TFA Clove?!
submitted almost 10 years ago by bigbadblyons

So I got a friend who wants a Clove flavored juice... pretty much letting me run with what I think will turn out well.

All I can really think of at this point with what I have is an orange vanilla swirl with TFA clove.

Has anyone used this flavor before and with what?!

Thanks!

I use it in my RY4Goth flavor. 2% Clove to 5% RY4 Double. Just like a clove cigarette!

Its super intense, lip tingling clove. Don't attempt to go past about 5% or it kills anything else in the mix, no matter what it is.

I like TFA clove, and I loved clove cigarettes back when I inhaled burned items. If you want more of djarum flavor mix with french vanilla at a 2:1 rate, unless you want heavy clove, then go 3:1. Also, I don't play with sweetners much, but a drop of EM really pops clove.

Used to use it in an atomic fireball recipe and it really added a nice spicy note:

  • Flavor West Cinnamon Red Hot @ 7.50%
  • Flavor West Cinnamon Hot Tamale @ 7.50%
  • TFA Jamaican Rum @ 3.00%
  • TFA Clove @ 2.00

This recipe is spot on to the atomic fireball sweets but is extremely hot!

I'm glad I'm not the only one that thinks clove is vital to a real atomic fireball. I can't stand the stuff but newbies loveee that shit!

I hear good things about FLV's clove. The owner said it's the most underrated flavor they sell. I think /u/returnity can chime in.

I use it, a lot stronger than TFA's. Strength on the level of rich cinnamon, pretty clean accurate clone flavor.

FLV's clove is fantastic. I didn't know how strong it was when I made my first mix with it and went with 1% which was way too much. 0.5% gives you a pretty nice strong clove flavoring. I personally use it around 0.3% in some of my tobacco recipes and it is very nice after about a week of steeping.

Not TFA, but I just mixed a clove pipe tobacco for testing. Pretty nice as a shake n vape, but needs a little sweetness. After a steep, it may level out, though.

Jarumm

Ingredient|% :---|---: Black Fire (FA)|0.25 Black Honey (TPA)|2 Black mile (FE)|2 Clove (FLV)|0.85 Cured Tobacco (FLV)|3 MTS Vape Wizard (FA)|0.5

Flavor total: 8.6%

I bought the dreaded TFA Honey back in the day and I remember small amounts of it - 0.025%-0.05% - as tasting a lot like clove.

It is very potent for being tfa. I tried having it as a shared main with their jamaican rum for a mix a while back. Ended up using the clove at 0.1% and the rum at 10% they were quite balanced at those proportions

TFA clove 2% and TFA Dk tobacco at 3% makes a good Djarum flavor, its been a long time since I've smoked one but it definitely seems pretty close from what I remember. I always add 1% EM because it helps smooth the clove out and give it a slight sweetness.
