Since summer is over, thought I'd finally share my all summer vape. Cool Lime Cuke!
submitted almost 10 years ago by 5ive_Star

*5% Cap Cucumber

*3% TFA Pear

*1% FLV Lime

*1% INW Cactus

*1 drop Koolada per 6 ml

This is what I played with and vaped non-stop all summer. It's cool and light. Fresh lime with hints of cucumber, pear and cactus, the pear adds a nice sweet touch. FLV lime is very potent, like many other FLV flavors. Anything over 1% overtakes any other flavor. I like to compare it to a lemon-lime gatorade. It's not a straight up lime but a has hints of lemon to it. It really plays well with CAP cucumber.

I first tried to use TFA cucumber, that didn't work well. It's a more bitter raw cucumber. CAP's is more airy and has a slightly sweet smell to it when compared. YMMV here but CAP cucumber is the way to go when it comes to Cucumber.

FA Cold pressed lime was a nice lime that worked well in here, it has a lot of bite, but the lack of lemon note sold me on FLV lime in here.

TFA pear adds enough sweetness without making it too tart, you could also probably just use a little bit of EM or another sweetener here to find that sweet note if you don't like a hint of pear. I personally haven't tried that.

INW cactus is the "wet" feeling we all know and love in our fruit vapes. Use it, love it, get to know it.

Koolada is all preference. It gives a nice cool inhale that I really like with the freshness of the overall vape.

I usually mix 70/30 for what it's worth. This is a great shake and vape that really mellows out on the lime after a few days. I never heat steep, it just destroys my fruit flavors. Just throw it under a shelf or something.

Any and all suggestions are appreciated! I'll be putting this in the recipe thread but I'd love feedback. Enjoy! and may our mixing lords be with you.

It's actually Flavorah. They're upping their flavor game by alot and have a pretty good selection now. I got mine at gremlindiy iirc. Either that or BCV(bull city vapor). ha good luck with your search. Hope you get a chance to mix it up!

I like INW flavors as a whole, and while I haven't tried that specific one. I actually have it on order as well!

This looks amazing. Have you tried FA Cucumber? I have some on the way and was hoping I could sub it since I have everything else.

I haven't! But I'd like to hear how it plays with this, let me know.

I'm not able to find "cold pressed lime" by TFA. Am I missing something? The only thing similar that I have found on Bullcity was Lime Tahity (cold pressed) by FA.

I believe it's actually FA cold pressed lime. The label wore off due to water damage awhile ago and I knew it was a cold pressed just forgot the maker. It was either fa or tfa. Good lookin out. Sorry! edited.

I knocked thw cucumber down 1 percent and used CAP Key Lime @ 3%. Other than those minor changes I didn't use Koolada. Still turned out great. Very smooth and clean tasting.

One more thing (In uncle from jackie chan adventures voice)! I heard very good things about FA Lime Tahity-Distilled (not cold pressed), and bullcityvapor doesn't have FLV lime. Does anyone know if that also lacks a lemon note as this is one of the best limes I've heard and really don't want the lemon note that cold pressed has. Or will this at least be decent in this at 1%? I really want to make this exact recipe without the koolada. /u/5ive_Star do you think a 12-24 hour heat steep (in 110 120F water) with the lid off to air the mix for half of the time (or less?) would release any necessary flavors as I generally like to air out most citrus flavors a little. I only keep the water at an almost hot to touch. I wouldn't really call it much of a heat steep.
