Flavorah customer service
submitted almost 10 years ago by rist1405

So... I wanted to be happy with these guys, the flavors are great, everyone is raving about them... I don't ask for much, I've worked enough retail, I like to think I'm not hard to please. All I require is 1. the product I ordered 2. someone to talk to if things go wrong who will make them right again. Flavorah has failed me on these two simple requirements. I made a small first order of 4 flavors and when they arrived one flavor was absent, one flavor was doubled instead and one leaked about 2-3ml. My call went right to voicemail and I left a message, no reply. I sent an email and a couple of days later I got a response that was professional, apologetic and assured me the correct product would be sent out right away. I'm good with that. While I was waiting, I made another order of 4 flavors. These arrived without a hitch, all 4 flavors but one had leaked about 2-3ml. I didn't even care at this point because.... where was the correction for my first order? I have called a few times, right to voicemail. I have sent emails wondering what's up with that first order correction, radio silence. Has anyone else had difficulty ordering from this company? It shouldn't be this difficult to get the product I ordered and paid for.

I've been trying to contact them for over a month now, and still haven't gotten a reply.

Never had a problem ordering from them or an order not arriving as it should but I do have huge gripes with the customer service. I was speaking to Brendan a while back about the yogurt flavor and when I was ready to order 4oz of it he just disappeared on me and never got back to me.

Since then, I reformulated my recipes with CAP Creamy Yogurt. It's a shame since it could have been easily avoided.

/u/KeggsNA sorry for taking so much time to release the flavor. We always included it free for sampling. It is finally for sale now...

Ah, damn you! I was just getting comfortable with CAP Creamy Yogurt and you have to come and pull me right back in. Thanks for the update!

Yes I've implied about the yogurt flavoring 4 or 5 times and never got a response. I just quit because I hate to pester anyone about anything. But I will say this I've heard great things about brendon but he needs to understand that his company will take off if he will invest back into it. Go to labor ready and hire a couple cheap employees to do the leg work while he gets his ducks in a row.

Hiring good employees is the hardest thing a business owner will ever do.

Hell, it's hard even as a manager for a giant business you don't own.

Thank for the advice, /u/Coc_White_Ac_Ty I am expanding that capacity now. We have spent the majority of our resources investing in the production of new flavors up to this point.

Is there a time table on the release of your yogurt flavoring? Also will this be a Greek yogurt or a creamy yogurt or both similar to what capella has done? Thank you

I agree. Their Customer Service is pretty non existent. I inquired a few weeks back regarding when a few flavors were going to be back in stock. Took almost a week for a reply saying they were in stock now. The website still says "out of stock" though. I guess I will have to go through gremlindiy from now on for getting their flavorrs. It sucks because at one point they were active here; but not so much anymore. I am guessing flavorah needs more employees to keep up with the ever growing demand of diy and their product.

If it's the message I'm thinking of, you only got it because it's automated.

/u/davesnothear Sorry for not showing up a little more often... Like all things it did start as a one man show, but we are hiring and that helps. We recruited a great guy who manages a medical laboratory in Seattle that processes millions of samples per year. He is going to help us both streamline our processes and improve overall quality I think.

SD hit it on the head , it's a one person operation , one person can only handle so much .

Countless businesses get caught up in the same trouble , they don't think they will get as busy as they do and get overwhelmed .

/u/surfisherman sounds like you know from experience :) We've had growing pains, but were always trying to improve for our customer's sake.

I've tried calling and emailing, but you never get a response. The toll free number tells you to press 0 for customer service, and no one ever answers. The number on my receipt is a cell phone I guess, and it goes strait to voice mail. None of these are ever returned. Emails go unanswered, and now I just had a shop cancel an order because I couldn't deliver because Flavorah hasn't shipped the order I placed on the 20th and I'm out of the rich cinnamon I need. Nice work guys. Anyone know who they buy the rich cinnamon from? Maybe I can order from them.

hi /u/rist1405 , try me again by PM, phone or email.

One of the easiest ways to fix these problems is to use your order number or your name when requesting customer service support. The best contact for this to is the email address on the bottom of your pack slip where there is a note about leaks and getting a replacement. Email Service@flavorah.com so that the person responsible can jump right on it. We just hired somebody to help with this so that orders like these will not fall through the cracks. But believe me, it is a lot easier to send a replacement or fix something if we know the full name or order number versus trying to track down your Reddit username.

I received around 90 bottle from them in 4 separate orders and never had one leak. I had another issue with them, I Just kept calling Brendan's cell. flavorahh only has 1 customer service rep, and its them owner of the company. He is very tough to get a hold of, just keep calling his cell, eventually the stars will align, it took me at least 20 calls. Because of this, I received his whole flavor line, free. I am not saying anyone will get that but in this case persistence pays

We shouldn't have to call 20 times to get an answer though. I can send an email to almost any other flavor vendor, and get a reply within 2-3 days, a week at the absolute most. I've sent around ten messages to three different Flavorah emails, called a few times, and even tried submitting a request directly on their website, all of which have gotten zero reply.

/u/brohemith Best way to get support when you have a problem with your order is to follow the instructions and use the email at the bottom of your pack slip or the CRM system through our website. If you do not include your order number or your name it is is almost impossible to fix a problem with your order.
