I really just wanted to take a moment and talk to you guys and let you know just how much this community has changed my life. When I started this journey a couple years ago, I never thought I would be able to quit. I just didn't have the supposed willpower of others, and oftentimes have pretty crappy coping mechanisms.
With help from a lot of people, a lot of questions that got answered, and people not willing to let me quit when I was frustrated because I didn't get something or it wasn't working, I'm almost 2 years smoke free.
With DIY I was able to become fully self sufficient in making my own juice and not having to rely on shops at exorbitant prices. Yah I still measure by volume and not weight, but it's a step I plan on making before the end of the year (baby steps).
And while it may seem like I'm behind the curve, just last night I fully conquered building my own coils. That may seem dumb to you, but I was chasing something and was struggling to get what I needed. Long nails (I'm a girl btw) that I just don't want to give up because its also a hobby of mine, and atties that were too small, and builds that were too fiddly for me to accomplish with them. Solved by a dear friend in CCI who wouldn't let me quit and ALWAYS answered my questions and tried to get me what I wanted. A change in atties was the first step, with the final piece being nichrome for faster ramp up time, and now I no longer have to fight with the parallel builds and have something I love (22g nichrome 6/7wraps over a 3mm bit)
Aside from building the mods themselves, I AM COMPLETELY SELF SUFFICIENT!

I get a warm and fuzzy feeling everyday when I check out the sub and see we've added another 30-40 subscribers. On top of that, I know we're the best community on Reddit, period. Definitely the most helpful, but also the most friendly, the least cliquey even though there is some of that, and all around just an awesome group of people to be around.

Yes this Reddit was a godsend for me. I was beginning to get seriously frustrated with my own recipes, when I signed up here. And this sub has not only been a source of some killer recipes, but has given me a greater understanding of the ingredients I use. P.S Mixing with a scale just makes life so much easier. You'll love it :)
