDK if yogurt needs prolong steeping, and I have never used it before, but I said fk it and threw caution to the wind and made a 30 ml of this on my first attempt, and I've gone through close to 15ml of it between last night and today. It's a little light on the yogurt flavor I was looking for (really want more tang), so if anyone has any ideas on how to improve it please let me know.

The recipe: Mixed Berry Yogurt

  • CAP Creamy Yogurt 6%
  • CAP Harvest Berry 3%
  • CAP Sweet cream 1.5%
  • CAP Grenadine 1.5%

Total flavor %: 12%

Mixed at 70/30 VG/PG, vaping in a Veritas with a .8 ohm 26g coil

I threw the grenadine in there because it smelled really good and sweet, but I actually haven't tried the flavor solo yet lol. Really enjoying this flavor. It's a bit on the light side, but that's typically how I prefer my juices, so adjust flavor %'s accordingly.

This was just my first attempt, and as I said, I am not getting as "tangy" of a yogurt as I want, and maybe it's the yogurt I have (maybe TFA Greek yogurt would be better? or cap's greek? Or maybe it just needs to steep, but I am impatient and this will be gone in the next day or two lol). On my next try I am thinking about swapping Sweet cream for CAP Vanilla whipped cream, but as is I am really enjoying the flavor even if I didn't get the exact yogurt I was hoping for.

The "new" formula one or the original? I've read mixed reviews on the DA free one.

Not too sure on that, I got it from FA's Australian distributor (before I realised /u/InertiaCreeping sells factory sealed 10mls, not re-bottled stuff).

Either way, I like it.

If you got it from me, it was the new stuff- I wouldn't sell concs that knowingly had Diacetyl without disclosure (for example, I sell Cap Vanilla Custard V1, but there is a warning)

My last attempt at yogurt. I like it but not enough tart for me either. Greek Yogurt TPA 7%, Creamy Yogurt Cap 3%, Vanilla Bean Ice Cream TPA 3%, Sweet Strawberry Cap 3%, Mixed Max VG It was way more tangy fresh, now its steeped it is more creamy. I'm thinking sweet tart flavor might help it.

Hope to see your feedback on this. I have it too.. but trying to make it as base resulted in some very sour/foul smelling mix. The original smell of it smells like sour cream to me.

I'm gonna probably try mixing creamy yogurt with the tpa greek as datacuse did. Maybe a mixture of the two will give the perfect ratio of sweet to tangy.

best and most accurate yogurt flavor I've found, with plenty of tang, is from German Flavors.

Where do you buy german flavors from? I use bull city 99% of the time bc, as they did yet again, I order a massive order after midnight, and by 10 am the next day its shipped out and to me within 2. But they don't sell german flavors.

I use vapers tek for german, inawera, and molinberry and BCV and gremlin for the rest. On my first order with VT I ordered the german flavors peach yogurt and mixed it at %8. Shake and vape it is EXACTLY yoplait peach yogurt. Since then I played with all of their yogurt flavors(including plain), and they all have the tang and fluffy full mouth feel that I was looking for. If you have tried Schwarz juice, anything made with german flavors puts it to shame. VT has also been providing me with quality nic for a while.

I once tried to simulate the tang of yogurt by adding some TFA Sour to a mix. Vanilla yogurt sounded like a delicious idea but sour vanilla just isn't as good as a vape as I imagined.

Pretty into FLV Greek Yogurt. A little tangy and very creamy, buttery, and almost cheesy but in a good way. Reminds me of a full fat yogurt and has a great mouth feel.

I really want to pick up some FLV flavors, but I don't see FLV yogurt. Is there a hidden flavor list somewhere?

I think it's some kind of secret flavor in development. I asked about it in the comments section when I placed my order and it showed up with my order free of charge.

We could all use a little more tang in our lives.

Weird, I too dove into some yogurt last night.
I took a different approach. It seems to have some tang, but I might up FA's yogurt to .5
Creamy Yogurt (Cap) 3.5%
Peach (FLV) 1%
Strawberry (FA) 3%
Yogurt (FA) .5%
Sweetener .5%
