No, it doesn't go bad.
Once oxygen is introduced, it begins to collect moisture, so if you open it, over time it will slowly increase in water %.
Even factory sealed, it will slowly take on water, but it is a long term process. Perhaps someone with a bit more chemical knowledge could give us a shelf life, but I know it is pretty long.

Damn you muricans for getting everything cheap, can’t find fairly priced VG/PG with quality for the life of me in EU. Buying from a pretty shady site right now for homebrewing etc, 8 bucks for 1l of VG, pretty cheap but it’s rebottled and the guys don’t seem to know what they’re doing, caps weren’t tightly on so the bottles leaked all over the package it was shipped in lol.
Where are you located? Perhaps I can find a way to get you good quality VG affordable?
