Cap vanilla custard v1.
How is it as a standalone flavor? I recently got some and have only used it in Funfetti.
Me too.
This post will probably end up in agreement with this link from the sidebar.
TFA Strawberry.
TFA STRAWBERRY
Because it deserves to be shouted.
I need to mix with that more. Got some for mustard milk and haven't tried it again. Thanks for the reminder.
Can i sub this for TFA strawbery ripe?
Yes and no.
TFA Strawberry is more of a candy-like strawberry, TFA Strawberry Ripe is a more realistic strawberry flavour with some slightly cooked and "rotten" notes. I find it's also slightly weaker than TFA Strawberry.
In saying that, they're both great flavours so it's worth a shot, but it won't be like the original recipe you're following.
Surprised no one has mentioned TFA dragonfruit yet. It's a great single flavor, and a great additive at low %s.
This stuff is delicious, the only thing I use more of at this point is TFA Bavarian Cream.
I wonder how they would be mixed...
This is a weird flavour for me. It smells good out of the bottle, but as a standalone (or as the main flavour) it has this weird dusty dry flavour and smells/tastes nothing like the bottle. I should play with it some more though, it's great in the 'nana Cream clone.
INW Cactus for sure! It adds a mysteriously refreshing feeling to any fruits recipe and helps marry together disparate fruits in medleys. It can get a little floral at higher percentages, which I personally like sometimes, but it's easy to avoid if you don't. I've started adapting my fruits recipes for use in flavouring carbonated water, and a single drop of INW Cactus makes any glass feel like a health-conscious sophistication.
What like using the flavorings in a soda stream machine? If so that's actually a cool idea I hadn't thought of yet... Hmm, maybe I'll order one of those things too lol
Yup, that's exactly what I do! I'm not a big fan of syrup-based carbonated drinks, but using vape flavourings gives my water a light, aromatic "suggestion" of flavour that's enjoyable to drink all day. I also love using cream and bakery flavours in milk (for milk, milk sodas, or in coffee). It's a different experience from vaping, so my preferences don't quite map 100%, but most of my recent vape recipes started out as beverage mixes (just because it's so fast to flavour up a glass of water, take a sip, and say "oh, I bet that'd vape real nice").
Most of my fruit mixes need a splash of TFA Citrus Punch, not super popular, but it goes with my palette.
I'm stuck on Italian lemon sicily (cap) god it smells sooooo good right out of the bottle.
Good thread. Stuff like this is what helps those of us trying to figure out what flavors to pull the trigger on for our first orders
Someone figured out one of my reasons for asking the community such an open ended question... Besides enjoying everyone's company, which is always fun, I'm also about 6 months (give or take) into diy and I'm ready to make a big flavor order. Some of these I'm already familiar with, others will be in an online cart in the next coming weeks. I'm also going to make sure to branch out from TFA, which up until now has been the only company I've ordered through.
If I had to answer my own question it would actually be TFA Bavarian Cream, it is my go to additive for just about every recipe I vape.
Molin Blueberry. Yogurt, milk, cheesecake, liquorice, that goes in everything.
CAP Dragonfruit
How do you compare it against TfA dragonfruit? I picked up some CAPs and it seems like it's missing that really interesting quality the TFA has. Would love to find a use for it but TFA blows it out of the water imo
Cola, but I can't replicate the fizzy sensation of Millennium Potion cola. Tried the TFA Champaign add in but it doesn't work.
What's the best cola you've tried? Been wanting to throw one together.
From Vapor DNA they have a cola that tastes great and has a fizzy sensation, I've gone through a dozen brands and nothing comes close. Downside is they only sell in 10ml bottles. Madtown Vapor has an excellent cola that is a combination of flavors to make a cola and it is great but a flat flavor but tasty nonetheless.
I don't know what you've tried, and I've never had a cola flavor. However, you might want to add some type of an acid to the recipe, as the fizzy sensation from carbonated drinks comes from the CO2 breaking down into carbonic acid. It's what the tongue interprets as the fizzy bite.
TFA Grape Juice.
I love grapes.
I have this flavor but have never used it. I just came upon a clone recipe for Galaxy Grape that calls for 20% Grape Juice and 10% Bavarian Cream. Does that sound anywhere within the realm of reality to you? I loved the original, but am scared to try this.
20%?
Sounds WAY too high for me. I mix it at around 4-6% if it's the main note in a recipe, maybe 10% if it's only grape.
20% would be very tart and very sweet. Also 10% bavarian? That's 30% flavouring!(?)
TFA Strawberry (RIPE) - It works in several ways with several other flavors.
I see a lot of people said the Non-Ripe version, but I think that the Regular Strawberry tastes awful.
I just ordered CAP Strawberry and never tasted it before and I pray that it tastes more like the TFA Ripe.
