Man I have all of these but the flavorings are high. Might try this but I'll lower the %. Especially the Koolada.

Yeah, koolada at 0.6% is perfect for me... hint of cooling, but not burning your lips.

I should tell you I make this in 80/20 vg/pg but the green apple absolutely shines through.

I'm a big fan of green apples, I guess I'll have to give it a try.

Bold?

I came up with this over the past few days. It's called Watermango Grapeade.

Watermelon TFA 3%
Grape Juice TFA 6%
Mango TFA 2%
Koolada TFA 3%
Citrus Punch TFA 2%
Sour TFA 2%

TFA's mango is from my findings very, very subtle. It adds a bit of nuance to this juice, but not enough to take over. The main flavours are watermelon and grape, with a nice undertone of citrus punch (Mountain Dew).

Depending on your preference, you could swap the grape and watermelon around to have a more grapey watermelon or a more watermelon-y grape. I have found that TFA's watermelon is very strong, so 3% is more than enough. I may even take it down to 2% in the next batch.

I like koolada and this vape has plenty of it, nice and cooling but not too in your face.

The sour kind of brings everything else out a bit more, adds a bit of kick to what is otherwise a very smooth vape. Kind of adds that bit of tang to give it that lemonade feel, but not pucker-inducing.

Overall, it's a very smooth but bold vape, good to go after a quick shake, no steeping required.

I mix mine to be 75% VG, but you can go as high as 82%.

Formatting for ya:

  • Watermelon TFA 3%
  • Grape Juice TFA 6%
  • Mango TFA 2%
  • Koolada TFA 3%
  • Citrus Punch TFA 2%
  • Sour TFA 2%

Watermelon and grape is a combo I haven't thought of before. I have INW Grape that I haven't even opened. I hate mango and I don't have Citrus P, and that Koolada at 3% makes me cringe (I'm good with about 2 drops/10ml) but I like the direction you're going.

Hmmm ... time to play!

I like the koolada at this level. Nice and cool.

It's definitely a strong flavour but so far every time I puff it it tastes slightly different.

The mango is barely there, just adds a hint of somewhat creamy fruitiness to the whole mix.

INW Grape is good but start at 2%. At 4% it's a little floral to me.

Yeah. I ended up doing 5%, as that's just been me "try out a new flavor alone" percentage and you're right. Way too much. Blackberry from them is the same way. I think I'll aim for the 1-2% in the future.

Thanks for sharing this. Unfortunately, I have only 2 of these flavors, so it may be a while before I can try it out. I'll let you know when I do

No worries man, let me know how you like it when you get around to it

Good idea for a thread, and I'll have to get some TFA Green Apple to try your mix. I really like the "blow your face off" flavors. I really like the Placid V7 clone that's floating around here, I think it's quite bold without being over the top.

I actually thought the V7 clone was a little lackluster. The lime was a huge kicker but it would die off after I took a second puff. I'm working on increasing the lime and balancing the pear. Have you had any findings?

This is what I played around with after making the V7, My version doesn't taste like Placid at all, though, so as a Placid clone it fails, but I think it's pretty good:

Placid clone v7

Ingredient|% :---|---: Honeysuckle (TPA)|5 Key Lime (TPA)|1 Lime Tahity Distilled (FA)|1 New RF Sweet Strawberry (CAP)|1 Pear (FA)|1.5 Pear (TPA)|1.5 Strawberry (Ripe) (TPA)|2 Strawberry (TPA)|2 Sweetener (Sucralose) (TPA)|1

Flavor total: 16%

Remember to rate it at e-liquid-recipes.com!

Oh, one more thing, the next time I make it I'm going to drop out the sucralose altogether. I don't think I like sucralose.

I like the "blow your face off" terminology haha. I'm gonna add it to the description.

TFA Green Apple is super strong. I've been using it at 1% along with 2.5% Fuji. I can't image what it's like at 8%. I might try it, for science.

I use at no greater than 4-5%

How is this with age? The malic is in a super-low percentage in your recipe, but after reading that malic and citric acid both can mute mixes over time, I've stopped experimenting... haven't seen either being used in a mix in a while! You notice anything detrimental?

Yes and no, mostly no. It's hard for me to determine small minute details in flavor, but I believe it helps.
