I want to divorce all syringes from my life.
I agree with /u/Nuresto213 pipettes are the way to go. Be careful when ordering pipettes on Amazon as some of them come from China even though Amazon will tell you they are shipped from the US. The Vktech ones are shipped from China.
This is true I always forget these little details, I have prime so I just stick to that stuff the two day shipping has spoiled me.
I've considered getting prime but I'm not sure I spend enough on Amazon to make it worth while. I've only purchased maybe five or six items in the last year from them.
I found that, (as Amazon had hoped, i imagine,) by getting Prime, i buy more on Amazon.
I live in the middle of nowhere so a lot of niche products aren't locally available. Plus there's something nice about being able to grab my phone and have "retail therapy" anytime i spontaneously remember that i need to buy something and loathe a trip to Walmart.
It's led to a sizable monthly Subscribe-n-Save subscription too. A case of toilet paper arrives at my doorstep every two months, for example. One less thing to get at Wally.
Occasionally I'll watch something on Prime Video.
Prime Music is in my rotation.
My wife used to make use of the Prime Kindle Lending Library....
It's worth the price-per-year, imo.
What’s wrong with China pipettes?
Or maybe you’re just referring to shipping time.
Yep that's it. I ordered them on the 1st of Oct. and won't get them until the 28th - Nov. 19th. I checked with Amazon to find out why it was going to take so long and they assured me they were being shipped from the US. Got an e-mail from the company telling me they were coming from China. I'm not a happy customer. Most of the products we use everyday are made in China or somewhere else like that so I don't have a problem with where they are made.
THESE will work however I don't personally recommend them. The new TPA bottles are very rigid and can be hard to squeeze. But if you are only filling an occasional small bottle, these might work for you. They do leak a little if not really cinched down, so I would try the pipettes first and keep these in mind if you want to play with them in the future.
EDIT: This link is for the cap only. They show a bottle and cap in the photo, but the bottle is not included in this price. :)
Newbie question: What's wrong with syringes? I haven't had a problem with them, though I haven't been doing this for very long.
I personally transfer flavoring from large non-drip bottles into smaller 60 or 120ml dripper bottles.. same type of bottles I use for the finished juice.
Pipettes are the slightly less annoying little brother of syringes... Not quite as much of a douche, but still a bit douchie.
