I have the idea to make a flavor that tastes like ocean water from sonic. I haven't started on it yet, but the premise would be (blue)coconut and sprite. I like tfa's coconut candy flavor for the coconut, but any ideas of how to nail the sprite out of lemon and lime or lemon/lime flavors? anything else you would add?
Came here thinking you wanted to create an e juice that tasted like actual ocean water...
But you could...and have different lines, The Pacific, the Dead Sea, etc. haha
Funny enough I thought about calling it Puget sound, because I'm originally from Washington and know just how unappealing the water from the Puget sound really is haha.
I feel like this is a good Seinfeld today episode. Kramer and Newman start their own juice line and all their flavors are muted so they over sweeten and their sales go through the roof.
David putty starts vaping and gets static when vaping on the subway. Elaine breaks up with him because he constantly fogged the apartment. "He's a vapehole jerry, a vapehole..."
Banya starts sub ohming and selling over rated rewraps.
The mayor of new York gets popcorn lung and blames it on Kramers juice. In his hospital room the camera zooms in on his mod next to banyas batteries and freeze frame as the battery begins to vent...
loranns lemonade and fa lime cold pressed is what I use in my cherry limeade.
edit: a little em to smooth is out too
I'll try these suggestions and report back. I know that smurfette by vapergate is supposed to be grape and sprite, and they nailed the sprite part pretty head on.
I've never tried ocean water but if you're looking for a coconut sprite here's what I'd suggest.
- 6% FW Natural Lemonade
- 2% FA Lime Cold Pressed
If it's fizzy
- low percentage of champagne
If it's cool
- 1-3 drops koolada per 10ml
As for the coconut, few options here.
-
FA Coconut 1-3%. Great realistic coconut flavour, lacking in texture and perhaps the refinement to produce the fibrus skin. HIC recommended FA Oakwood to give coconut that realistic fleshy aspect, might work here.
-
INW Kaktus. Very perfumey, only added imo to give it a juicy flavour. Add 1 drop per 10ml to increase the juicy amount of the juice. I think it'll contradict the oakwood and perhaps some of the drink aspect.
edit:
- Coconut Extra TFA. Supposedly you can keep it at 1% and after letting it steep it gives a very solid coconut flavour. Personally I hate it although I have used it at 1 drop per 10ml in one tropical mix
So no idea how close that may come to ocean water, I assume not very. I've been vaping similar things though, turns out pretty well.
The blue coconut is likely a blue raspberry coconut. Just off the top of my head I'd try
- TPA COCONUT EXTRA 1%
- TPA JUICY PEACH 8%
- TPA RASPBERRY SWEET 4%
- TPA CHAMPAIGNE 1%
- FA LIME COLD PRESSED 1.5%
- LA LEMONADE 2%
Sweeten to taste with some EM or your favorite sweetner.
