Sounds like oxidation to me. I always had that problem with wizlabs. I switched to nudenicotine, and only have problems if I treat it badly. I've heard similar reports on vaperstek and a few other on here, but don't have firsthand experience with them.

To store, pick up amber glass bottles with polycone lids, I use 1oz/30ml. As soon as you get your nic, transfer to those bottles, label them, and shove them in the freezer. I keep one out at working temp, but that's not really best, just way more convenient.

Don't store in plastic long term. Do store as cold as you can. Always shake the unholy heck out of the bottles before transferring for storage or using.

I use wizard labs and havent had any problems yet. As soon as i get my 100/10 i transfer it to mason jars and sit them in a cool dark area. BE CAREFUL!

It is possible that its your nic. Have you notice any discoloration? It should be completely clear.

Another possibility is flavoring. In my experience, TFA Vanilla Bean Ice Cream gives a pepper taste in some recipes. Maybe post some of the recipes you made so other people can weigh in on their experience with the flavors used?

The nicotine I ordered from Wizard Labs was very peppery, but as that was the first bottle I ordered when starting out a couple months ago, I didn't know it was bad until I ordered some from Nude Nicotine.

I noticed that the cap that came with the bottle wizard labs provided did not seal the bottle properly, as when it was shaken, nicotine would spurt out of it.

I'm not sure what kind of quality control issues they're having, but I would stay away from them for the time being.

I'm also not so sure about the quality of liquid barn nicotine, as I received the free sample they gave away on here a couple months back, and it was very peppery as well.

I will say that the nicotine I received from nude nicotine seems quite a bit stronger than the stuff I got from wizard labs and liquid barn, and they're all supposed to be 100 mg/ml, although that could be because the other 2 bottles had gone bad. But that can be dangerous, so if you do order from them, I recommend halving the normal amount you use.

Anyway, I'd probably give nude nicotine a shot. They seem the best out of the 3 I've tried so far, and they have a cheap sample bottle you can try out.

If your nic is yellow or orange, it's your nic.

I purchased some nic from WL and had the same problem, right out of the package. The customer service was great, but the product is just too hit or miss for me to buy again.

If you want to check your nic, mix 5ml or 10ml of juice with just nic and your VG/PG ratio. It should not taste like anything. However, I have done this with six-month-old WL nic and the mix did deliver a taste. I did not properly store the nic though.

I got some nic like that from wizardlabs. They messaged me on here and told me to call customer service but those chicks were of no help and wouldn't return my calls. Switched to vaporstek and couldn't be happier. Smooth as can be.

Its the Wizard nicotine that taste all peppery. I had the same issue with it back when I used them. I just dont like it.

I would suggest VaporsTek nicotine, taste like nothing.

How much nic are you actually adding to your juice? The number you are aiming for and the actual ratio of the nic VG and everything else you are mixing into your juice. The taste could just be from too strong of a concentration.

Peppery taste is usually attributed to oxidized (old) nicotine. If everything was tasting okay at first, I am wondering how you stored your nicotine. It should be stored in a UV proof (amber normally) bottle in the freezer until ready for use to prevent oxidation/aging.

Wiz Labs doesn't have the best nicotine, but it's passable.

PG and VG can be bad, but peppery taste is usually attributed to old nicotine.

Do a test of straight VG, then VG and PG, then VG, PG and Nic. If all of that tastes like nothing together it's your flavorings

Well the worst part of it is ive already invested about 90$ of supplies into juices IVE ALREADY MIXED and now they all taste like freshly ground black pepper, like a ceasar salad without the salad. Im going to give them an email and see what they do. Will post update.

Nicotine with have a fishy taste when it goes bad.

PG/VG will not go bad.

Did you shake the shit out of the nicotine? If it's in VG, it's easier for nicotine to have hotspots (uneven dispersion). If you did shake it like crazy, and everything you make with it is peppery, then the nic is just bad. If you didn't shake it good enough, then you probably have a hotspot in the bottle you were using.

I usually get nicotine in 50/50 blend or 100% PG so that it's easier to shake and avoid issues like this. But it could just be bad nic. Wiz Lab's stuff isn't bad, but I wouldn't say it's great either.
